I am rejecting this responseThis response IS NOT a RESOLUTIONIt is the promise of an explanation(We have sent you a detailed response of the investigation and any actions we may have taken.) It is an instruction for me to wait (Please allow 7-days for that response to be received through the mail.) I have heard that before from Barclay’s too many times. It is an instruction for me to contact them directly if I have questions after receiving their letters. (If you do not receive the detailed response or have additional questions, please contact our office…) Contacting Barclay’s directly is a PROVEN avenue of no response on their part. I did not get any adequate response from Barclay’s until I had contacted the Revdex.com, an entity OUTSIDE of their organization.
I will say it again, it is only after I contacted the Revdex.com that I received a response. On July 10, I received a phone call from ***, in the Office of the President, notifying me that they had found the funds, corrected the account, and that she would follow up with me by phone, no later than July Staying consistent with every other representative from Barclay’s with whom I had spoken, *** never called me. Now, July 24, two weeks after ***’s phone call to me, the only response I receive is a letter instructing me to wait another two weeks for an explanation, not a resolutionIt has been over two months that this issue has gone on. During that time, I was on the phone for hours over the course of phone calls to customer service, including two that I also had my bank on the line for conference calls. I was told repeatedly that they would have the matter resolved within 24-hours, and that the representative would call me to let me that it had been fixed. Not one of the representatives I spoke with called me back. The issue continued to be unresolved as Barclay’s made a string of errors on my account, with not one representative ever calling me as they said they would to keep me updated or explain why they continued to miss-post debits and credits to my account. It was only after I realized that the customer service representatives’ personal and professional assurances of rectification were false, that I went to the Revdex.com, and I will say again, it is only AFTER I took that action, that I received any response, and that one was not followed up in the way that I was told it would be eitherSo I repeat, this response is inadequate and I reject it
