I was wondering why when Firstsource Advantage answered back they said Att*** and Dear *** unless they where addressing someone else when my name is *** this makes me think they could be getting my account mixed up with some one elseAlso he would not spell out his last name when you ask someone their name they know to give the whole thing plus tapes can be edited On the part when he said he cou,d not locate the account I had given him the number and he must have written it down wrong so I had to revive it to him againIt had been times when I called to pay the debt and he would say my boss is not here so I cou, don't make the payment yetSeems to me if you are trying to collect you would take it when a person is trying to pay if you are some companyWhen I called to pay again he kept asking is it in the bank or he had to wait a few daysThen he wanted a check number and a debit card number like he wanted to be able to get in my account ways he did not need both I think but being a senior I don't know how all these things workThat's why I started thinking something sounds fishy I called *** *** Bank and that person said someone tried to open an account in and it was never followed throughAlso that I only had one account with when and it had been closed years agoAlso my account is paid offAlso they do not use Firstsource Advantage LLC as their collection they don't work with them directlyAnd that dollars is a lot to mark up a bill at the most but not the higher one And that my *** bill was only not or what they are chargingAnd that account has been paid and closed now*** collection are out of business they had sent it tooSo he gave me the *** phone number and they said I could file a fraud report and that Firstsource AdvantageLLC had turned the other collections over to them *** *** said they don't have any debts owed to them in my name That I had only have one and it has been paidHe said someone tried to open an account using a card printer and it was denied The companies they say I owe the 794.86, and say they don't have anything in my name no recordsThat some one tried to open accounts and they where denied so I am doing some investigating to see where all this is coming from and filing fraud reports and possibly police reports so they people can be tracted DowI would like Firstsource to stop calling with harassing phone calls and a collection agency has even called and cursed on my answering machine also

in our office for Ms*** which ends in ***Firstsource Advantage, LLC established contact with Ms*** on April 3, and at that time she informed us she could not pay
On August 3, Firstsource Advantage, LLC received correspondence from Ms*** advising to cease all calls and requested verification of debtUpon receipt of that correspondence Firstsource Advantage removed Ms***’s numbers and sent a request to the client for verificationNo further calls have been placed to Ms***On August 11, Firstsource Advantage mailed the verification of debt to Ms***
Please note that Firstsource Advantage did send Ms*** two settlement offers on the accountThe first offer letter was sent on May 18, in the amount of $The second offer letter was sent to Ms*** on June 2, in the amount of $Firstsource Advantage did not receive any response from Ms*** regarding these offers
On September 9, Ms*** sent in a letter requesting to settle this account for $if it will be considered "paid as agreed" and "delete all entries showing this account as ever being late" which unfortunately we could not accommodateAs she requested no calls, we were unable to call and discuss this with her.
Please note that Firstsource Advantage is a third party collection agency and we do not update the credit bureaus for this client
Firstsource Advantage, LLC can accept Ms***’s offer of $to settle the account but please note we cannot meet her other conditionsIf Ms*** does wish to settle the account for the above amount, upon receipt of her payment, we would code the account as settled in full, notify the client accordingly and they would update Ms***’s credit report

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as the company does follow up with the documentation regarding the dispute as promised in their letter, failure to do this will result in the filing of another complaint I have spoken to the hospital from which these accounts are supposedly due and after providing my insurance information they have informed me that there were no deductibles for the dates of service in question What is not satisfactory is the response regarding the rudeness and ease with which these so called customer service reps raise their voice at the caller and hang up the phone I happen to have managed a call center in the past and these reps clearly NEED call escalation training at the very least Informing me which company they were calling from took several weeks of calls since the reps were never really willing to provide me with a name in a manner that could be understood, they would simply just hang up when I would refuse to provide them with my personal information unless they gave me the name of the company and where they were calling from Returning the call usually had of outcomes: A rep answering the phone and once again rudely asking for date of birth and social security number (last digits) or an answering machine that did not provide the name of a company The only way I was able to obtain the company's name was by plugging the phone number into a *** search and reading about the several posts that complain about the practices of this company Also they never explained they were calling on behalf of their client or any other inkling that would lead me to believe they were not somebody attempting to steal my identity Since there is all kinds of online forums regarding this company (and any other of the many names they use) as a scam I will file another complaint if the next time I receive communication from any of a Firstsource Advantage or One Advantage customer service rep that is not properly trained or disrespectful as well as failure to provide the written communication they have promised in their response

Dear [redacted],
Thank you for your recent correspondence dated April 1, 2016. Upon receiving notification that [redacted] was not satisfied with our response, we have revisited this complaint.
Firstsource Advantage was never informed of any incorrect billing from the client. As [redacted] has requested validation of debt, we have sent this request to our client. Once the documents are received we will send them to her for review via certified mail.
As previously stated, on March 3, 2015, Firstsource Advantage received a direct payment from the client on the account for balance in full. At that time the account and credit report were updated to reflect paid in full. Please note that the client informed us of this payment so we are not sure as to why [redacted] would state that Firstsource Advantage did not show it as paid.
According to the client records, the last documented conversation with [redacted] was on February 27, 2015.
We were notified today by [redacted] that we are to remove the account from [redacted] credit report. We have submitted this request to the credit bureau agencies. Please allow a minimum of 30 days to reflect the deletion.
We do regret any inconvenience that [redacted] may have experienced and hope that all of her concerns have been addressed.
Firstsource Advantage, LLC has rigorous FDCPA training and formalized procedures to ensure compliance with the law and to ensure that the highest quality of service is provided to the customer.  Complaints such as yours are taken very seriously and are thoroughly investigated. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office at [redacted].  Thank you.

Thank you for your correspondence dated July 29, 2015 relating to the above consumer.

Upon receiving notification of the complaint, as a part of our standard complaint process, a thorough investigation of this matter was performed.  On July 21, 2015 our client placed an...

account in our office for [redacted] to collect on this debt. On July 25, 2015 Firstsource Advantage dialed number ###-###-#### and we spoke to a woman who stated she was [redacted]’s mother. She had informed us that her son was not there and we left our call back information with her.

Later that same day a woman called into our office and stated that she was [redacted]. Even though she had stated her name was [redacted] and the account is for [redacted] we had asked her to verify the last four digits of the social security number. The numbers she provided matched and the account was discussed. [redacted] said that she wanted to make a payment but didn't have her checking information on her and that she would call us back to set up a payment.

Firstsource Advantage had called back the number of ###-###-#### and asked to speak to [redacted] and the woman stated it was her. On this call she did ask to not call but unfortunately due to a representative error the number was not removed which caused additional calls. This representative has been counseled on the importance of adhering to requests to remove numbers and written documentation will be kept on file.

Upon receipt of this complaint Firstsource Advantage has placed the account is in a dispute status and all collections efforts have ceased. We have also removed the number of ###-###-#### and no further calls will be placed to that number from our office.

Due to the name confusion on the account we have ordered verification of debt so we can review the application and statements due to the above discrepancies.

We do appreciate them bringing this to our attention and do apologize for any inconvenience that Mr. or Ms. [redacted] may have experienced and hope that all of their concerns have been addressed.

Firstsource has rigorous FDCPA training and formalized procedures to ensure compliance with the law and to ensure that the highest quality of service is provided to the customer.  Complaints such as yours are taken very seriously and are thoroughly investigated.

Please call me if you have any questions. Thank you.
