This response is what they continually do.  How are we to be guaranteed that they will...

actually keep an appointment that we schedule with them and completely restore our pool deck so it will be usable.  They always cancel their appointments On the same day they are suppose to show up..  I want them to put the date and time in writing through the Revdex.com.

Review: We have tried several times to work with [redacted] of Sharper Contracting to get out pool deck repainted. The original contract date was November 19,2012. We have been working with this company to get this deck repainted. The paint on the cool deck was not properly placed, and there are several areas, where the paint has literally lifted from the deck surface. The paint sticks to what ever you place on top of it. We have not been able to use our pool deck since they began work on it. [redacted] knows that there is a problem with this paint and one of his employees, [redacted], I believe was his name. He said that this sometimes occurs, when the paint is not mixed correctly. [redacted] of course said that this couldn't be. So he sends out this guy to paint spots on my pool deck. Now there are more areas, that have different color paint, I told them when they put the paint on there that it was not correct. He said that it would blend in. Well that is over 5 months ago and you can still see the swipes from the paint brush. They have scheduled dates over the course of the last 6 months and most recently on Monday, February 24, 2014 which they called an cancelled with another excuse. This is unsatisfactory customer service. They are obviously using a delay ploy type tactic. This matter needs to be corrected, so I can enjoy my pool deck. My son graduated last year and we couldn't have our guest on the the pool deck area, and now its a year later and we have more events and graduations, and we still cannot use our pool deck.Desired Settlement: It is obviously that they are not willing to come to my home and repaint this deck like their employees have said. It appears that their workmanship warranty is bogus. Therefore, I am asking for a full refund for the painting of this pool deck. In the amount of 1,935.00 plus tax at the rate of 10.2 percent which was what I paid in 2012. Total $1935.00 + 197.37 tax = $2,132.37. This refund is requested so I can hire someone else to properly paint my pool deck in a timely fashion.

I made an appt with Sharp Contracting over a week in advance because I only have one day during the work week in order to get everything done. That one day is very important to me as it is usually jam packed full of appts etc. Not only did they NOT show up they never even called. I called once when the sales rep was 15 minutes late and notified them that he wasn't here yet. I expected a call back to let me know that status of his arrival. I never did receive a call so I called at the 45 min late mark and they had no recollection of me calling 30 minutes earlier. Not only will I NOT reschedule my appt but I will not be referring this company to anyone. Thanks for messing up my day.

The difference between Sharp Contracting and other contractors is: The other companies have told me what they think I need and how to spend my money but Sharp Contracting listened to what I wanted and was able to better fit my needs and saved me money. I will use them again

Review: Sharp was contracted to restore my outdoor patio. In March they received over $8,000 for this repair. The work was inadequate with areas uncovered, paint drip marks and within 2 weeks peeling. I have been attempting to have them evaluate and repair/complete project for over 6 months. They came out for the first time today after initial job and refuse to fix areas of inadequate coverage and paint drip. They patched the areas peeling and I was told no further work would be provided. This is unacceptable business practice.Desired Settlement: Completion of job, resolution of areas where paint does not cover prior patio with different coloring. Sanding and revision of areas with drips of paint.

Sharp Contracting installed a built in BBQ, fire pit, & a front and back yard stamped concrete patio the project was completed on time and on budget. My husben have recommend this company to all our friends & family.

Was never explained on how long will take to start working on my back yard. They called me one day to collect the deposit, deposit was paid and Sharp Contractic LLC didn't start working on the back yard till 5 weeks after. No one explained to me how long will take. I paid my deposit 04/01/2014 and they started on 05/05/2014 and on top they want me to pay more than 50% of the total project on the first day when the project was not even half done.

