The staff at this Rooms To Go Acceptance Now Department are very nice when they are making a sale, when you go back with an issue they ignore you
On December 29th we purchased a King mattress under the day same as cash program with rooms to goThis was the second time we used this program and we were pleased with it, however the second time was a nightmareThe sales staff made a mistake and sold us these boards called bunkies to go under the mattress and when we got home they did not fit, we went right away and returned them but we kept the mattressThis is where the errors began the contract had to be redone and the rep was having trouble with it and he did it times.The original price was $ for the mattress and bunkies, then the store manager was very nice and adjusted the price to $we made our payments on the day before they were due in person, then the date of the last payment (2-22-17) I went to pay the item off and the rep told me that the full amount

DAMAGED BEDS FROM ROOMS TO GO
I bought a platform bed from Rooms to Go, the delivery men damaged the whole bed putting it togetherThey brought me a second bed, the delivery men also damaged the bed putting it togetherThen they brought me a 3rd bed, the delivery men also damaged it putting it togetherA 4th bed was brought and it was damaged in the box, so now I am waiting on a 5th bedRooms to Go has the worst customer serviceThey do nothing to speed up my deliveryI have had to wait at home hours for each bed to come, as they will not call to tell me they are coming.This has been going on almost months now

Delivery men stole jewelery from my home and were snooping around my closet and bathroomCompany did nothing about it

In the past days of waiting for a couch, I was called times, emailed and SMS texted times and guess what, they still blew the time for delivery
While their prices LOOK appealing, I can assure you that is only 1/the story, because their back end service is weak at bestThey have poorly trained support people (and I spoke with a great many of them to TRY to get this delivered...I still have no furniture
My experience can be compared to a real sexy stupid girl...she looks good on the outside and the moment she opens her mouth, all you want to do is figure a way out of thereDon't stick around for the nightcap...get out NOW, save the pain and walk out of the store

HORRIBLE CONDITION OF 'BRAND NEW' FURNITURE
I needed furniture and went to Rooms To Go I ordered a large quantity and delivery was schedule During the first delivery, my headboard and all chairs were damaged And I am not talking about minor dents and dings One chair has two HOLES on the back of one leg, another had a CRACKED leg and the other two had significant wood CHIPS I called and explained how unhappy I was and they scheduled another delivery to replace my damaged furniture for a week later
Second delivery they brought a new headboard and more chairs They headboard had damage and out of the chairs were damaged One had SCREWS sticking out of the bottom of the leg and the other had a puncture HOLES I called Rooms To Go again and asked why there is no quality control I explained that I spend a lot of money for NEW furniture and what I was receiving was beyond unacceptable How can they deliver chairs with holes and screws sticking out of the bottom of

First off let me state honestly, the furniture quality and aspect is not the issueI also don't normally care to bash companies as it's not ever gotten to me like this incidentThat being said, here is the skinnyI visited a store on the 3/21/I believe and worked with a woman named ArleenShe was somewhat helpful and seemed in-line with your average furniture salespersonAfter we found the couch we like, she ordered it in the fabric and color we wanted and stated that delivery needs a full day windowI replied "We have jobs, I can't take a full day off for the delivery of one couch, can they call me when they are headed my way, as I live minutes from my house?" She replied they can't guarantee a call..and compared it to the cable companyI laughed and said, "Even the cable company calls when they are on the way." Long story short I opted to pick it up from the outlet off of on Wednesday the 28thThat was issue #1, issue #was that even with ME picking it up there was a $delivery feelike wait what? Issue #Move to that same weekend, my gf and I found a couch and deal we liked better and bought the couch right then and there off the floorCalled Rooms to go Monday the 26th to cancel my couch that I have NOT seen, picked up, open, sat on or even feltThey reply"no problem we can cancel and keep 20% as store credit for a re-stocking fee because I didn't cancel within 48hrs I asked them what they were talking about and they said"did you read the contract?? I said contract? It's a couchnot a car or houseIf there is something as serious and stringent as a 48hr freaking return policy you need that in BOLD font on the front of your awful store and every associate needs to say that during checkout(ours did not, thanks Arleen)I asked to speak to a managershe replied I am a manager, I said then can I speak to your boss as I am not losing $dollars (couch with tax was $750) for a couch I haven't even gotten yetAnother gentleman comes on the phone, named Matt or Jason, super condescending and even had the nerve to tell me that he is not responsible for something I signed and didn't read(in all fairness, I work with contracts and vendor agreements FOR A LIVING) I am fully aware that I should of read itbut who in their right mind would have a 48hr return policyI am pretty sure I can take a half eaten cheeseburger back longer than thatNeedless to say I lost my temper and told them to cancel the order that I would never EVER be shopping or buying from Rooms to go againCalled and left corporate a VM to call me back two days agostill no call backBEWARE of the policies and awful customer service this place has

Mattress Warranty Issue
I purchased a bedroom suite from Rooms to Go (RTG) several years ago With the bed I also purchased a king mattress and foundation set It proved to be a defective mattress; sinking in the places where my husband and I slept I contacted them and they sent a technician out and he determined that it was defective and to return to the store to obtain another mattress set of equal or lesser value The salesperson at the time encouraged us to upgrade to the next level which was an extra $outside of the store credit Now, the same thing has happened with this mattress I have contacted RTG and spoken with people who all say that because this particular company is no longer in business that any warranty associated with the mattress is invalid they "can't" send someone out to evaluate the mattress or give me any sort of credit to obtain another mattress They have sold me not one, but two defective products and I feel that it is up to them to correct t

I believe that bed bugs came from rooms to go due to the fact that this is where we found the most infestation when we did the initial treatment
I bought furniture in april and it was a bedroom set I bought this in midland tx and I had the men come in and set it up due to the amount of space I was not in the room the entire time it was set up my mom first started to see bed bugs not to long after and then she proceeded to dump her bed and when she cleared it out we saw no signs on the box frame or the mattress but we still got rid of itSoon after I saw them and I was like okay we need to do something so we called in pest control to start this initial treatment we needed to pull up box boards mattresses wash all our clothes and deep clean essentially when this was done I found a huge infestation of about to bed bugs under the box board of my BRAND NEW bed and I was like hmm dont these infestations take awhileSo pest control comes in sprays and then we keep seeing them

The business failed to ensure all items were available for delivery on the agreed upon date even though the purchase was made months in advance

Furniture that is sold is poor quality, and RTG does not want to fix issues/problems past year
I purchased a piece living room a little over year ago from RTG The sofa has already had to be serviced due to the springs "popping" when you move on the sofa That problem was resolved (fingers crossed)
The swivel chair we purchased has had ball bearing pop out of the bottom and damaged our hard wood floorsWe called RTG around 1-31-
The service guy came out-although the home RTG store said we were just beyond our year warranty time frame He looked at the chair, and told us that it was poorly made and NOT due to any rough wear/tear He said that he was going to order a base for it, send it to our home, and come back to replace the chair

I have been purchasing from Rooms to go for yearsMy only complaint has been the delivery service they useWe have had multiple returns for damaged furnitureSometimes different pieces of furniture had to be returnedIt has always been resolvedThis last issue with the delivery service is that the mover damaged one of our spindles on the stair caseIt is bent right in the middleThe mover decided to carry the couch on his back by himselfHe turned at the top of the staircase and that's when he damaged the spindleIt has been nearly a month and all we get is the run aroundNo one will return any of our multiple weekly callsMaybe after this review it will become important to whoever is in charge
