Customers cancellation request has been submitted for processing

The customer accepted to be reimbursed $and signed the reimbursement form yesterdayA check is scheduled to be issued for this claim already

I am rejecting this response because: I purchased the coverage on July 2014as per their advertisement they offered year + month free, so my coverage still valid up tosept 2015, I submitted the claim on august and they didn't even send a technician to fix water heatorAs per the contract shw they still honour the claim up to sept 2015.so I would like to get $which I paid to purchase their home warranty

The customers check is currently being issuedThe check should be issued and mailed out to the customer Monday morningThe customer will be emailed the check number as soon as the check is printed

We spoke with the customer and re-explained the coverageThey will decide if they want to cancel or keep the policyWe will waive the cancellation fee if they decide to cancel

Thank you so much for your efforts As a result of your contact, Select Home Warranty did pay what is dueWe did find out that they haven't registered with the State of Indiana and the Attorney General is looking into their right to transact business in the State of Indiana When this policy is up in October, we certainly won't renew but will find another company to provide extended warranty service

The customer has already been informed on numerous occasions that their pool claim was denied per section (see below)Customer filed a claim during the first days at which time this claim would not be coveredSelect will not be responsible for matching a system or appliances color, brand, or dimensions and only is responsible for repairing and/or replacing systems or appliances of similar capacity and efficiencyThe following guidelines will be implemented to provide a repair/replacement allowanceFor heating or cooling equipment (hvac), in the first three months of coverage a $repair/replacement allowance will be paid to the customerThis repair/replacement allowance will increase to $after the first three months of coverageFor appliances, plumbing and electrical(non-heating or cooling) in the first three months a $repair/replacement allowance will be paid to the customerThis repair/replacement allowance will increase to $after the first three months of coverageFor additional coverage options in the first three months a $repair/replacement allowance will be paid to the customerThis repair/replacement allowance will increase to $after the first three months of coverageIn the event a part is not available, Select's responsibility is to reimburse for the value of the part up to the policy limitsIf Freon coverage is selected as an option the limit is $for the first months of coverage and $for the remainder of the contract.Furthermore you agree that during the first days of coverage, no coverage will be provided for replacement of entire systems or appliances of Evaporator Coils, condenser coilsCompressors, control boards, motors of any kind No additional funds are due at this time

Select Home Warranty has received a cancellation request form the customer as of 1/19/2015, it is currently being processed hthe customer should receive a pro - rated refund in the next 5- business days

Customer has been approved for a $reimbursement towards their claim which has been acceptedAs soon as the signed reimbursement form is received we will have a check mailed out

The customer was informed that maintenance records are required in order to continue with the claimPlease refer to section where Select can request copies of years maintenance recordsOnce the maintenance records are received we can review and proceed with the claim accordingly

The customer has a cap on their garage door opener, we advised the cusotmer after paying the technician they have a total of left to be paid out on the claim.The customer was not satisfied with this response and requested to cancel their policy, the total amount of the job is 187.43, after paying the the customer would only have had to pay 82.43, they still requested to cancel.The cusotmer was issued a pro-rated refund on 09/07/as per the Terms of Agreement, which the cusotmer signed and initialed and sent back to us stating that they agree to all of terms of the contract with Select Home Warranty

Select Home Warranty issues refund from the day that thepolicy is paid for not from the day the policy goes into effect.We also state that when a refund is issued we charge a non-discountedratedFor the months we provided coverage as well as the cancellationfeeCancellation by You.You may cancel this Agreement within thirty (30) days from the Order Date ofthis Agreement, as set forth on the schedule page accompanying this Agreement.In the event you cancel within the thirty (30) day period, the You shall beentitled to a full refund if and only if, no service has been provided underthe contractAfter the thirtieth day, you may receive a refund pro-rated atthe non-discounted annual plan costA $cancellation fee will be charged andany service costs incurred by Select Home WarrantyWe have sent technicians out to the customers’ residence toprovide service for the Air Conditioning unit.Select Home Warranty would be more than happy to provide more information regarding the refund process to the customer

The customer was issued a full refund directly back to their card on 6/19/

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I had filed the complaint on 8/9/and the case number is [redacted] I had communicated with you by responding to the Revdex.com e-mail complaintThe day after I submitted the complaint I was assigned a technician which came out the same day I was contactedThe technician looked at the dryer for approximately five minutes, collected the service fee, and then stated that a part needed to ordered for the dryer and permission was needed from Select Home Warranty company The technician said that I would be contacted in a few days, which was notI spent a lot of money on that home warranty which is coming up on expiration and that was the first time it was being usedI also lost my money to the technician [redacted] Regards, [redacted] ***
