it is not cost effective to repair, said determination being made by Select, Select maychoose to pay a cash settlement for the irreparable component of the system or appliance. Select is not responsible for installation. The cash settlement shall bein an amount not to exceed the depreciated value of the component/appliance being replaced;Again, depreciation value of $2300 value 7 years old fridge should be more than $1000. How come it looses 95% value in 7 years? This is insane. What kind of depreciation calculator do they use?Also they paid $200 for our 20 years old $450 value microwave.Do they have different calculators for different appliances?

The amount refunded seems quite low considering I only had service for 3 months.  Can they give a break down of how much each month of service costs?

warranty. The "refund" they sent us was only $450.00. I am not paying for the time we had the warranty if they did not provide the service they were supposed to provide during that time.

I am rejecting this response because: All I know is that when I contacted visa They said the funds were there and the reason the charge didn't go through was on your end because the card has worked fine every time it has been used. We even used it to go out to lunch the next day and it worked fine. I understand it is my responsibility to give you updated information about our card but why every time I call I am told that only a member on management can take card info and someone will call me back multiple times I never receive a call. But after my policy lapses  I call and all of a sudden anyone can take my credit card info. I think you guys are letting our policy lapse on purpose.

I am rejecting this response because:Select Home send me reimbursement form with amount of $357.06,but I am not agree to  pay for work was not been done properly, I mean the patch contractor placed on the pipe on 08.21.15 did not hold even half of a day,when tenant called on 08.22.15 nobody came to fix the leakage and this problem began to deteriorate whole house.So,I think the Select home should reimbursed me with the maximum available cap- $500.00 and pay me remaining $ 900.00 from 2 invoices with amount of $1,485.25 that tenants spend for repair of multiple problems which I described in previous letters.

Attached is a copy of the signed customer contract accepting all our terms and conditions. The customer called our office and requested to cancel their contract on 9/13/17. The customers contract was cancelled per section 13.2 of their signed warranty. Below is a breakdown of their...

refund: Charged 2 Months @ $41.67 per Month = $83.34; Add Cancellation Fee of $75.00 = $158.34 ; Also Less Claims Paid/Owed of $0.00 ; Subtracted from original payment of $399.99; Totals a Refund of $241.66. As soon as the customers refund check is issued it will be mailed out to them. No additional funds due at this time.

Select Home Warranty will send all the information to the customer as well as contact them to resolve this matter

We are not sure what the cutomer is trying to say. We did speak to them and they have been approved for the policy limit.

The customer was advised that the issue she was having with the well pump was not a cover component, we also sent the customer an email on 1/26/2016 in order to speak with them further about the claim.We have not heard from the customer since 1/25/2016 regarding this matter.

We did speak with the customer and upped the approval on the claim.

We have approved a full refund and have mailed out a check

Select Home Warranty refunded the customer a pro-rated amount as per the Terms Of Agreement on 12/09/2014.

take care of our complaint (according to their email received it from them on January 5th, 2017).  The owner said today Monday January 9, 2017, that he has never heard about this company, and he do not have any work order or agreement with them, therefore he is not coming to fix our washer. Could you please kindly add this additional information to our response of do not accept the response made by the business to resolve this complaint.

Per the diagnosis received from the technician the customers claim was approved for the maximum allowance of $150. The contractor is being notified of the approval. Please contact them to schedule an appointment for the repairs.

I am rejecting this response because:Based on the company's response, Select is misleading the public by claiming they are offering a home warranty when in fact they are only covering parts....

The company is well aware a reasonable person would assume if they are purchasing a warranty, labor charges would be paid by the company if a repair is approved. For example, if an individual wrecks their car, insurance companies does not tell consumers it will only cover the cost for parts and not labor. Furthermore, Select claims it only covers parts. Therefore, it should not matter what company I use to repair a covered item? The contract states I am to pay a service charge of $45.00 each time a tech is dispatched to my property. Why am I paying for labor and a service fee? Why is Select allowing vendors to double dip and cheat its customers? If what the company is asserting is correct, I should be free to use any licensed company to submit my claim and not be subjected to multiple charges.
