Steve Nash lost my paperwork for cancelling my subscription, then proceeded to charge me for two extra months, despite me contacting them multiple times and asking them to cancel my membership
Timeline:
I filed the original cancellation in person weeks ago as of the last week in November
Found out they lost the paperwork weeks ago and was reassured by them that they would cancel it immediately and the they would backdate the cancellation The person at the front desk was extremely apologetic
weeks ago I saw charges on my credit card, after which I called in and was reassured that this would be taken care of and a refund would be processed
And now the membership still has not been cancelled, and Pauline S*** is refusing to offer me a refund that was previously promised me

I did the two-week free trial at Steve NashI really enjoyed it, but did not end up getting a membership because of the priceI instead got a memebership at Club Nearly one month after my free trial at Steve Nash, they called to see how I enjoyed it and if I had received my free personal training sessionI told them I didn't because no one had told me of itSo I wanted to redeem it and set up an appointmentI loved my trainer and was highly interested in doing personal trainingI was only in Vancouver for another weeks, before I had to go back to Missouri for universityUnfortunately, to do personal training at Steve Nash, you have to have a full membershipThey have an enrollement fee of nearly $and then bi-weekly paymentsOn top of that I had to pay for personal training sessionsI asked specifically and multiple times if I could just get a monthly pass and then cancel it at the end of the summer, when I returned to schoolThe General Manager of the Marine Drive

They are not a good gymThey continue to charge my card since I have cancelled with themI would never recommend them to anyoneVery rude pplI am no longer a customer since May 4, Yet they continue to charge me when I was informed they would not anymore the day I cancelled

Sukhi one of the employ lured me in getting a personal training session worth $considering their days refund policy, I called in before taking any lessons for the refund and was told to come in to talk about itwhen I went in gave them all the reasons I had to opt for not taking the sessions like I have to go to India since my grandma passed away and I need that money backplus I am a student and can't really afford thatI even told him that I wanna try losing weight own my own before actually opting for a trainerI was there for about one and a half hour but the fitness manager said none of the reasons I gave are enoughso finally I made an offer to do half the sessions and asked for half the money back which he agreed toAt the end of the sessions, I didn't get any results as I expected and they asked me if I wanted to increase the sessions but I said no and asked for my refund but the manager said that the refund got denied for some reasonI told them since I am goin

I canceled years ago as I moved out of province, they continued to charge me and wouldn't stopI changed my credit card, and they managed to get it somehow and continued to charge meNow, they have sent collections - even though I've cancelled many times with them

Beginning in December I have tried multiple times to cancel my fitness membership and yet I continue to be billed by Steve Nash FitnessMy first attempt was a phone call and I was told I could not cancel over the phone and that I had to send a email, which I didA while later I checked by visa bill and found they were still charging my visaI called again and essentially got the run around being transferred from one person to anotherI again sent them an email to cancel my membership and I called multiple times but again got the run aroundFinally in July, I called my bank to block the charges for Steve Nash Fitness World RichmondThis worked for the month of August but in Sept then resumed charging my card under a different company name: Fitness World Admin SurreyThese charges went through for Sept, Oct and November

Steve Nash been trying to collect money from my*** son who's only Last Nov/I signed up for myself and I paid my membershipThe guy who helped me out has offered to extend the membership to my son for few days try out which he said this is just a try out and there's no strings attachedThis few days try out for my son was also paid up front I didn't realize their rep also signed him up for the membership which I didn't agree I told the guy I don't want to sign him up because we live far and I'm not so sure whether he will come to this place or not so I said to him no but he *** me to buy the try out for few days since there isn't strings attached Next time I know, they've been sending my son invoices & calling him on phone several times and also I got phone calls from them asking for my new credit card infoThey even tried to deduct money from my bank times which I never authorizedGood thing my bank notified me *** and they didn't process the

