I have canceled my account in April of 2017. I still receive filters in the mail and billing for these filters.
The account had been closed for 2 months.but I still receive filters and get billed for them. I sent two emails one in April and one today. April contact said no problem we will close it. I have asked today again to he canceled and showed them the screen shot where is shows account closed.

Desired Outcome

I feel that I should be refunded $39.99 $19.95 for two months.

We're sorry to see you cancel your subscription with us. A review of your account information shows that you have actually had two subscriptions with us at the same address, each one registered to a different email address. The #*** subscription that you included as a screenshot was a subscription that only had two shipments associated with it. That was canceled in Dec 2017.

We have checked our system's records and do not show an email requesting cancellation until today, 6/15/2018. We promptly cancelled this most recent subscription at your request. You may log into that separate account if you wish to verify its status.

We can understand how it may be unsettling to pay for something that was thought to be cancelled. Therefore, we've gone ahead and refunded the most recent shipment, sent 5/30/2018 in the amount of $19.97. Please allow a few days for this to be reflected on your payment method.

Please contact our Member Experience team if we can be of any further assistance, or should you wish to resume service in the future. Please accept our apologies for any unintended frustration.

I feel I should be refunded 2 months not just one and I do not want the account credited I want the card refunded.for $39.99

Your two subscriptions never overlapped in time, and were created with two separate email addresses. That was only mentioned in our response, however, in reference to the cancelled status screenshot you had sent. We just wanted to make sure you were aware that one was canceled way in advance of the other.

In reference to your recent cancellation request, we have gone ahead and refunded an additional $19.95 to your credit card to ensure your satisfaction. A separate $19.95 refund was instituted on 6/15 as we reported, we did not credit your FilterEasy account. It can sometimes take a few days processing time to reflect the refund on your credit card.

Filter Easy is a Great Company and have Great Service! *** is always quick to respond and is very knowledgeable when answering any questions.

I would never recommend this company to anyone! First off, it took them over a month to send me a filter. I would rather pay for shipping than wait that long to receive a product. Second, the product was damaged. It was bent and in horrible condition. I contacted them and they never sent me a new one. And then I go to cancel, and I have to contact them to do so. It's like I have to get their "permission" to cancel the subscription? Don't use this service folks! They send out crappy products and have horrible customer service! I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

Hi ***,

We're so sorry that this happened and understand your frustration. It looks like the transit time was a bit abnormally long at about 2 weeks on your order, over the New Year's holiday. We apologize for this, and can tell you that is not the normal occurance. The great news is that we now have an additional fulfillment center in place to help cut down on the time it takes carriers to deliver shipments across the country (we're headquartered in NC).

To then have your filter arrive damaged is certainly not a great first impression, either- so we will make this right! While we try our best to package our shipments to avoid any damage, there are times that carriers will end up compromising the products. We certainly don't want you thinking our filters are crappy, however!

I'm having someone from our Member Experience team reach out to you about these issues and send you a replacement filter. Please accept our apologies; we appreciate your business and hope you'll continue to allow us to be your home's air filter supplier.

Shipped package that I won't receive because I no longer live there.
I had a subscription service for these filters. I was not given notice of the renewal which would have given me time to change my order and address. I asked to cancel the subscription since I wouldn't be needing this service as I have moved and that this package would not be delivered to me successfully. The company informed me that they cannot do anything about that from here and I'm at a loss. My account was deactivated but they declined to send me a reshipment or refund. I stated the tenants at the address I lived at would be returning the package to sender. They still stated they will issue no refund. I feel this was not empathetic nor fair to have paid for a service I can't use because I changed my address and was not notified of it being sent out until after it had already shipped.

Desired Outcome

I would like my account completely cancelled and a refund to be issued in full. The package is being returned to sender and this is unfair to me as the consumer.

We're sorry your last filter shipment missed you after you had moved. Since we hadn't received any advanced notification of your address changing, we didn't know to handle your order any differently when it was time for your next scheduled delivery. The terms of our service do explain that we will charge the payment method on file when we prepare and send your filters out.

Since you did not receive the filters, however, we will go ahead and issue a refund for you. You should see this reflected on your card within the next few business days.

