I have been truly blessed by this amazing Business. This company is a Godsend for me as I am not able to work a regular job due it my disability. It enables me to work from home to earn a great income and help others do so. I have never had any problems at all with them.

I am very disappointed with my experience with Stylist Solutions. I thought it was THE opportunity that I had been looking for from people just like me. Unfortunately stylist solutions exploits the very group, it suggest that its helping. I even have my doubts that its black owned. I also suspect some of the positive reviews being fake!

Its nothing more than a MLM scheme. I should have known better when my concerns were not directly addressed before I made a payment. At the time there was only one negative review/complaint; one that Stylist Solutions had responded to, so I ignored it; chalking it up to someone who had not made any sales. They push more for you to recruit other is just like you rather than assist with marketing and sales. They provide cookie cutter sites. Everyone sites look the same except the name. I have never had a customer to contact me about a product, shipping, nothing; despite the fact that I added my contact information for customers service. I have built sites in the past, so I know it can be redirected.

I have also successfully operated a e-commerce store, so I should have known better. I think I wanted so badly for this to work for black women, I ignored all the red flags. Shame on you Stylist Solutions. After several months of tremendous marketing effort and investing, I decided to throw in the towel. When I inquired about discontinuing my membership, they never even seemed concerned, not a sad to see you go , no feed back. Stylist Solutions did cancel without incident, but no follow up either. I do not recommend this company to do business with or purchase product from.

If you want to operate your own business, then just do that. Find a wholesaler, then move your own product.

We respect and encourage our current and former store owners to share their experience with our company, it's their right. However, Ms. review contains numerous inaccuracies and falsehoods, and what we would determine as frustration at her inability to make her business successful. Therefore, we would like to address her claims in detail as to better inform anyone, regardless of ethnicity, how we operate as a company and distributor.

Claim: Unfortunately stylist solutions exploits the very group, it suggest that its helping. I even have my doubts that its black owned.

SS Rebuttal: We are a 100% Black owned company, but we ARE NOT a company that only sells or partner with black people. We started this business to help stylists, beauty enthusiasts, and OTC store owners of ALL races. Moreover, as a Black Owned business, we understand that our business acumen will be greatly scrutinized, especially by those of our own race. Therefore, we go above and beyond to please our brand partners, store owners, and retail/wholesale consumers.

Claim: I also suspect some of the positive reviews being fake!

Rebuttal: We have NEVER posted or solicited a fake review on our company, like most businesses, we do ask our customers/store owners to leave a Google or Facebook review.

Claim: It's nothing more than a MLM scheme. They push more for you to recruit other is just like you rather than assist with marketing and sales.

SS Rebuttal: We ARE NOT an MLM company. We do offer referral bonuses to those who CHOOSE to participate in the Affiliate Program. The truth of the matter is that very few store owners choose to participate in the program, it is not, and has never been a requirement. The program was created to allow store owners an opportunity to generate revenue as they market their site and business.

Claim: I have never had a customer to contact me about a product, shipping, nothing; despite the fact that I added my contact information for customers service.

SS Rebuttal: The contact information posted on sites are not links, therefore it's impossible to be redirected.

Claim: They provide cookie cutter sites. Everyone sites look the same except the name. I have built sites in the past, so I know it can be redirected. I have also successfully operated a e-commerce store, so I should have known better.:

SS Rebuttal: We provide a robust fully editable website template to our Enterprise store owners. If Ms. site looked similar to other sites, it's because she elected not to edit her site. With her stated experience in web development, she should have no problem editing her site, we also provide training videos.

Claim: When I inquired about discontinuing my membership, they never even seemed concerned, not a sad to see you go, no feed back.

SS Rebuttal: Unfortunately, we do not have the support staff to consult with every business owner that elects to close their business. We must focus on those owners that are actively working their business.

Summary: We operate a 100% legit business as a beauty distributor and e-commerce company. We offer anyone with an affinity for beauty the opportunity to start an online beauty business for free, forever. Any store owner that elects to upgrade their free store to a paid subscription store, is doing so at their own discretion. We DO NOT guarantee that any of our store owners will receive sales through their store. We provide the inventory, editable e-commerce site (Enterprise Level), FREE marketing tools, a support peer community and access to wholesale products. Since 2016, we have shipped over 1 million beauty products to our store owner's customers in all 50 states and U.S territories. I doubt that this would be possible if the opportunity we provide was a scam, or if many of our store owners were not achieving the success that Ms. claims was not possible.

