and by whom.  My queries have come back with a negative result, meaning that we have no record of your telephone number being called by our telemarketing companies or departments nor do we have a record with your name attached to any "lead" in our databases.  
If you could provide the date, times and telephone numbers which you were contacted, then it would give me more to go on.

We are saddened to hear that you've decided to cancel your purchase contract
with...

Spinnaker Resorts. I read through your reasons and wanted to ensure that
we clear up a few of points which you touched on.   
1) In your Cancellation acknowledgment it is very clear that you have a 5 day
right of rescission to your contract. South Carolina mandates this rescission
period via State Statutes and therefore there is no possibility that we would
fail to refund your monies.  If this was a standard practice of ours then
there would be no Spinnaker Resorts in existence because we would have been
shut down by the State of South Carolina a long time ago.   
2) You stated in your "complaint" that you were told there were tiers
of memberships in order to obtain better or more access to certain inventory
via the get-a-way program through Interval international but when you called
Interval International they told you that all members have the same access with
the exception of Platinum Members; as they have access to Inventory before
other Members.  Our records reflect that with the purchase you were given
the Platinum Membership and therefore you would have the additional benefit of
access to inventory before other members.  In our opinion having access to
Inventory before anyone else is essentially the same thing as having better or
more access than other members.  It appears there was more of a
misunderstanding that occurred.   
3) You mentioned also our Revdex.com Rating being an F rating.  What people don't
understand about the rating system with the Revdex.com is ratings are not created
equal.  The truth is that depending on the type of business and the
services you offer has a lot to do with where your rating begins.  Keep in
mind that Spinnaker Resorts have approximately 50,000 owners and if you
consider the minor amount of complaints shown on the Revdex.com’s website, coupled
with the fact that more than half of those are actually about Vendors to which
we obtain vacation travelers  to come see
our resorts. 
In closing, by law we have to refund your monies within 20 days from the date
you postmarked your letter.  You will be
refunded well within the statutory guidelines. We are sorry that a misunderstanding
caused you to change your mind about purchasing.  We feel , however, that
you were a bit premature with your complaint considering that you have not been
wronged in anyway and you failed to allow the outcome of your cancellation
request to come to fruition.  So we
appreciate your time and effort in posting your perception of the events on
line when a simple email communication to our offices would have sufficed; as you
would have received a refund without filing this complaint.

Please advise me of the following specific details:
1) what dates and times did you call our offices? 
2) what dates and times did our personnel call you? 
3) what telephone numbers did you call FROM? (your numbers)
4) what telephone numbers did you call to reach us? 
5) do you know the name of the person who allegedly called you a "Deadbeat" ?
Once I obtain this information I should be able to track down the calls and listen to the recorded conversations which transpired.  I also will be contacting the accounts receivable manager and request a full audit of your maintenance fee account to determine if you are eligible for a refund as you have requested. 
Please respond as soon as possible with the answers to the questions listed above and any other information you believe may help with my investigation.