I do not accept this response from Sharp contracting, reference complaint #[redacted], as it is misleading. The crux of the matter is Sharp Contracting agreed to landscaping and concrete work at my residence on September 9th, 2015, after accepting my $2,000 deposit. This was after coming to my house to walk the property,go over the work to be done, taking measurements & photos. The project was to be completed the week of November 23, 2015 & it was not. At that time, I over paid Sharp Contracting for the work they did, expecting they would complete the entire project & within a timely fashion. However, this was not the case. Finally, on January 22, 2016, the GM "Alan" came to my house to go over issues with the concrete work & to schedule a completion date for the entire project. The GM was unprofessional, rude, antagonistic & he told me the landscaping work was "too dangerous" for his workers & he did not want to complete the project. Despite this, I tried to work with him, so as the work could be completed, and I even offered a suggestion as to how they could complete the work. He verbally agreed to call me on January 26, 2016, to let me know one way or the other if they could or would do the job or come to an agreement on how much Sharp Contracting owed for the over payment. The 26th came & went & I did not hear from the GM or Sharp Contracting. I waited the rest of the week & still no word. After that, I decided not to do business with this company any longer and to seek a refund of my over payment. The GM called me on March 11, 2016 & I briefly spoke to him on the phone. I advised him, I no longer want to do business with him or Sharp Contracting & we could handle this matter through a third party, the Revdex.com. He stated I had to do business with him & threatened if I would not, then he would just show up at my house. He also threatened to put a lien on my home & stated it could "get messy" if lawyers got involved. At that point, I advised him not to come on my property. I will not tolerate threats or intimidation tactics from him or Sharp Contracting. I have absolutely no problem resolving this matter through the courts if necessary. I do want my over payment refunded. Sharp Contracting can mail me a letter of conditions to end any further business.

In the past 27 years in business with over 18500 customers and having installed more than 5.5 million sq/ft of products in residential homes Sharp Contracting is committed to helping resolve any concerns our customers may have. Our records show that our staff has left 7 messages to inform customer of schedule date to complete contracted work from 1/25/2016 to 2/26/2016 with no response from customer other than his Revdex.com complaint. Customers not responding to our messages in regards to scheduling is something we have not seen in our 27 years in business. However if the customer feels like the best resolve is a refund for the uncompleted work we are willing to do that, we will send customer a revised contract that will allow for refund of uncompleted work.

Sharp Contracting did an amazing job putting stamped concrete in our front & back yard. They were easy to work with and extremely helpful through out the process. We were amazed how hard their crews worked in the heat of summer, they really know what they are doing and it showed. We love how everything looks & could not be happier!

Review: Sharp Contracting restored our patio and pool deck in late Sept early Oct 2014 and missed a couple of area's when fixing cracks and painting the patio; the first time someone came out to look at the area's that needed correcting, he told us the paint couldn't be matched because it was a custom color, he supervisor then came out a month or so later and said he could fix it and we shouldn't have been told they couldn't match the paint. Before they scheduled time to repair their work we had our pool resurfaced (March 2015) and the paint on the patio was damaged by masking tape in some area's around the pool. Sharp Contracting came out and said the only way to correct the damages was to redo the entire patio and pool deck for a FEE (never correcting their first mistakes). They gave us a quote back in July 2015 and we agreed to the price (since we already had so much money invested). They scheduled a date and canceled it.

Every time I call them to see when they are coming out they tell me "they are working on the schedule". I have called them many times since July and I keep getting the same story (we are working on the schedule".

We now have more damage to the patio due to poor quality of product and we would like a refund so we can have another company come out and redo the entire pool deck/patio.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund of $1,090.21 so we can have another company come out and redo the entire pool deck/patio.

Review: Sharp contracting was hired to lay a stamped concrete surface on my patio and pool area. The job took most of 2013 to complete and they never really completed it to our satistaction. The surface pattern that we chose at Sharps display was not the pattern that we received. I have photos of the pattern and color that we chose and I have photos of the finished product. There workmanship was really poor. The quality that we were promised was not there. It took 30 days to get someone to look at a problem, no matter how larger or small it may be. It was incredibly dificult to get any customer service. They came out several times to repair cracks , chips , broken drains ect. It was incredibly dificult to get a forman or owner of the company to resolve my issues. What I did get was the owners brother [redacted]. He agreed that the color was way off and assured my that he would get it fixed. The fix was to darken the whole surface and try to re stain it to look like what we purchased.

