Hello - this chair does not have a warranty.  However, we certainly stand behind our products.   Please return this to the store for inspection.   The store will then determine the best resolution.

I have spent another hour on the phone trying to reach ikea in regards to this complaint and when they answered after an hour on hold they could not help me at all and had no solution for a resolution. I attempted to call the number back that called me yesterday while I was driving and the message left had no telephone ext. For the person trying to contact me. Once again ikea fails at quality customer service and I wasted even more time.

I am rejecting this response because:That was a different bed frame for my family . Like I mentioned on my last email , we bought lots of furniture from IKEA, our all family is ikea customer.   I have the bed frame,slat base,and the mid beam.  I can simply bring the items back to the IKEA store on Katy freeway where bought our all furniture. We are not happy with this item and do not want to keep it .. Please let me know when I can bring them back and get my refund.  Thank you
