The customer gave us their SSI numbers and therefore knew we would run their creditWe only pulled their credit report, we did not submit to any banks

I am rejecting this response because: My girlfriend was present at every visit to Best RV, the purchase of the fifth wheel, the first walkthrough (where multiple things weren't working and only the exterior paint was fixed), and the second walkthrough where you state we spent hours going over the unitIn fact, we spent hours waiting to go over the unitEven though we called ahead and made an appointment for early afternoon to come see the fifth wheel, when we arrived we were told it was only ready to view from the outsideWe again stressed how important it was to make sure everything was working before we have it delivered since we won't be able to take it anywhere until we purchase a truckAfter asking multiple times, you had some of the employees try to power it on so we could go inside and make sure the bump outs worked (which was another issue last time)This is when we all found that the batteries were deadEven though we had purchased brand new onesAn employee went and grabbed a random, used battery from somewhere even though we stated we didn't mind waiting for the new batteries we bought to be put inIt then took quite some time for this battery to charge/power up the fifth wheel enough to move the bump outs, so we waited for that as wellWe didn't mind waiting, as we wanted to be sure everything would work - which we said over and overOnce we could finally get into the fifth wheel, we were maybe 15minutes in at the mostWe went through and noticed things weren't operating, which we were assured and promised was only due to the battery still getting its charge back upWe believed you, as you are the expertsIt was very disappointing to find out after delivery that not only things were working, but you made promises while representing Best RVIt baffles me as to why Best RV would let a brand new, never used fifth wheel leave their lot in non-working condition and then not be able to do anything to make this right (especially after I as the buyer put in so much effort with phone calls and extra visits to be sure things were operable)We were guaranteed that the solar would be able to power the entire fifth wheel, with plenty of energy to spareNo generator needed, we were told by [redacted] that the generator was not needed as we are overbuying power with the solar panels and batteryWe were promised this, there is not misunderstanding as I was very clear with my questionsI did not buy $10,worth of solar and batteries to power the TV and some lightsI was promised a fully functional fifth wheelIf this is truly not possible without more money being spent on extra things, like the generator you just now mentioned, then something needs to be done to right this wrongPlease consider what options we have on all fronts of this matterWe are open to suggestions that are reasonable

First let me clarify a few items listed aboveThe customer's concern's where submitted to the factory for approval as the warranty comes from the Manufacturer, not the selling dealerOnce approved the rubber was ordered right awayThe customer was advised the rubber usually takes about a week or to arrive., and we told the customer we can usually do a roof in about a weekThe customer dropped of the unit and we were still waiting for the rubber to arriveUnfortunately, the rubber was delayed and actually arrived yesterdayThey unit had already been prepped for the new roof, so we could get it done quickly for the customerNext, when the customer called yesterday, started screaming he was coming down herethe customer verbally assaulted our employee and to which threatened bodily harm to our employeeWe do not tolerate that behavior in any mannerThe customer showed up this morning, and started screaming again, if the customer would have been patient enough to talk to us, we would have explained how the rubber just arrived yesterday, and the unit had already been prepped for the new roof so we could complete it quicklyInstead, the customer screamed and threatened employee's again and leftWe will complete the roof job and notify the customer when it's finishedNo other work will be performed of promised

The customer's came in and sat down with the ownerThe customer asked what kind of payment and interest they could get at which time the customer gave him their information including their SS numbers to check their credit to see what payment and interest they could getThe customer was completely aware of what the process was

Here is what we got back today from ***.Check received 8-24-17Check posted 8-29-17There will not be any type of repayment for interest

The customer did receive batteries, per the due bill as stated batteries/lp and the chargeIt is not stated as batteries installed, so there is nothing to refundNext, we will get the light to them if they could please send us a photoThe screen door for these types of unit's are shipped form the factory on the bed as they are a park model and not to be put on the door until they are parked

