I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved
because:
It is the same answer that does not assist from their Knowledgebase on the web. I do not have another email address and their answer does not apply. Essentially, they provided the standard answer putting the onus back on me without truly helping again. It is a useless response.

Back in my account was hacked and turned into a family accountThere was no email stating it had been changed or any verification they just went on and charged meThey didn't refund the entire amount that was charged and gave me a free monthWhoever hacked my account changed my name to Juan PerezWhen I contacted customer service they told me it was impossible to change the account name after the account had been createdReallywell then how was it changed in the first place?
I was forced to waste my time creating a new account and having all my info transferred simply to change my name to the correct name and they sent me a blog about keeping my account safeThis isn't an isolated case I've met several people who had the same thing happen to them but Spotify has taken zero ownership of it and gave crappy customer service in return

I got an email offer from Spotify this morning at 11am, that if I sign up to a Family Premium account that I will get a free Google Home Mini I clicked on the link to sign up...and then I'm told after I've signed up that it's not available right now When I contacted them, they affirmed that this offer is not available When I contacted their live support, they said there was absolutely no way I could have known prior to signing up that this offer wasn't available Even though they just sent the email minutes prior They are still falsely advertising this, and I signed up to a premium membership under a pretense

I purchased a gift card for Spotify for $After purchasing I tried to use the gift card but Spotify said that the gift card could not be used for my specific subscription which is a family planIt could only be used for a specific full priced subscriptionI've never heard of a company being able to see a gift card and then restrict it's usage in the fine printIt strikes me as deceptive and unfair and illegal at least in the state of CaliforniaAny help would be greatly appreciated

You resolved this same problem for me by contacting them over a year agoI had cancelled my service back in June or July of last year and yet they continued to take money from my accountMy bank said I would have to change my account number, etcbefore they could stop taking money out since I had given them the informationAfter hearing from you they actually gave me a refund and I assumed the problem was solved yet here it is over a year later and I just saw on my online banking site that a payment of $for their is pendingI didn't know what to do and I think this was the first time they have done this again but I'll have to go over records more carefullyI went to spottily site and it said next payment due October ** as I believe my bank is already processing the September paymentI want all my information taken from them as they are obviously scam artistsI have not used their service since I received the refund, with your help over a year agoI don't want to have to c

My girlfriend and I opened a paid premium Spotify account about months ago Firstly, let me say that my complaint is not about the service, when it works, it's great; but in my experience it does not work About a month after my first payment, right before my second payment came out, our premium membership just magically disappeared and we started receiving ads and lost the ability to listen off-line and save music After a very long wait we were finally able to get a customer service rep to respond to us through their chat box option She apologized and told us we would need to set up a new account, and that she would switch the premium over to the new account In doing so ALL of our saved music, playlists, and radio stations were lost, and we had to start over from scratch Not ideal, but not a deal breaker We dealt with it and were once again happy with the service after we got all of our songs back and were able to listen again whenever/where ever we were About a month

Last night someone used my stolen credit card number and charged about $on SpotifyAs of right now, the charge is only a "pending pre-authorization" and I am trying to get it cancelled before it goes throughI have tried every outlet to reach a representative from this company to report this fraudulent activity
They have no phone number, the only methods to contact a representative is through Twitter, through email, or through a community forumI have tried each one and I have not received any response at all

I have tried multiple times to reach out to Spotify they have overcharged me several times The account should be listed as follows:
