I cancelled my membership years ago at Steve Nash on BroadwayI talked to a couple of people there but of course now I can't remember their nameThinking that I could trust these people to execute a very simple task of cancelling a membership I did not keep any records for cancelling it
I didn't notice until this year, because until recently they didn't say Steve Nash on their billing, that I had been charged monthly for the last years
Of course I contacted them right away only to be met with immediate attitude from someone at head officeI sent two unanswered emails to their credit department and when I called back to follow up they said they didn't get them even though I got automatic reply confirmation emails to let me know they received it
Long long story short, they insist that because I cannot prove I cancelled it they *** stated that they do not have to refund my money
Okay, let's start with the fact that they entered my information incorrectly and called m

I cancelled my membership with giving one month notice at SN sports clubI submitted my cancellation request on ***The Steve Nash sports club sent me a bill of **for their annual maintenance fee. They explain that the fee's withdraw date was *** and it is included in the contracthowever , I made a one year contract with SNI disputed the fee ,for I did not use any gyms of Steve Nash after my membership cancellation request. They refused to not charge me thoughI believe I must not have been charged the fee

I have a very serious concern with the security and privacy of my account information At the Kelowna Steve Nash Fitness
I was approached by someone who I barely know while I was at my workThis individual
stated that he was shown my account by a friend of his who worked for Steve Nash in KelownaI
feel that this is a violation of my privacyThis employee of the Kelowna Steve Nash Fitness accessed my account for non
work related reasons without my consent and disclosed that information to an individual of the
publicThis individual then approached me in my place of work with this information
The complaint was submitted to the Company at the beginning of April
There have been some conversation back and forth as we identified the individual involvedIt was concluded that the individual had quit prior to all this coming to light
I then attempted to contact the company with regards to how they intend to keep this from happening again to me or other clientsI r

I signed up with Steve Nash Fitness world in December of last yearMy membership number is ***I only signed up for a year and only to use the one gym with a personal trainerAfter a year my contract was over, I stopped going to the gymI never heard from anyone thereUntil the end of February, when I started receiving calls and overdue noticesThe company says after the contract is over it goes into a automatic month to month renewal contractThis was not expressed to me at the time of me signing up for my membershipEven though, I spent hours asking the sales associates that I only want this for a year*** I cancelled my membership in writing via email after receiving these calls and have express that it is negative billing of them to do this to clientsHowever, they say there is no way around this***

In November and December of they have been taking cash payments from me (for my monthly membership fee) and in addition to that also *** charging my mom's credit card on the sideIn November they charged me three times - I paid in cash, after that my boyfriend paid them in cash (in person), he wanted to do it as a surprise for me, as I was struggling financially, and they actually asked him to pay way more (by $more on top of the actual amount)In December I paid them in cash, days later they charged my mom's credit card again*** The other important detail is that for the last several months, since October 2015, they have been charging the credit card for one amount (several dollars more) but asking for another amount when I was paying by cash
Several weeks ago I have contacted their billings/payments departmentThe guy whom I talked to said he will pass on all the information and my message to *** (their Manager), a

The business is charging me an "ANNUAL ENHANCEMENT FEE" even though I cancelled my membership after two months due to an injury

I first went to Steve Nash Kelowna Sept 9/for a free week, which I never actually received as the rep signed me up right away
I cancelled my membership Nov 29/and was told my regular $bi-weekly payments would come out for DecemberI was not told of any other charges by the rep, nor did it state that on the form she gave me
On December my account was debited the yearly enhancement fee of $which caused *** an NSF fee of $
Again, I was not told this fee would come out and it doesn't even make sense as I will no longer be using the gym's facilitiesLast year's came out Dec when I had been a member for a little less than four months
I spoke to a woman who deals with payments who told me there is nothing she can do, she can't talk to head office on my behalf so I asked her to call while I was in her office, which she didThen I was told by Rene at Head Office there is nothing she can do except waive the rest o

I had signed up for personal training on June 28th On July 10, I messaged my trainer to let him know I am experiencing financial hardships and and more unexpected expenses and can not make the payments and wish to cancel the sessions I had also paid $on credit card as a deposit He advised to contact head office I emailed head office jUy asI had no access computer, I called and emailed again the next dayI recieved an email I believe Tuesday that its a contract and I had to cancel within days My misunderstanding..I thought business days, therefore I was over by days I told them my situation that I am in real financial dilemma and no way I can make payments and also due to personal schedule etc...I can not literally pay for these They then emailed and said they will forward concern to the manager of where I signed up The manager contacted me and said he can not cancel the contract, and to keep in touch with head office I emailed them times yesterda

Steve Nash Fitness clubs in Langley re-instated a membership, with no notification to myself, and proceeded in making withdrawls from my account using account information provided for direct payroll deposit only via void cheque I originally signed up for membership in at the Abbotsford location on a corporate membership with my husband (now ex husband) and payments were agreed to be withdrawn from his ***, which is now cancelled I then added on access at the Langley location for an additional monthly fee In I began employment with Steve Nash Fitness as a receptionist, I was asked to sign a form cancelling the membership, which it was for both my ex husband and I for the duration of my employment At the time we were separating and I had established my own personal chequing account and he cancelled the *** I also provided a void cheque to Steve Nash Fitness Langley authorizing direct deposit only In I concluded employment with Steve Nash FitnessA withdrawl