Thank you. You proclaim not to have the support staff to offer follow up's for individuals who decide to terminate their stores; yet you have the time to reply to this complaint in a lengthy, well-crafted, personalized document. You should not take so much pride in trying to discredit past associates, its not a good look. This was my personal experience and in my opinion. I have the right to that. Again, in my opinion Stylist Solutions dedicates most of its energy into recruiting their target market (who I believe are African American Women) than maintaining active stores. May be I misunderstood in the Face Book Groups when we were told to focus on building our team under us "because that is where you will make your money". or when we were told that after so many people were signed up, you would release new products, or even when we had to pay to be able to offer free shipping to our customers. May be this is a great opportunity for the hundreds of stores you have pulling in sales, its just not for me. This is a great business model. Stylist Solutions will definitely make money. I applaud your success, its completely genius. I just so happen to believe its a new accelerated version of MLM.

I paid for the enterprise rate and the system is still asking me to pay that rate again plus another $49.99. I spoke with Kassandra via email and she was suppose to look into the situation, but has not followed up with me or has not answered any of my emails. All I want right now is a refund, so I can deactivate my account. This has been an ongoing situation since Nov 02,2019.

On10/18,the Stylish Solutions package arrived at my home already demaged. The co. have failed to resolve this problem.USPS

Again, the USPS#XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XX packaged arrived at my home demaged already. The box was soaked with liquid hair product. On 10/18, the same day the packaged arrived, I tried to contact the company by phone. However, the phone# was unreliable b/c I couldn't even leave a message. Then, the site is not forthcoming even the possibility of a live chat was not reliable. Now, there was a input"place to fill-in information in hopes that someone from the company would reach out. Of the course of waiting, I lefted 2 messages or so to reach out, and still no response. I have emails related to this company. The USPS tracking emails revealed that Stylish Solutions received the packaged back on, 10/27. I still have not yet heard from the company.
Now, I took the company advise to order a product that would be 20% off. This is due to the fact that I agreed to a online store profile of on a 90 day basis. The name that I gave the store is SAY's Beauty. Due to this matter, I would like the company to opt me out. Of final resolve, I would like the product that I ordered re sent. Urgent reponse

Desired Outcome

I would like the company to resend what I ordered. And I want the company to opt me out of the online store 90 day basis as individualized, Say's Beauty. I would the changes validated by an email or emails

We take every precaution to protect packages and label them as fragile, to ensure they're handled with care by the USPS. However, packages do get damaged during transport. This particular package was not received by our company until 11/12/2019. The tracking information provided by the customer, list the package arriving at our P.O Box on Saturday, November 9, 2019. Due to the Veterans day, the package was not retrieved until November 12, 2019.

Nonetheless, we have filed a damage claim with the USPS. Also, unfortunately, this product is on back order and not available for reshipping to the customer. Therefore, we have refunded the client in full to card ending 6579.

We do not offer a 90 day trial nor do we offer an incentive to sign-up, the program is a 60-day free trial available with no credit card. The 20% off referenced by the customer is a one-time purchase coupon. Per the customers request, we have terminated access to the free store.

Yes, I accept there response. And I am thankful for you, Revdex.com, this was the best reference to get a response.
This could have been avoided if the company would of let me know about the product being on back order and the USPS factor.
The true of there matter is that the company didnt reach out to me at all. And there so-called status of contact was non-existance as such.
Futhermore, the company only listed facts' rather giving a formal apology.
In regard to the termination of the store, Say'Beauty, I was excited about this venture beforehand. However, this ordeal changed everything.
And when I read the Stylist Solutions' terms & conditions perhaps somewhat lapse in days, it was clear that I had to cancel the subscription. So, I am satisfied if the company have terminated the store for me.
As a former CSR, I know that it takes diligence to make sure the customers are balanced to a degree.
So, this company might want to consider having a legitimate phone system in place of adherring to their customer's needs.
All in all, I hope Stylist Solutions make adequate moves to ensure extraordinary success.

Business is a pyramid scheme, I was conned out of over $250.00
In April of 2019 I received in a message through Facebook asking if I would be interested in opening my own online beauty supply store. I was given a code to put in when I signed up thinking it was a discount code. I paid $100 in May 2019 and then $50 per month to "own" a beauty supply website. We were encouraged to advertise owning your own online beauty supply and for the 1st and 3rd person you signed up you would receive a commission of $150 and this would be considered your "downline". The person that signed you up "upline" would receive $150.00 commission from the 2nd and 4th person that you signed up after that whoever you sign up you receive nothing.Stylist Solutions focus is getting people that sign on to sign up more people. They tend not to explain how to market your business to actually sale beauty products. The products have "wholesale" and "retail" pricing, You receive a payment of the difference between the wholesale and retail price when someone purchases from your store. A significant amount of products have the same wholesale and retail value meaning if someone purchases these items from your store you do not receive any compensation at all. In the four months I had signed up I sold over $300.00 in products and made $17.00. It is impossible to make a significant amount of money selling products. The only way to make money through Stylist Solutions is by signing on new recruits to open their own online beauty supply store.

