Broken and wont fix
I bought a couch two years ago and I am still paying on this couch and they refuse to fix the part that is broken on two couches and a chairI have a sectional they refuse to come out and fixI went into the store and bought bedroom furniture from them and told them I would only buy if they would fixA manager came out and fed me lies and said my mom has this couch here is how you can fix it and showed me that there was loose parts on this couch that I bought and that would fix the problem and I believed himI went home and this was not the problem with my couch it was a whole other issueI called and they told me they can not do anything about the issueI have called them numerous times to fix this issueThe first time was within a month of my purchase and they came and fixed it and now that same issue is back and they tell me they will not fix it

3/3/I purchased sofa's from RTG order XXXXXXXXThe delivery was not what I expected and the delivery guys scratched and dentented my steal doorThese guys didn't remove the door from the hingesThe couches were incorrect, so I went back and they worked with me to correctThe next delivery guys took the door off the hinges, but when they put it back on ~ they put the hinge on the seal which made it very difficult to open and closeIt wasn't until weeks later I got a damage claim representative to contact meI sent him pictures & he came back with a $check to be mailed to meI explained that the door doesn't cost $but if that's what he was offering I acceptedThe problem is I never recieved anything as of today with it now being MayMy door is now hanging on one hinge between the two different times they came out to deliverI have kids and

On April 26th I purchase a sectional sofa for the living room with my credit card and it was delivered within a week The following day I noticed damage from the feet of the sectional sofa on the hardwood floors in my condoI called customer service immediately and they asked for me to take some pictures which I did and emailed themOn May 11, Rooms to Go accepted responsibility and Tajana Memailed me offering dollars for my inconvenience and a dollars store credit for an area carpet from Rooms To Go store I did not accept the settlement but instead made a counteroffer which they said they would get back to me on two separate occasions, I have yet to hear from them.Since then, I have had estimates for the hardwood floor damage to be replaced which is more in line with my request to Rooms To Go

Based on my experience I don't even want to give a piece of a star at all!! Went into the Huntsville, AL store on December Found not only the set of living room furniture I wanted but also buying a set for my In-Laws Explained to the sales lady (Shelia) that we wanted the package with the power reclining sofa because there was no way my in-laws could fold down the manual chairs We even discussed with Shelia if the extended warranty covered the electronics I purchased the set and my husband purchased the same set for his parents My order was delivered on JanuaryI get a text from my husband who went home for lunch saying " I thought you bought the power recliner sofa" I did....or that's what I thought I did, all the receipt says in reclining sofaI call customer service who can't help me and forwards my call to the store I again talk to Shelia and she says no the package was for the manual OK but that is not what we talked about and NOT what I want Finally talk to the Manager, he tells me that I will have to pay the difference and they will swap the couches out Then I'm told they cannot take my additional payment over the phone I will have to come back into the store (which is min one way) I told him I could not do that He proceeds to tell me that Shelia can put an order in online for the difference and once that is done I can pay online Not great but fine I make sure to ask that I need this done for both my order and my in-lawsYes, they will do it for both On January 15th my in-laws order was delivered, already know its the wrong couch but in the process of putting the tables together the delivery guy screwed a screw to much and it went through the top of one of the tables Now have to have that replaced It is now January 16th and I get a call at work from Shelia telling me she cannot put my order in online and I will have to come into the store to pay I call Customer Care to see if they can help NO SUCH LUCK they don't accept payments they only do returns and replacements Should not be called customer care I can promise you I will never purchase anything from you again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know and some I don't not to buy either Complete BS!!!

Delay in service for defective sofa recliner
In Feb 2016, I purchased (Order Number: XXXXXXXXi)a sofa recliner, love seat and recliner (Anaheim Mink Pc Living Room - XXXXXXXP) as an internet orderI received delivery on 2/9/at which time the loveseat and recliner were damaged A re-delivery was scheduled for the loveseat on 2/and was delivered without issue, but developed an issue within a month (right side sagging very low) and service techs responded on 4/20/to repair the loveseat A service tech was scheduled for 2/15/to repair the recliner, but this was delayed twice and service was eventually canceled by Room To Go but hey did set up a re-delivery for the recliner on 3/1/

Hidden Charges
We purchased a tableWe asked for it to be deliveredThey told us it would cost to deliver the tableIn order to save money, my sisters agreed to pick up the table at the warehouseWhen I went to get a refund for the delivery charge they told we would have to pay to pick up our own tableNever heard of that!!!

I am really surprise that Rooms to Go has an A+ Revdex.com rating with all of the complaints Being a cancer patient, my experience on 6/raised my blood pressure to the point my oncologist postponed chemo for one day To avoid partial deliveries, I wanted days for the June 12th delivery (order placed 5/12) I made sure that the sales rep knew that I have company coming in on 6/from overseas and needed the bedroom set plus two bar stools to match previous purchase from RTG Cost of the items was $purchase from RTG , Gulf Fey, Friendswood, TX They started calling me as early as 6/with two additional phone calls plus text message on 6/alerting to the delivery confirmation and window of deliver Sounds great until the delivery date The drivers came in agitated about moving a couple pieces from the room which the AsstSales Manager had noted on the sales order *** They conceded when I told them they could take back the entire shipment because the contract had been breached They unloaded the dresser, nightstand and two bar stools They scratched paint off one of my stair posts (new constructed which I moved into 4/4/2018) Then, they tried to get me to accept a child twin white bed in lieu of what was ordered They said they were not allowed to bring furniture back to the store I refused to accept the wrong small bed when a queen bed was ordered totally different color and higher quality My neighbor came over after seeing and hearing the discussions When I asked them to get the bed rails from blocking my door from closing they took the bed rails plus footboard and got in their truck and left I DID NOT SIGN A DELIVERY TICKET I called Customer Care and they told me RTG will not take the furniture back even knowing it was their error (miss pull) Josh Vthe Customer Care Rep said my only options would be accept a reschedule for July or after (remember, my quests from overseas arrive on 6/or to accept a store credit) I refused both options I drove minutes back the Friendswood store and met with one of the unprofessional AsstSales Manager ever and I am years old When trying to explain RTG error she looked me in my face and said they never make errors/mistakes!! I told her she was wrong and I was upset she could care less about the problem and unplanned expense RTG had caused She told me I was "rude and she no longer wanted to talk to me and to "GET OUT OF HER STORE" I told her I did not see her name on the store or Executive Profiles and would not leave until this matter was resolved She then said I was frightening her and was going to call store security to 'THROW ME OUT" She refused to provide me her name I am a year old bald-headed cancer patient, 5' tall size 6- The receptionist had call for another AsstSales Manager (George D.) who came out to diffuse the situation caused by the AsstFemale Sales Manager My sister was with me and recorded minutes of this event As of 6/the furniture delivered is still in my house George Dsaid it would be picktoday (6/14) but no one can give a pick up time To accommodate the pick-up, I told them a window for piwas needed so I could reschedule a 1/chemo treatment They did not care nor tried to be accommodating I was told that if I left my house and miss the truck it would be another week before they could come back to pick up furniture I never signed for the delivery I am hoping that Revdex.com will correct the rating to allow Houston consumers to be intelligent in doing business with a company like RTG It was even more shocking to find similar comments such as mind recently posted from other states If nothing can be done then I will contact Dan Patrick, Texas Attorney General Texans need to be aware and protected from companies such as RTG I tried calling MrSbut he nor his V.Pwould take my call