I was told when I signed up that my bi-weekly fee would be $after days because my wife signed up the same time as meNo contract was printed on-siteTwo months later I was still getting charged the sameI call the branch and not only did they pass me off to customer service without an apology, but my bi-weekly rate is higher than what I was told when I signed up!
So Steve Nash didn't do their due diligence by activating the reduced bi-weekly rate, ok no big dealThe person who signed me up verbally gave me the wrong rate, bit of a red flag
But then I call customer service and was treated like I was the one at fault? No empathy whatsoever and I was being as kind about the whole situation as I could given the circumstance, ***
Strike one: wrong rates given to me when I signed up
Strike two: It took two months and several follow up calls to activate the reduced rate
Strike three: *** customer service

I cancelled my membership months agoThis was confirmed by a staff member at the locationI was then contacted and told my membership was not cancelled and I owed moneyI reluctantly paidThey told me to send an email to their cancellation department to request the cancellation againI did thisThey called me again a couple of weeks later and said my membership was not cancelled and I owed more moneyI couldn't believe itI said I was not paying it and I wanted to speak with a manager or supervisorThe gentleman on the phone said there wasn't oneHard to believeI told him I did everything that was asked of me and more to have my membership cancelledHe said they didn't receive my emailI couldn't believe itI sent it AGAINThis time I got a response saying they could not locate my membershipI sent a reply with as much information as I could (full name, date of birth, address, etc) so they could cancel my membershipI went on to write that I wanted to file a complaintNo responseToday I got another message form Steve Nash Fitness saying that "it was very important that I contact them at Head Office so they can update my information"From the beginning of this experience they have called over timesCan't make this stuff upTerrible experience

I went to the Howe stLocation to cancel my account on the 23rd of Feb and the person at the counter greeted me and asked me if I needed help, he was busy with people coming in and out of the gymI told him I needed to cancel my account and he gave me a small sheet of paper which I filled out and paid the fees I needed to pay, after which I was told I would once again get charged for my second half of the month as it takes days to cancelAlso the person lost my cancellation paperwork and never filled it either
I leave and next thing I know, im in the next month with nearly $unpaid on my accountI just mention I change my bank card ***So I discussed with the gym attendant and he said call the head officeBy this point I've been getting calls from Steve Nash on a daily basis ***
Now after talked to the multiple people at both the head office and the billing department I still owe $to Steve Nash including the annual f

On October **, I called Steve Nash Fitnessworld Kingsway location to cancel my membership, I was told to call and mail a cancellation letter to head officeIon October **, I then called, wrote and mailed a letter to cancel my membership with fitness world I recently discovered that I was still being billed, I also recievwe a call from head office due to billing issues (I had put a block payment at the bank) They told me that they either lost the letter or never received one and want proof that I sent it (I was never told that it had to be mailed registered mail) they also said I could email them to cancel They are now refusing to accept my email and attached photocopy of the original letter
1) I want reimbursement for what they have been illegally billing me
2) I want the membership cancelled

When wanting to sign up for an annual membership at Steve Nash Fitness world in Victoria for an annual membership I was shown on their screen that said company claims I was in debt The original contact was months switching to month to month after that timeI called and ended up cancelling by email days prior to the end date considering the matter closedAs I assumed it was closed and the membership cancelled I stopped going to the gym and years later do not have the email that was sentI contacted Steve Nash to settle this matter and though they were offering reduced sums to be paid I feel it is unfair for me to have to give over hard earned money because of their error

I started a membership with steve nash on *** I was in a job competition and asked if I canceled within months if I would have to pay the annual fee to the person who signed me upI asked them because on the steve nash website it stated that you pay it months after starting
They stated that as long as I canceled within the first months that I wouldnt have to pay it, as it would have been less than months
I ended up getting the job, the place has a gym so I didnt need this gym membership
I canceled on ***, a month and a half in to the membership, so it would go for another monthPutting it at roughly months of serviceSo I did cancel within the first months
There website: ***
CLEARLY states:
"ANNUAL CLUB ENHANCEMENT FEE
$payable months after membership has activated"
They did not provide me with a physical or digital copy of any agreement until I brought up the fact