I received a phone call from a Steve Nash Sales/Fitness Associate by the name of *** in October He was trying to sell me a membership over the phoneI explained to *** that I have been off work since January for medical reasons, so paying a large sum of money for an annual gym membership is not viable I told *** that my medical condition is unpredictable and that I have been receiving weekly treatment in the past year For all those reasons, purchasing an annual membership is definitely not appropriate considering the high membership cost, and the fact that my medical condition is severe and not knowing how long it is going to persist I declined ***'s offer of the gym membership that he was trying to sell to me
*** was very persistent, but I kept telling him that the membership was too expensive and I do not know if I can attend the gym regularly because of my medical condition
*** then told me that there was an online deal offered on the Steven Nas

This is *** *** who went to Steve Nash sports club(***) on 01/27/with my mum *** *** and we became the members at that time
On 03/05/2016, I went to Steve Nash to cancel my mum's plan because we are going back to *** soon for several months and she thinks she cannot continue doing exercise, and also she has a problem with her knees these days
However, ***, the guy who guided us to be the members, told us that my mum cannot cancel the plan because our plans are 1-year plan so she cannot cancel it until 02/08/
I am so shocked and angryFirstly, *** and the general manager ***, only told me that I could cancel within the first days and get refund, but they didn't tell me that after days, I cannot cancel it !! I chose the bi-weekly plan was because I was not sure whether my mum can keep going or not so if she cannot keep going I can cancel it immediately, if they could tell me the true situation before, I wouldn't let my mum join the club!

I enrolled my three sons into the fitness program over two years agoSteve Nash management asked for ** so monthly payment is automatedI realized after months or so that they were charging extra feesI brought it to their management and nothing was done
My older son cancelled his contract about five months ago but they kept on sending him the invoices and once again without my consent charged my ** againAlso they wont let him into the gym
They always refer me to head office there is one girl would nt listen at all

I cancelled my membership on june
When I went in to fill out the cancellation from, I was told that I was billed for the annual membership june of I said why do I have to pay for the whole year when i'm cancelling!! it just doesn't make sense paying for something that I won't use...Full YEAR
I had someone from billing department contacting me and telling me that I HAVE to pay the annual fee because they require cancellation notice!!! This absolutely doesn't make senseI refuse to pay and he said they will send me to collection agencyWhat a rip off

Steve Nash Clubs overcharges and continues to keep my credit card information on file despite revoking authorization of use and is unwilling to accept that I have moved out of province and therefore am entitled to cancel my membership

I joined Steve Nash on what I believed was a trial basis with my then boyfriendAfter six months, completely dissatisfied with what I was told/promised by Steve Nash, I cancelled and my boyfriend followed immediately afterWe are eye-witnesses to each other's cancellation at the gym; except that his membership was cancelled and mine never wasWe were informed that upon handing in our membership cards and meeting with the GM, that we were done with Steve NashThat's the way that this is supposed to work
Now, Steve Nash is saying that I never cancelled and using an old form I signed in as "proof" that I have a current contractGood grief
What world are we living in when someone shaking hands, handing in a membership card, and having a witness on hand to verify isn't good enough? Apparently I needed a hand-written signed letter to cancel, despite me never being told this when I leftDespite not having a hand-written letter turned in, my boyfriend's membership was cance

I signed up for a membership on *** and thr sales associate gave me this too good to be true deal where I didnt have to pay until *** however since then I have been charged every two weeks the fees plus additional fees randomly placed on top of thatI have spoken to several managers at the location im at (***) and none of them will give me a straight answerI was told that I would get a refund cheque and that the payments would stop until ***However, they did not stop and I did not get a refund cheque I asked againand they gave me a number that goes to member services and this number goes straight to voice mail each timeI called head office and apparently the only people you can speak with are the billing department who cannot help in this matterThe man I spoke to just continued to quote *** contract I signedEven though I was never given any paper work from the sales associate ***) and she just had me sign an electronic p

My fiancé and I went into the Park Royal branch and got a tour of the brand new vicinity back in AugustWe originally wanted to sign up for a pre-pay plan where you pay for the whole gym membership for x amount of months up frontIt makes it cheaper in the long runThey had told us the promo of waiving the enrolment fee ($200') was ending that day and we had to sign up for a bi-weekly payment of $C explained to us that they are currently trying to create pre-pay plans one would be $for months which is $a month and it would include x amount of personal training sessionsThen after the months the rate would lower to about $a monthShe also cautioned us and said that since it was a new branch they were not sure when they would unveil the plans but they were hoping by SeptemberWe got the seal of approval from the GM Darya G*** as wellWe signed up under the understanding that we were guaranteed the switch over and reassured that when the pre-pay plans were

Steve Nash basically sold a membership to me and during the initial conversations with the agent, the term would be the year term as per the agreement and no billings would be made subsequent to that The business continued charging on a monthly basis A cancellation request was made in February and no response was received