The business is a scam and should be shut down and they should refund everyone's money.

Ms. assessment of our company's processes, pricing model, and operating procedures are grossly inaccurate. We are a wholesale beauty distribution company offering hair care products, styling tools, and beauty accessories to beauty professionals, resellers, and OTC stores.

We also offer a monthly subscription e-commerce program that allows entrepreneurs the opportunity to have their own branded beauty supply store. Our company handles 100% of the order fulfillment, customer service, and payment processing. The store owners receive commissions from the sales originating on their e-commerce store and are paid bi-monthly. We offer two programs; one program is $9.99 per month and the other is $49.99. Ms. on her own accord, signed-up for the latter. We also have a free 60-day trial, which requires no credit card to start. The free trial is intended to allow store owners ample time to understand the business and determine if this opportunity is right for them.

We offer an Affiliate Program that allows store owners to earn referral bonuses for referring other store owners. However, it's an incentive, not a requirement and most of our stores do not participate. The stated referral bonus amount Ms. stated is inaccurate, we offer a $50 referral bonus, not $150. Also, every Enterprise store receives the same amount.

Ms. stated that it's impossible to make a significant amount of money. We make no claims and/or guarantees that any of our store owners will make a significant amount of money. However, we do have a plethora of store owners who do make money using our program every day. Ms. inaccurately stated that we do not provide training. We have numerous training videos, weekly sales calls, and a robust Facebook support group. To the best of our knowledge, Ms. never took advantage of any of our training material. In our opinion, Ms. is upset that she was no able to make money from our program during the 90 days she was a store owner.

We operate a legitimate business enjoyed by hundreds of store owners and thousands of customers. For many, Stylist Solutions is their lone source of income and they're thriving working the same program that Ms. had unfettered access.

I have been with Stylist Solutions for almost a year now & my experience have been positive, quality products, shipping in a timely matter, the support & training is excellent for my team members. My commission is always paid on time which also covers my monthly website fee.

Since I started with Stylist Solutions in October of 2018, my experience has been positive. I've been able to start an Online Hair and Beauty Supply Store, and build residual income from that. This company has created a platform and an opportunity to
own your own business. They provide the training needed to succeed, they also listen to the feedback from their partners and continue to make this opportunity work for those who choose to take advantage of it. I have had nothing but great experiences with Stylist Solutions I started my online store in January and anything and everything that I needed to help me become successful they have provided they are very Professional and also very active in helping everyone that joins this company. I signed up with them in January of this year and to be honest it is one of the best business decisions I have made, there is multiple ways to make money with the business at hand and the training itself is explanatory. They offer videos and conference calls, and while I myself took the initiative to breakdown the program into a format that is easy to read realize that it is a self motivated, self starting business that you get to market anyway you choose. I have only purchased from myself 3 times and that does not overcede the profit that I have made by people shopping on my site, I am searchable within any search engine out there, and when I do have questions, they are answered within a timely manner to myself and what I consider reasonable timing for such a growing business, I rarely don't get the answer I am looking for. My affiliate program is based off of efforts of my own and they help build that as well, again best decision as for a business and an online business at that. Being a wholesale distribution center that will allow you to open an online Beauty Supply Store and have access to the products to distribute at retail is amazing. There may be some bumps and creaks and times, I get that, but you'd have to ask yourself what growing business doesn't. Very impressed overall with Stylist Solutions and the platform.

It very much is an MLM and a pyramid scheme! Any "opportunity" that pays more to recruit than to sell is a pyramid scheme! The director is always on camera with her cleavage out, she's always smacking when she speak, they will erase your comments if you even try to say something truthful in defense of someone else and they don't even have a physical location! The location they have online is for a mailing service. Very ghetto and unprofessional people with no customer service skills and a horrible business practice like other MLM companies that are also pyramid schemes!

They should be shut down immediately.

They are an MLM business Very unprofessional now that they have grown, you will not get paid for any of your sale nor commission due to you. The reps are rude and unprofessional the director is very unprofessional and can barely speak. People call it a business I call it a scam. Your not making sales in this business it is so heavily saturated on social media so in the group, they encourage you to sign up more rep in order to get more product added to your website. I did not sign up for rep I signed up for the wholesale program. I have not been paid for my commission. I have contacted their support team, no answer back for weeks. They are saying this is a Beauty Supply Online e-commerce business but it is a Pyramid business they only focus on adding more people. Their diva reps post a picture of their dashboard but in reality, the sale they are showing is stuff that they have purchased themselves and the commission show is due to the reps they have signed up so you are not making any money off sales your making money off reps. This is why people do not support a black-owned business. They just add people do not train them how to work the business but take the money and close them out if you ask for your payment. Shut them down now.