If you enjoyed the convenience of our service, please consider starting a subscription for your new address. Our Member Experience team would be happy to assist you in setting that up, it will only take a few minutes if you have your new filter sizes. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope your concerns are resolved; we thank you for your business.

The filters are great value. I love the auto ship. This helps prevent going to the store and not finding what I needed. I also it helps me to know when to change the filters

I recently sign up for a subscription, as advertised by the company first set of filters is free, the never sent the filters, this is a bogus company with false advertisement. I just waste my time with this company, I only hear from them is asking over and over about the quantity of filters other than that the filters we're not shipped.

We aboslutely honor our free trial subscription offer for the filters you need in your home. Your order was placed for 12 free filters, however, which seemed in excess to what your home actually needs, and we contacted you for clarification. As I'm sure you can understand, we cannot send extra free filters, or we wouldn't be able to offer this trial for folks. Our trial is designed to try our service free one time, when you sign up for regular deliveries. We reached out to you to verify your needs and your responses were both unclear and consistent with just wanting to get free products and not continue the service. In addition, your payment method came back with insufficient funds, so we had no way to charge your future shipments. After repeated attempts to gather your true filter quantities and sizes, we clearly communicated our plans to cancel your subscription, but did inform you we were happy to reinstate it once the correct filter needs and payment method could be determined. Our intention was never to be misleading.

You absolutely did not honor the free trial, you said yo contacted me for clarification and that my response was unclear? what is the part that was not clear? I have the emails I sent you and is pretty clear
That I just want free products and not continue with service? the free products you offered them I did not ask, if I continue with services it depends with how is your service and quality of your products.
My payment method came back with insufficient funds? so that means you tried to charge my credit card? and for what? this is a red flag, and people should be aware and think twice before giving you their credit card numbers.
you clearly communicated your plans to cancel my subscription? No you did not communicate that to me, as I said I have proof of emails received and sent, I am just aware of that through Revdex.com.
You intention was never misleading? probably not, but I am just aware that your company have a lot of bad reviews and several complains that is telling something, perhaps someone is not doing its job right, is time to start considering to replace some employees.
Let me give a clear example: *** offer 1 free filter as trial, and guess what? they actually honor their offer, you should learn from competitors. You want to offer 1 free filter as trial, good honor your offer, you offer more than 1, good honor your offer too.

Our free trial offer is with a subscription to our services, where a credit card is required upon checkout. You would have had to enter payment information when you placed your order initially. How this works, is the first shipment is free, and the subsequent shipments are charged to your credit card. We perform an authorization on the card to ensure that it is valid for the subsequent shipments we will make later. We do not at that time charge the card, as your total for first shipment is $0. This is standard business practice.

Your original 12 filters amounts to a >$200 recurring charge, to which your payment method did not support. As a business, we simply cannot send you $200 worth of free product simply because you would like it, with no valid payment method to charge the subsequent orders. This is covered in our Terms, which you agreed to upon checkout. We're sorry this is not acceptable to you.

The more you are trying to excuse yourself and your company the deeper your are digging a hole.
It is not a standard business practice to perform authorization on credit cards for future shipments, and I can mention lots of examples.
If your business cannot send $200 worth of free product, well do not offer free product. Learn from competitors.

Great company! Makes my life easier knowing that I am getting a great price for the filters I need and they get shipped right to my door every 3 months.

I am not quite sure how I came across FilterEasy, but I took a leap of faith and placed my first order almost two years ago. Since then, life changing out the filter has been a breeze. Every three months, a filter is delivered at my door which reminds me that it's time for a change. Within minutes, the task is usually complete. One time, I had a perfectly good box delivered, but inside the filter was a bit smashed. I contacted FilterEasy and a new filter arrived the next day. Even the cost of the filters are inline with competitors and FilterEasy has saved me many trips to the store, especially the (I forgot to change out the filter again) ones. As long as they are in business, they are in business with me. Thank you FilterEasy!!!

This is such an easy process! I should have done this a long time ago. It's so much easier than trying to find the right size at the store and then they don't always carry it....what a nightmare when you're trying to shop for a family of 6 already. This is so easy...they arrive, you put in the new filter, then forget about it until the next time they arrive! Thanks!
