[They were very argumentative and asked me to sent pictures of damaged items I explained that I recently moved into a new apartment and threw away damaged items My mattress was filthy and I scrubbed it to prevent health issues The only item that I still have is the broken wheel to my portable air conditioner]

First and foremost, on behalf of Sega Transportation we would like to apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered during your move with our companyYour concerns with our customer service and sales team has been duly noted, we take pride in trying to make sure each of our customers have a wonderful experienceAccording to the contract that you signed we estimate that all east coast moves will take 3-BUSINESS daysAs you may know the summer time is the Moving Industries peak season given that the Department of Transportation allows us up BUSINESS days to deliver customers goods from date of pick upYour delivery time frame of June *** falls within our contracted windowAgain we apologize for your bad experience with Sega Transportation and hope that you acceptShould you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact our office

Background: years of military service and subsequent civilian moves, total about moves including eight coast-to-coast re-locations The move with SEGA TRANSPORTATION INCtakes first prize for the worst move in my experience Contracted to move household goods from CT to MI, truck, household, door-to-door, several days drive to deliver Truck contained insufficient wrapping for items More than a week later, when a truck did arrive, it contained about 30% of what left CT! The first items off the truck, a black walnut drop leaf table and a Stickley dressing table were each wrapped in a separate blanket because they were reduced to kindling wood The dining room table, Amish made and sturdy, had the legs removed; one leaf cracked, the frame cracked and hinges so badly damaged that if the legs EVER do show up, the table is unusable A coffee table had its support legs removed, and no sign to date of the legs Of six chairs matching the dining room table, only three were delivered The list of damage goes on, and the list of items not delivered numbers about After several attempts to contact SEGA TRANSPORTATION INC., being put on "hold," with never a return to the call,
leaving messages, we did received information that a truck would drop off the remainder of the household goods When the truck arrived, again, with only a few items (sofas, desks, and a few other pieces), it was obvious that approximately 30% of our shipment was "missing," including chairs, tables, dressers, mattress and box springs, etc., etc., etc Additionally, SEGA TRANSPORTATION INC left items with us that are not ours, we said they were not ours, and requested they be picked up Apparently, mis-delivered items are not a concern of SEGA TRANSPORTATION INCas the items have not been retrieved Repeated attempts to contact SEGA TRANSPORTATION INC have been non-productive In addition to being put on hold, the staff is always in a meeting, or not at work, or if we do talk to an individual we get a promise for a call back that never comes Also, the first delivery that contained household goods not ours, we observed that the numbers used to identify the household goods were the same on our items and those not ours - same colors and same series of numbers! A horror story all the way: if you want the most disorganized, non-communicative, disrespectful of personal and private property, and in no way customer oriented moving company - need I say more?

As a company, we apologize for the communication, or lack there of
Again, This move was minimal size, discounts were given in addition to the 10% refund of the total cost

It's strange that you say that you have not been able to reach anyone in the officeI looked at our call log from the date that you and your husband booked with our company and that seems to not be the caseAccording to our records when a call came in you all spoke with at least one member of our
staffThe last recorded conversation with your husband and Donavan he never mentioned that the move was not a good experience or even that the move was horrible and he never asked for the claims informationIt seems as if you may have mistaken our company for another, every claim that you have stated is not factualIf you do have any damages that need to be claimed the insurance company that handles our claims can be reach at *** *** *I hope I was able to answer your concernsShould you have any questions or need to reach us contact our office at ***Thank you

The business is mistaken about the amount of space my goods used on their truck Because a king size bed, a chair, and a dresser that were accounted for in the original estimate did not in fact get loaded on the truck--I decided not to take them--I used less that the estimated space When the drivers arrived, there were goods belonging to someone else in my "roped off space." They tried to deliver a large bed and a dresser that did not belong to me They are mistakenly counting those items when they calculate my actual space used In addition, the remainder of my missing items were not delivered They did deliver some missing furniture, but three boxes containing personal items have not been deliveredOnce again, they tried to deliver items that do not belong to me The missing boxes contain irreplaceable items such as antique photos, scarves brought back from Europe and the Middle East, and other items purchased abroad They also contain some of my young daughter's itemsAll I really want it for the rest of my stuff to be delivered at this point I want my things I will absolutely file a claim for my damaged goods; I did in fact contact their insurance company to file my claim, and the insurance adjuster has contacted them six times over two weeks, but has not gotten any response She's feeling my pain This is how I was treated for weeks

pay for what your takingIf you have more items you have to pay for the extra space that its taking upWe did work out an adjustment with you as well as a discount because on our side we were late and do take responsibility for that as it doesn't happen oftenAfter discounts and all when we were trying to deliver you simply didn't have the balance to pay, which is why it had to go into storage We did in fact give you discounts for you having more items as well as being late on our side for delivery, but there was still a delivery balance that had to be satisfiedAgain sorry there was nothing else on our side we could do to make you a happy customer

