I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved becauseI did NOT at ANY time reject service.When your manager arrived he was asked a question out of curiosity of "How much more would it cost us to take a few other itemsHe then proceeded to tell us as well the office knew because they were on the phone while we were present and heard the entire convesrastionAs well the office admin are well awareThis person who arrived to check our items(No truck arrived at any time inthe days it took this company to get their act togetherThe Man/Driver "Ajhair" Repeatedly refused to take ANY items which were on the original invoice at the price quotedWe agreed there would be nothing extra and to stick to original invoiceHe told us he would not honor the office quote and refused to do the jobNOT at ANY time did we CANCEL! It does not meet with logic when we were in such a tight corner to moveThe truck simply did not show upThe driver insisted he wouldnt do the job and the last pick up agreed he told us he did not have enough manpower to do the job assigned to do.Obviously at this stage we have to make a decision with a company not conforming or meeting its own standardsIF we had KNOWN days prior this problem was going to arise we would THEN have cancelled and used another more professional company.There is also something called "contract law" and under that stature it covers consumers from acts of unprofessionalism and NOT turning up to do the JOB in a TIMELY mannerTherefore we execute our RIGHT under contract law - for the disappointment and errors which occurred in the administrative offices through lack of communication to their driver or workers and not completing their job of work as promised in the contractThis left us with no other option but to use another company who did the job IMMEDIATELY with no problems becuae the workers and truck driver could not agree on the already agreed set price for the move, leaving us in despair with no help on the date we had arrangedThis day had changed from *** August to *** of September and they still couldnt get it together.We expect, in the very least for this office to refund our deposit due to non completion of services that were never rendered.We will request one last time for this company to act in a fair manner in regard to this situation before we are forced to take legal action for unfair practise -for loss of earnings & compensation for anguish and stress caused to the entire family.This has become a to and fro situation with no effort to remedyAs the injured consumer I would like to hope for a better outcomeI wish that the managers would look at this in the light of day and conceed that they were wrong and refund our moneyI have copies of original invoice and then the second one showing how they suddenly upped the cost of packaging on items which were exactly the same items that had been agreed on originallyThe guy simply didnt want to do the jobWhat are we supposed to do? I was informed the company would send another crew- but they didnt they sent the same person.The contract has been broken by the companyI have sent in attachments to prove on my last response.I will give this one last try before I take legal action in a lawsuit for fraud and theft charges.

finally spoke to someone, but they continue to lie about the location of my belongings and when they will be deliveredAs of today Saturday, April **, I have been without my belongings (everything I own) for months and days.

I was refunded 10% but not ONCE was I told that a guaranteed delivery date would cost more because I would have paid it - I was told that May *** WAS my guaranteed delivery dateI would have paid for a guaranteeI wasn't contacted regularly - I could never get a hold of anyone anytimeCommunication was embarrassingly unprofessionalThe movers arrived at 10PM!! weeks late and one of my very expensive pictures was brokenI am not pleased with the resolution

Don't use this company !!!! Of all the moving companies out there I had the misfortune of using Sega TransportationI blame myself for this because I stupidly didn't look into the company , just went by what they said when they calledOn top of that I had contracted with another company and Sega had me go on line while they were on the phone with me and pointed out all the negatives but *** First lie **assured me since it was less than hours I could get out of the contractThey had handled this many times and the other company couldn't charge me the down payment I was told the other company would SAY I had to pay the down payment but I absolutely wouldn't ESPECIALLY since I used ** ** Guess what > I did have to pay the $to the other company
2nd LieThe agent went on and on about how Sega would insure my things against damage or loss so I didn't have to worryDon't sign anything with out reading everythingThey pointed to the line that I was to sign for the insurance Don't sign the bottom of the insurance section, sign the TOPThe bottom insures for cent per pound3rd LIE > The truck that picked up my things would have SEGA Transportation on it ...unless they changed their name to Budget that was also a lie** I called the company times when I found the date of my closing and didn't get a call backThought they were bogus ! Finally talked to someone and emailed my ph # and address as they asked me toA week went by with them not getting back to me so I called again (luckly) and found that they were driving around with my things but din't have my address or ph #AHHH referred them to my emailOHHH she said let me look at my emailsThey arrived and since I was told when they picked up things a check was fine I started making out a check and was told very loudly he wasn't taken no *** personal check and when I said " what" ??? he repeated it louder
Lots of broken things that were thrown off the truck onto the lawnWhen I said my TV was missing he went behind a pile of other peoples things and brought it out and started unwrapping it in the truck opening while letting it slide toward the ground from 4ft upI had to grab it several timesI am missing boxes and it was the next day I realized my months old Oreck vac was missing tooREMEMBER I stupidly signed the cents on the pound linePROTECT YOURSELF

