The customer originally purchased this warranty on 09/01/2014, we have provided coverage for the duration of the policy, the customer is not entitled to a full refund, we will issue a pro-rated refund

We have refunded the customer in full

I am rejecting this response because: They are offering for a claim over I believe they have no plan on paying the claim, so now I have to pay it the repair costs So, why buy a warrantee program if they wont pay for the items you bought the program for I feel I've been ripped off

We did speak with the customer and we have let them know they can call the garage door tech to set and appointment

Select Home Warranty has followed the Terms of Agreement in this matter in determining the value of the appliance.See Below:Select’s OptionSelect shall have the sole and exclusive option to:(i) Select the Independent Service Technician to perform repair services;(ii) In the event a covered system or appliance is deemed irreparable or it is not cost effective to repair, Select may replace the system or appliance with a system or appliance of like capacity, the price of which shall not exceed the depreciated value of the system or appliance being replaced;(iii) In lieu of replacing a system or appliance that is deemed irreparable or it is not cost effective to repair, said determination being made by Select, Select may choose to pay a cash settlement for the irreparable component of the system or applianceSelect is not responsible for installationThe cash settlement shall be in an amount not to exceed the depreciated value of the component/appliance being replaced;(iv) Select the manufacturer, make and model of any replacement parts used in the repair of the defective system or appliance; and(v) Obtain a second opinion with regard to the cost of replacement without any additional cost to YouWe apply the information the cusotmer provides along with the diagnosis to calculate the amount that will be offered.Select Home Warranty uses the current market value of any appliance or system and we also take in consideration the value of the repairs

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:They have completly failed to do as they were hired to donot only did they not provide the service they were paid for the "repair Technician", I use the term loosely becasue they refuse to provide proof that the person was licensed or bonded, they sent made the applience completly non fuctional Regards, [redacted]

The customer was refunded for both of their policies on 04/09/2015, the customer was issued a non-discounted, pro-rated refund as per the Terms of Agreement

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Acording to Warranty Company :See Below: This reply says it covers modules, components and parts of the water heater necessary to function! How is the tank that holds water not necessary to the function of a water heater!A water heater is a tank that holds waterThat's 90% of the water heaterThere's no circuit board to replace, no motor to replace, & there's no module to replaceSec is a riddle! This is fraudIf Revdex.com can't resolve this this, I would like to cancel this warranty and I would like a refund Regards, [redacted]

We have tried to reach the customer but have not heard back The customer is not eligible for a full refundThe customer was approved for the policy limit for the claim they placedThe cutomer had placed the claim in the first months of the policy Please see section of the terms"For additional coverage options in the first three months a $repair/replacement allowance will be paid to the customerThis repair/replacement allowance will increase to $after the first three months of coverageWe did approved the customer for $towards the claim which is above the policy limitThe customer elected to cancel and is not eligible for a full refund We will waive the cancellation fee for the customer if they wish to cancelWhether the customer wants to keep the policy or cancel , In both situations we have gone above the policy terms

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Again there was NO LEAK IN THE SYSTEMAs you should know a dirty coil will often cause the Freon to appear over charged then a tech may recover Freon to make it appear properly chargedThen when the coil is cleaned it is now low on FreonFreon get ADJUSTEDWith leaking freon there would be an ice which was not in my case and adding amount of freon would way more than Regards, [redacted]

We have reached out to the customer since 6/with no responseWe will process a refund for the customer according tot he terms of the policy

Our techs in the area are booked upWe will waive any cancellation fees and give the customer a full refund back to the credit card

We spoke with the customer and made arrangements to get his claim processed

We have already gone above the policy for the customer by not charging a cancellation fee and giving the refund at the discounted rateAccording to the policy the refund should have been $We have refunded the customer $