We had to settle for a completly different surface than we purchased. It rained shortly after they completed the last repair and the dirt spots from the rain stuck to the sealer that they applied to the surface. Several days later white patches appeard below the sealer all around the pool and patio area. It took Sharp another month to send [redacted] back to try and get me to live wth the stains. He made every excuse possible for the stains. He even said that Chlorine my have drifed out of the pool and mixed with the concrete. Excuse after excuse with no solution. [redacted] asked me to tell him how to fix the problem. I sent email after email begging these people to please fix my problems. Last visit [redacted] made to my residense he was cocky and dismissive reguarding my problem. He was insulting to both my wife and myself. He even mentioned getting physical or fighting at one point. He hastled me for 40 minutes then when I and when I was irritated enough he broke out his camera phone and started acting like he was in danger. Like he wasnt provoking me at all. He ran with his tail between his legs all way out to the street holding his phone over his shoulder to make it look like I was chasing him. We spoke in the street and he agreed that his men put sealer on my surface without adding an inhibitor to prevent the moisture and minerals form staining the surface. Our solution was for him to try and repair a small area of our patio to see if they could repair it, all [redacted] wanted to do was to make us drive to his office to argue more about his companies workmanship. He emailed sent letters everything except get his crew over to my house and repair the floor. [redacted] would rather argue with the customer and act like a tough guy rather than find a solution. When a customer stands up to this tactics he jumps up and says that he cant help you cause he is scared for his safety. Bottom line is I paid over five grand for a product that was never delivered. This company has many compaints that mirror mine.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a refund check issued in for the amount that it would cost a third party to repair the damage that Sharp did to my patio. Sharp does not have a sollution to the problem. Thier solluton is to badger the customer over a year long span untill the customer gives up. My sollution is to give the consumer what he paid for .

Sharp Contracting did a wonderful job helping us create our dream back yard. We were impressed with everything they did & how they treated us. Thanks Again!

Sharp Contracting does not pay attention to the details, and as a result I've had to call them out several times to do basic work that should have been done the first time.

I feel sorry for the secretary that has to take calls from dissatisfied customers.

I had scheduled them to come out and fix fading in the colored cement. I moved chairs and padio furniture and cleaned the patio (I didn't want them to just paint over dust and grime without cleaning it),TWICE they made up excuses to reschedule. I love when you plan your day accordingly and they call and reschedule.

The last time they came out they said it was going to take all day. Two guys showed up and restained some areas. After two hours they said they would be back and never showed up.

When I called to complain, I was connected to the general manager. He was rude, disrespectful, and argumentative he was with me on the phone. He then rescheduled another visit which to find out for the second time now they need to reschedule.

This is not how to do business with customers.

The different crews need better quality control. Send someone to inspect the work. Have more than one person to do touch ups. Have better communication with the customer. Very BASIC.

As of today I'm still waiting to have them reschedule to have the work done right.

Ten years ago I had Sharp Contracting come and design my back yard. They installed a patio, curbing for the grass area and small 12'' retaining wall for a flower bed. I was very impressed with the crew and the process we went through to have the work done. I recently had Sharp contracting come back and do my front yard. The curb appeal is amazing. I would recommend them to anyone who is value conscious and wants a product that lasts.

Start of work was considerably longer than the sales rep initially indicated. I was told they would contact me to schedule an appt. A week later, I had to call and set up the appt. They came out to apply the thin coat with stain that I asked for on my rear covered patio. The stain began to bubble on application before they left and I was told it would dissipate and stain would dry evenly. 5 days later the bubbles hardened and stayed and the stain was very uneven across the entire patio. I called to rectify issue and they said they would put a work order in and a follow up 3 weeks later. I told them it was unacceptable as I was unhappy with the patio and I had already waited 3 weeks longer for them to come out than what I was originally told. By this time everything had been paid in full. The company was dismissive of my concerns. The manager was incredibly unhelpful and rude. They came out to "fix" the issue 5 days later after an arduous argument with the manager. The patio remains the same. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I was very disappointed with the completed work and shocked about their careless attitude toward my concerns.

We had Sharp Contracting install over 2000 sq/ft of stamped concrete at our home in Chandler, everything went great from estimate to install. Everyone that comes to our front door always mentions they love our stamped concrete entryway.
