We have received and reviewed the consumer complaint claiming that an account that we reported to the consumer reporting agencies has been paid in full and has not been removed from these agenciesUpon review of the account we show any balance owed was satisfied in installments, with the last
installment being paid on 08/03/We have requested removal from the consumer reporting agencies due to a specific arrangement that was agreed upon for this particular consumer, however please keep in mind that it could take days or greater for this to be updated on their end which is beyond our controlWe hope we have helped the consumer resolve this complaint. We are a professional debt collector, however this communication is for the sole purpose of responding to a dispute and is NOT an attempt to collect a debt

We have received and reviewed the complaint filed by Mr***. The referenced account was paid in full directly to *** on or around 6/27/and was closed in our office as paid in full 6/27/ Unfortunately we cannot remove the reporting from the consumer reporting
agencies as that would be against our agreement with the creditor and the credit bureaus. We have, however, requested that the consumer reporting agencies update the account to reflect as closed and paid in full. Consumer reporting agencies may take days or longer to update their files and that is beyond our control. We have submitted an online update to try to expedite this process. A receipt letter has also been mailed to the consumer indicating that the account is paid in full. We hope that this helps resolve the consumer complaint

We have already notified the consumer reporting agencies that the account is disputedIf the consumer has any questions or would like to discuss payment options, the compliance department can be reached directly at ***@sourcerm.com or ***. I will accept the companies response at this timeIf this item is not immediately removed I will file a complaint with the United States Attorney General's Office Consumer Fraud Department

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and I accept itI have mailed a payment of $today and request a letter upon receipt of payment and documentation that the account has not been placed on my credit file

I am rejecting this response because: Source RM did not adequately or lawfully respond to my initial communication within the statutory time allowed by federal law (FCRA)Source RM's inadequate response to my initial communication and request pursuant to FCRA 623/FACTA meets the definition of a "non-response", therefore, the only legal action that can be made by them at this time is to instruct the bureaus to remove the account from my credit file prior to continuing their reporting for this alleged accountSource RM profits commercially by violating consumer rights in this manner and othersThe only acceptable and lawful outcome is for Source RM to remove their illegal reporting of an invalid account from my credit fileAn invoice printout does not substantiate the information they're reporting on this accountFCRA 623/FACTA IS NOT A REQUEST FOR VALIDATIONUnder the aforementioned titles they are required to provide PROOF OF THE ACURRACY OF THE INFORMATION THEY'RE REPORTINGThis can only be done by showing where I have personally made performance on this account using a negotiable instrument belonging to an account owned by me at a financial institution that is not affiliated with Source RMSource RM failed to perform under the requirement of the FCRA, FACTA, ECOA, and FCBAREMOVE THE ENTRY FROM MY FILESource RM also failed to notify the bureaus that this entry is being disputed by the consumer which is yet another violation of federal law

We have received and reviewed the consumer complaint According to our records, *** advised the consumer to fill out and return a fraud packet in August On 6/8/2017, our office also mailed the consumer a fraud packet for completion, but it was never returned The address
provided on the consumer complaint is the same address used to open the account with *** and there was usage on the account, therefore we do not believe this account is a result of identity theftAs the information reported to the consumer reporting agencies appears accurate and complete, we have not removed the reporting but have made sure that the account is updated as disputedThe attached verification with documentation has been provided to help the consumer understand the charges on the account This information has also been mailed to the consumer's addressIf there are any questions about the information provided, the consumer can contact the compliance department directly at *** or ***@sourcerm.com We are a professional debt collector attempting to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose

