Call recordings reveal that on February 25, *** *** called into our office and asked if the account was paid in full would it be removed from her credit reportWe informed *** *** that her credit report would be updated to reflect a zero balance and paid in full but would not be removed*** *** stated she needed to talk to her husband and would contact us back
On February 27, *** *** called into our office and again asked if we would remove the account from her credit report if she paid this in fullWe again informed her it would reflect as paid in full but not removed*** *** then stated she would call the client directlyNo further contact was established with *** *** on the account
On March 3, Firstsource Advantage received a direct payment from the client on the account for balance in fullAt that time the account and credit report were updated to reflect paid in full
It appears from *** *** response, she may be referring to a conversation she had with the client as she did not make a payment with our office
Firstsource Advantage does remove accounts from credit reports when we are informed they are inaccurateIf *** *** could send us a statement from the client informing of the billing error, we can remove from her credit reportShe may also send us the name and number of the person who informed her it would be removed, we can then contact them directly on her behalf to clarify the situationAccording to our records and client communications, the information reported to the credit bureaus was correct