I am rejecting this response because:As many times in the past the Best RV has liedNeither me or my lawyer have heard back from Best RV as they stated to youMy Lawyer has sent another message to Best RV today without any response Also Best RV assured me before I drove five hours to their dealership that the trailer measured foot and was exactly like the other trailers I had measuredGiven that info I felt I did not have to double check the traileralso there were many other things wrong with the trailer I was trying to get addressed before I left the dealershipSo this issue is not resolved as they stated by Best RVMy deposit was not refunded to me as they stated [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: The form CFR was NOT posted on, nor in the vehicle.The wife and I both do not recall signing this formIf Best RV has this form as it claims is signed by the wife and I request that form be provided.Note to Revdex.com: was the Amp power cord and the DVD/CD/AMFM player both covered under the complaint # [redacted] ?Thank You [redacted]

This unit did not come with the backwall optionSome unit's have them but there's did notThe customer should have verified this at the time of purchaseAs for the warranty issues, customer needs to make an appointmentThe customer can purchase the backwallNo further action will be taken

The customer had in fact moved times since purchasing the unitSo that was way there was a delay in the DMV paperworkCheck # [redacted] in the amount of $is going out today to the customerI will check into the scratch on the unit today

I would like to cancel complaint ID against Best RV CenterThey have finally called me back and am happy with their attempt to resolve the problemThank you for your help

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is apparently the best option that Best RV can offerThe likelihood that another trailer that meets the necessary criteria for my family's needs will be found any time soon, at a reasonable price is most unlikely!

We had previously explained to the customer that yes, we are in the busy season, and we would address his concern when it slowed downWe have customer's that have major issues that prevent them from using their coach, whethis is a cosmetic issue and doesn't prevent the customer from using the unitThe customer was told that [redacted] would contact him, the customer choose to drive here on his ownWe will not offer any type of reimbursementWe will contact the customer when the busy season is over to remove the overspray

We are working with the Factory on this customer's unitWe sent photo's yesterday to the FactoryWe have spoken to the factory already this morning and they are requesting some more information that we are getting them nowI will update with any new information as it become's available

We have met with our Sales team and explained that the park models only have room for batteryWe apologize again for the information you were given that could be installedAs for the light we are sending it to you, I'm sorry they missed it during your walk through as they should have replaced it then If you could send photo's of the screen to [redacted] we will get with the factory and see if we can get it taken care of

I am rejecting this response because: we were told by the service manager that the generator would run everything in the trailer When we asked the service manager what generator do we need to run everything in the trailer he told us the would run everything in the unit After purchasing the and having installed by Besr RV we the trailer homeWe ran the generator at that time the breaker tripped several timesWe call the Service dept to find out why and was told that we could not run the air conditioner and other applicances (water heater, microwave/ convection oven, dishwasher & refrigator) at the same time Our guestion was why weren't we told this before the purchase We Asked them which generator we needed to assure we could live off grid since we would be living full time in the trailer As I said we purchased the trailer because the sales person and [redacted] rep said 2, generators would run everything and when the service dept said we needed the and found out this was not trueif we were told this ahead of time we would have purchased a different trailer that the would the load We told them several time we would be living full time and off grid to make sure we were purchasing a unit that we could trust Big Question, WHY WERE WE NOT TOLD AHEAD OF TIME Not fair that we were sold something that they said would work on and OFF THE GRID

I am rejecting this response because: As stated in the last rejected response, Best RV is again passing the buckI state again that I called [redacted] and they informed me that the selling dealer takes care of thisNow they are saying they have sent a request ? ( Mail ? ), The time before is was a phone call ? Which was it ? The time of year is busy ? What time of year is not busy for a business ? Stalling is what Best RV is doingI have now sold the trailer and the note that was on the trailer purchase and price of the warranty is paid offFor a large RV business that does the amount of business, this type of transaction should be route and take any time at allBest RV has not addressed any of my statements about the call I made to [redacted] ? Probably due to they do not have a valid responseThe last time they sent a response was 12-20-and just now they are re-responding ? This is not of any priority to them and they are just trying to lengthen the time and hope it goes awayWhat steps can I take next to resolve this issues ?

This customer completely understood when he first started the buying process that any type of deposit is non-refundableIt was discussed at length with the customerWe had done the PDI on this unit and the unit was held for months for this customer, which means, we still paid flooring for this unit and we were not able to sell itThe customer understood there was no refund on the depositAs was told that each time he contacted us.No further action will be taken