I opened an online business for a beauty supply online store. I paid $99.98 for the online beauty supply website. I also paid $20 for my domain name which is www.***.com. I made this purchase online on 12/24/18. It took them a day to activate my paid site. However, I first opened up the online store which was the free version. I decided to sign up for the paid store to be able to offer more products. I also started to advertise online and paid for advertising right away. I have my advertising results and how many people I was able to reach was over 2,700 people with my advertising in a total of 8 days. I notified stylists solutions on 12/24/18 about having trouble seeing the order that I made on my site on 12/24/18. I spoke with a company representative
by the name of* by email. She asked me for the order number and said she would look into it. I provided the order number, however she never responded back to me. I noticed on 12/28/18 that I had at least 7 orders. The orders were placed from areas that were consistent with my marketing campaign. The orders totaled around $800. I spoke with a company representative by the name of *** /*** by email on 12/28/18 and advised her that my orders were not showing any longer on my back office. She gave me another sign in than the one originally assigned to me. I told her the whole thing sounds fishy. She proceeded to tell me I don't have any sells. I know this was a lie and advised her of such. I also questioned why they gave me a totally different sign in. She said she would have someone give me a call on 12/29/18 at 12 noon Eastern time. I spoke with a man by the name of ***. I advised him that they were a scam and that I wanted my sight closed immediately. I told him that I did have sells and that they were trying to cover up the sells I made. I advised him that the sells were consistent with my advertising. He was rude and tried to talk over me. I also told them that I want to retain my domain name I paid for.

Refund I need to be paid the $400 dollars they are trying to steal from me. I paid for advertising and achieved a total of 7 sales with about $800 in total sales. The agreement stated that I would receive 50% of total sales from my website. However, they stated that I did not have any sales, which I know is a lie. I saw the sales and the orders on 12/27/18. Two of the orders had already been shipped out. The sells were consistent with the areas I was advertising in.

Hello,

This customer has filed a complete bogus complaint and totally embellished her story. As she stated, she upgraded from her FREE site to a paid site on Dec 24, 2018. Her upgraded site, which was a custom build was not even active to accept orders until Dec 28, 2018. We can prove this because her domain was not purchased until Dec 26th, which she falsely claims that she purchased. The site was also activated on Dec 26, 2019.

She then contacted us on the Dec 28, 2019 inquiring about her sales. We notified her that her site had not received any orders as of yet. She then proceeded a profanity laced tired claiming that she has spent thousands of dollars on marketing and she knows that she had sales. Just to make sure that our system was not experiencing any technical issues we contacted the merchant provider assigned to her account, Stripe.com. They confirmed that her site had not received any orders.

We continually asked Ms. Reed if she had the names, email addresses, or even the sales amounts of the orders she claims to have received and again she commenced to curse our staff. We immediately refunded her entire purchase amount and closed her account.

Finally, she claimed that we were trying to cover up her sales, which makes absolutely no sense. Our entire program is built on our stores making money. If she actually sold the amount of products she claims to have sold in a mere 2 days, this is an accomplishment that we would have promoted, not covered up. This would have been the perfect recruiting tool to attract more customers. But, sadly this did not happen and we have no idea as to why she's making these claims. Our only conclusion is that when she logged into the back office she someone was able to view the sales activity and site impression stats for the all the stores on our platform, which is unlikely, but not impossible.

The following is an e-mail thread between our company and Ms. Reed. We trust that from the thread you can determine that she was being totally unreasonable and not providing an accurate account of her dealings with our company.

I rarely, if ever, write reviews on companies. However, this company has exceeded my expectations immensely. My review is actually more about the persona interaction than the products they offer, which in my opinion is secondary to customer service. It's not often that you find genuine people that truly want to help others succeed.

I came to Stylist Solutions 2 years ago after being shown the door by several other distributors, who didn't even take the time to listen to me. Nonetheless, I met the owner's Ken and Tony at the the Atlanta *** hair show and decided to set an appointment. It was the best decision I've ever made! We spoke and laughed for nearly 30 minutes and none of it was about business, just life stuff. That's extremely rare in this microwave world where everything is so rushed. When we finally started to discuss business, their knowledge and willingness to help me almost made me cry. Not once did they ask me how much money I had to spend or any other demeaning questions. They just sat with me and laid out a plan to help me stock my store. They told me which brands sell best, which have the highest profit margin, and they even gave me ideas on my planogram (a word I had never heard of until that day). What sealed the deal for me is when I asked them about several products that they didn't carry, instead of them trying to talk me out of buying the brands. They told me where I can get them and how much I should pay for them.

I am now opening my second store and I can honestly say that it would not have been possible without the help of Stylist Solutions. I am forever in your debt. Thank you!