According to the contract signed by the customer we are given business days by the Department of Transportation to deliver a customers goods from the date of pick upAll west coast moves take on average 14-business days for delivery so there is no way that we would guarantee a
delivery for the *** of AugustOnly time a customer is given a guaranteed delivery date is if the customer pays additional fees to accommodate thatIn this case the customer did not pay any additional fees to assure she would receiver her items on the *** of AugustWe ask that all customers plan accordingly during the process of their relocation, and we apologize or any misunderstandingCustomer was delivered within our contracted delivery time frameAs for the damage to the customers car she needs to contact our 3rd party insurance company to file a claimThe claims department can be reached at ###-###-####Any others questions or concerns please contact our officeThank you

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved becauSEIt is UNTRUE and in its content.I have in detail described the happenings which transpired with this companyFirstly it is not logical of me to SEND any person away when all we expected was for this company to complete their promise., which they did not fulfill causing my entire family anguish(witnesses)I have attached texts made to me from AJAIR acknowledging our conversation. I did NOT at any time REFUSE calls from the company.I spoke to Donovan the same day I made this complaint to the Revdex.com he called me within an hour of it being posted( assuming it was posted) Donovan informed me that he was sorry and he would be refunding my deposit after he had spoken to the accounts department on Tuesday after the labor day weekend holidayI asked him how long would it take and he informed me days after thatI have STILL received nothing but this appalling, unprofessional and disgraceful response which I reject as fabrication and lies to keep my money.It is not viably logical that I would sign yet another request for them to do a job of work and then cancel it myself.The point of the first contract being honored at the exact inventory for the same amount was the one where the workers AJAIR REFUSED to do at the price set by the office and was in my home for hours on the phone to hi company back and forth arguing, before he told me he would NOT take this job at this price of 3800.He informed my husband and myself that this was a scam on us as customers by the company to GET THE JOB and change prices laterHE REFUSED THE JOB AND WALKED OUT OF OUR HOMEHe was NOT asked to leave at any timeI was in despair with all arrangements having to be cancelled for painters to come in the next day proved impossible with all my items still in the house.I spent the entire afternoon in tears and on the phone with three different people trying to get a resolution as I was extremely confused with the un- professionalism and disappointed that I had employed a company who insisted on a deposit before doing the job and then when the day of moving comes they refuse and dont complete.By 4pm Donovan had talked me into an entire new contract telling me the first one for $was NOT ENOUGH for the same job of work of packaging my large items which he said was the reason the driver walked out and refused the job he charged me an extra $for thisFeeling in a panic and pushed into a corner to get the job done I felt I had to agree and sign for thisAfter relaying to him what the driver had told me about their company and how uneasy I was feeling with my items being in their care, I was assured that A new CREW WOULD TAKE OVER THE JOBThis NEVER transpired and the same driver called me to let me know he did not have any men to do the job on the day of arrivalI asked him to confirm this via text message which he acknowledged but did not writeI have sent attachments of my texts with AJAIR over days messing us around.However on the *** day of agreed move date the TRUCK driver and workers did NOT arriveANOTHER DAY wastedMY painters had been put off for days in a row and had other commitments so I lost a great deal with them painting my house on a make ready for sale agreement after movers had left on *** which NEVER transpired.After the time they were supposed to arrive the second time but did a NO SHOW, leaving us all in a state of panic because we had to get our things arranged to move out of state where we were due to open our new business in Washington on Sept *** we have had to rearrange time table lost money and wasted precious time on this situation due to having to wait extra days for drivers that had no intention of showing upI felt that they used me and stole my moneyTheir unproffessionalism, whether it be bad communication or for the lack of with their workers is NOT something we should be penalized forI employed them to do a job of work and signed a contract for that purposewhy would I cancel? After the stress and constant aggravated phone calls by rude upper management who shouted at me talked me down, talked over me every-time I tried to explain was was happening, I was intimidated every time I requested a refund and attempeted a resolveMy husband became increasingly upset with the way the company were talking to me with such disrespectHe then spoke to Mike and requested a refund he was told emphatically and rudely that the was NO WAY he would authorize a refund so we might as well forget that and find another day to movewe were so upsetI had called in to the office to complain that they hadn't shown upI kept being told the driver would call meFinally AJAIR called me and merely asked me what the office had told meI relayed the message that they told me they were sending a different crewHe put the phone downThis continued well into the afternoon with us waiting for a new crew to turn upI was then told I had refused the crew who called me earlierIt became exasperating at this point and we knew were were dealing with people who had no intention of helping usThey really were not interested at all in what was going onI dont even believe they knew themselves what was going on.I finally requested for the th time a refund and was told yesThis only came AFTER me writing this compaint to the Revdex.comas it stands now I have received NOTHING. WE have been forced to make alternative arrangements to ensure the safe delivery of our items out of state whereby we can then continue on with our new lives and opening of our store month late.Our only request is for a full and complete refund of our money for $950.00Thank you.