All the items given to movers we spot onWhen they arrived at NJ home those items would not fit in the space quoted (8'x6') I called Sega and talked to DonavanHe said he would get back to me and never didThe drivers packed the truck in a 8'x12' area but didn't pack to the ceiling (10') This is what they based there new quote onAt that point I added medium boxes and armoire boxes that's allThe price doubled and that's not rightYou are professional movers and under estimated the jobWhen you packed the moving truck to deliver to Florida it arrived and the space was 8' x 9' x 10' highThat's the point I'm making, I feel its only fare to pay for the delivery space taken in the moving van NOT the PItruck that's a different sizeYou need to contact me please to settle thisEvery time I call I get voice mail recording

Looking at the same contract that you are referring to in your last response the contract does not specify your delivery time ONLY pick up dateYes we were a day late with the pick up due to unforeseen reasonsAgain as far as time frames we can not guarantee that the driver will definitely get to each location at that exact timeAnything can happen during transit so we like to inform our customers that the driver will call them when they get closer to the destinationWe apologize you were displeased with the quality of the service and will continue to work on bettering our servicesI hope that I was able to answer all of your concernsThank you

According to the contract that the customer signed on June *** the pick up date is just the first available date for pick upCustomer signed for July *** and days before the move customer called our office and asked that we push back his move date to the *** maybe even later to the ***
Customer told our rep he would call us and let us know what dateSince we never confirmed a p/u date with the customer our dispatch placed the customer on the calendar for July ***There was a delay on our schedule that day and we had to reschedule the customer for the following morning in which we did pick up the customers shipment on July ***It's unfortunate that the customer missed their deadlines but there was no clear line of communication between the customer and our office to insure that those dates were met from our stand pointAs for the price change, when a customer has more items than the allotted space on the estimate the customer is responsible for any additional feesOn behalf of Sega Transport we try to ensure that our customers have a great experience so we apologize for any misunderstanding that may have displeased this customerShould you have any additional questions please contact our officeThank you

According to the contract signed by the customer July [redacted] "Any move cancelled prior to 5 BUSINESS days to the ORIGINAL date of the move, a full refund will be provided. If the move is cancelled within 5 business days or less, no refund will be provided." Customer cancelled on July [redacted] which means...

that the customer falls outside our cancellation policy window. No refund will be issued due to our policy that the customer knowingly agreed and signed for. But Sega Transporation's message via Revdex.com suggests that [redacted] is an insurance company, while the [redacted] site makes clear that MovingClaims is *not* an insurance company but just an administrative support provider to Sega Transport. From the [redacted] website:[redacted] (NETWORLD ENTERPRISES, INC) - TERMS AND CONDITIONS:By agreeing/approving the TERMS AND CONDITIONS I hereby fully understand and agree that Networld Enterprises, Inc. ([redacted]) provides administrative support for the Moving Company.  Networld Enterprises, Inc.’s function is to provide administrative services to the Moving Company which includes documenting compliance with [redacted].    Networld Enterprises, Inc. will collect the claim information, forms, documents, and provide them to the Moving Company along with a recommendation for settlement of the claim based on the valuation coverage option selected by the consumer shipper.  Networld Enterprises, Inc. does not provide legal advice or legal representation.  Networld Enterprises, Inc. is not an insurance company and the employees of Networld Enterprises, Inc. are not acting as insurance adjusters.

 into a new apartment and threw away  damaged items.  My mattress was filthy and I scrubbed it to prevent health issues.  The only item that I still have is the broken wheel to my portable air conditioner. ]

[I spoke with someone in customer service today and clarified that there were 25 boxes total, and only one box was a wardrobe box.  They really want to justify that I used extra space, but they don't have the details right.  I was told by the guys who loaded my things that it "would be obvious" that I had used much less space than indicated on my estimate.  I've never used a moving company before.  I believed him.  He was just confirming what the sales guy, Donovan told me about the binding estimate--this is the most it will cost you; if you use less space, we'll adjust the price.  To minimize the price I moved more things on my own, and of course I'm glad I did give the damage and loss that occurred with this move.  I wish I could have moved it all myself. ]

On behalf of Sega Transport we apologize that you were displeased with our service. We aim to service and leave our customers with a pleasant experience, we appreciate the feedback and will continue to better our quality of service. According to our contract we are given up to 21 business days to deliver a customers goods from date of pick up. You were picked up on July [redacted] and delivered on Aug [redacted] which mean we were 1 (one) day outside of the contracted time frame. By law we are required to pay the customer $25 a day after the 21 day mark. We will have a $25 check mailed out to you. As for your concerns about your missing and/or damaged items you will need to file a claim with our 3rd party insurance provider. Contact information is ###-###-####. According to the estimate that the customer signed she agreed to 22 Med boxes. Looking at the Bill of Lading 22 boxes were picked up with an additional 3 wardrobe boxes in which are 2'x bigger than a large box. So yes she did use additional space on the truck which justifies the additional fees charged. As for the the missing items we have sent a delivery twice to the customers location.