We have received and reviewed the consumer complaint claiming that an account reported to the consumer reporting agencies should be removed because it was paid in full. According to the creditor, they mailed the consumer a letter stating that the referenced account was getting ready to go to a
collection agency on 2/5/to the same address as listed on this complaint. The account was placed in our office by the creditor on 2/10/2017. A letter notifying the consumer that the account was placed in our office and notifying her of her right to dispute the debt was mailed to her on 2/15/2017. On 5/8/2017, we received a dispute via TransUnion claiming that the account belonged to another individual with the same or a similar name. In response, we verified we had reached the correct consumer and the charges on the account were valid. We mailed verification of the debt to the consumer on the same day. On 5/15/2017, one week later, we received a check for the balance in full. We did not speak to the consumer prior to receiving payment on the account. Our first conversation with the consumer was on 9/25/where the consumer was requesting that the account be removed from her credit because she paid in full. The manager explained to her that we do not remove for payment and she was not satisfied with his response. Per our agreement with the consumer reporting agencies and the creditor, we cannot remove an account from the consumer reporting agencies based on payment of the account. The account is reported accurately as paid in full We have mailed a letter to the consumer stating that the account was paid in full for her records. If she has additional questions, she is welcome to contact the Compliance Department at *** or ***@sourcerm.com. We are a professional debt collector; however this communication is for the sole purpose of responding to the consumer complaint and is NOT an attempt to collect a debt

I am rejecting this response because:
As promised I want this removed from all credit bureaus negatively and at its entirety .If you are professional you will removed this from all credit bureaus .I had the contract with *** and not you but you collected the money for them .The representative I spoke with when I settled advised it will be paid and settled and advised it will be removed from all credit bureaus .Please remove it

We have received and reviewed the complaint filed by Ms***. On 10/17/2016, Ms*** spoke to one of our representatives and agreed to pay a settlement of $on 10/21/2016. A letter notifying the consumer that the account had been closed as settled in full was mailed to the
consumer on 10/25/per her request. One or more disputes were received via the consumer reporting agencies shortly after payment. The account was therefore updated as disputed with the consumer reporting agencies and the information reported was confirmed as accurate. Unfortunately we cannot remove the reporting from the consumer reporting agencies as that would be against our agreement with the creditor and the credit bureaus. Per the consumer’s request, we have mailed documentation from the creditor to the consumer at the address provided on this complaint to help her understand the original balance owed to the creditor. Once again, however, the account has been paid as settled in full and is closed in our office. Collection efforts on the account have therefore ceased. We hope that this helps resolve the consumer complaint. We are a professional debt collector; however this communication is for the sole purpose of responding to the consumer complaint and is NOT an attempt to collect a debt

I am rejecting this response because:
In the response where it states they previuosly sent me validation or verification of the debt with their company is completely falseI have yet to receive any information validating and verifying the account

We have received and reviewed Ms***’s complaint regarding her conversations with our office on 6/8/2017. We apologize that Ms*** was upset by her interactions with our office and appreciate her bringing them to our attention. We have reviewed all call recordings and addressed
any issues with the representatives involved. Per the consumer’s request, we submitted an online deletion request to the consumer reporting agencies to expedite the process of removing any reporting of the consumer account that is was recalled from our office. We mailed a copy of the removal request to the consumer at the address provided on this complaint per request. We have also checked with each of the major consumer reporting agencies and they have confirmed that the listing has been removed. We hope that this helps in resolving the consumer’s complaint. Please have Ms*** reach out to the compliance department directly at *** or ***@sourcerm.com if she has any questions about the information provided

Again, we are not required to have a contract with the consumer as we do not own the debt; the consumer's contract was with the creditor and a copy of that contract has been provided to her The consumer did pay the settlement of $and the account was closed per agreement We also notified the creditor that the account was closed Our office did not advise the consumer that it would be removed from the consumer reporting agencies Per our agreement with the creditor and with the consumer reporting agencies, the account was accurately updated to reflect that the account was closed and paid in full for less than the full balance (settled) We cannot remove the account from the consumer reporting agencies as that would be against our contract with them and with our creditor If the consumer has any additional questions she is welcome to contact the compliance department directly using the information provided on the letter We are a professional debt collector; however this communication is for the sole purpose of responding to the consumer complaint and is NOT an attempt to collect a debt