Signed up for a Day Free Trial, upon arrival to finish signing up for the trial was immediately shown plans and pressured into signing up BEFORE even getting to complete the trialWith assurance of being able to cancel within the given parameters, as highly suggested signed up for the year membership, before the opportunity to even start the free trialShortly after signing up due to personal matters there is no longer the ability to utilize the membershipAs stated on their website," A member may cancel an agreement from the day you join the contract until days after you receive a copy of the agreement." to this day the contract still has not been received and numerous attempts to require the contract have been made with no success

I signed a contract for personal training sessions and haven't completed all of them in the agreed timeConsumer protection act says that if the services are not rendered or unacceptable I can have my money back I'm still missing sessions

Prior to signing up for a Steve Nash Membership under a one year contract, I had confirmed with staff members that I can refer my friend who uses a*** University (***) multi-pass to receive a referral discountThe discount is promotional and involves $off monthly membership dues per referral, up to a maximum of memberships ($12), with eligibility ending on March 31, Upon signing up, and encouraging my friend to join the Steve Nash Fitness World at their location on Interurban Way, I was informed that this referral was not possible because the friend uses a *** multi-passI contacted the billing and services department who confirmed my eligibility for the referral discountHowever, the department notified me that I must speak to member servicesUpon calling member services, I was once again informed that I am not eligible because the *** passes are pre-issued and paid for by the UniversityI was not made aware of this prior to signing upIn addition

I initially received an SMS from Steve Nash fitness to sign up for the exact same amount that I paid for my last membershipI called the richmond location and spoke with kjasonwho set me upWe agreed on the terms and he made me sit with to administrative workers to fill out the paperwork etcI immediately realized that they were inexperienced and didn't understand the system wellI made sure that they filled everything g out correctly by letting them know about the dealA couple months down the road I was checking my credit card bill and realized that they were double charging meI called immediate to talk to JasonI was told that Jason is now working at the other Richmond locationThe lady on the phone gave me the headquarters number to deal with somebody thereI emailed and tried to resolve the issue with HQ but they were not helpful at all and told me to talk to JasonI attempted calling Jason several times until a few month later I finally got him on the phoneHe was awa

I was a customer of SN Fitness club back in and I was really happy with the service that I've receivedRecently, I decided to sign up with the fitness club again and was contacted with Port Coquitlam location manager, ***
I've paid in full for future months with my credit card
For some reason, I was charged a small amount on my previous credit card that I've used in I've spoke with the manager in regards to the matter multiple times*** never got to me with an answer and was very unprofessionalAfter waiting for roughly months, he got back to me with an answer saying the amount was credited back to my SN fitness accountI've advised him to credit back to my previous Credit card but was deniedThe customer service that I've received from the manager was unacceptableHe promised to follow up with me which he never didFor this reason, I would never recommend Steve Nash club to my peers

Hi , I came from India months ago as a Permanent resident and I was looking to join a fitness centre My friend recommended me to join Steve Nash club in burnaby I went there and told them I want to join Steve Nash , after telling me everything they told me it's done and they just need my signature on an admission form As I thought it's just an admission form I gave my signature there and came back Later on I discovered I didn't had time for going to gym When I went back to cancel my membership , the guy took my money , that is , 45$ and told me it's all over Now I am getting calls from stavenash head office daily and they are telling me that my rejection has been cancelled as I was signed into a year contract with Steve Nash When I joined , I wasn't even made aware that it was a contract and the guy didn't even ask me if I am ready for the contract or not , I thought it's just an admission form so I signed without reading it Nor did they gave me any copy of my contr

I signed up for a membership in Nov of for a club that was to open in December As an incentive to sign up before the facility was completed, the joining fee and annual club enhancement fee for the first year were waivedThere were delays and the club did not actually open until mid/end January As a good gesture towards customers, February dues were waived (as confirmed by the member services manager)
I recently cancelled my membership and after an email exchange with customer service was told there would be no charge to me on March as my last month had been prepaidImagine my surprise when the annual club enhancement fee was taken from my account on March My contract states that this fee is due June 1st for enrollment dates of January, Feb, or MarchI spoke to the manager of membership services who told me that my enrollment date was Dec 1, as this was listed as my dues start date on my original contractI explained that this could not be held up to
