We've called on Superior Heating & Cooling for over 20 years and have always been pleased with our experience from start to finish. After recommending them to others, the response is always the same ("They were here on time and did a great job!", "Very polite and professional.", "I'd definitely recommend them."). When my wife and I needed a replacement unit, they were not only courteous and professional, but also very knowledgeable and informative. A representative came out to our home, conducted a free estimate, and helped us choose the most cost-effective, energy-efficient equipment to meet our needs. *** handled the permit, arrived on time, completed the installation within the advised time frame, removed the old unit and cleaned up the area. As always, great job Superior Heating & Cooling!

Very pleased from start to finish. I had three estimates from other companies, but the employee from Superior was quite knowledgeable and thorough, answering all my questions. The installers were quite professional, and done in no time at all, then explained operation of new system. Price was great, service was even better. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Superior has been performing twice a year scheduled service on our system for about four years. For the most recent years it has been the same friendly and knowledgeable service technician. On Sunday I noticed the system was not cooling properly and I called Superior. I was surprised to speak with a real human being who knew exactly what was going on at that moment with their technicians. Decided to wait for a technician until Monday. Office called ahead and said he would arrive by 9:30. By 11:00 am Monday, we decided to go with a new Bryant cooling system which was installed and running by 4:00 pm, same day. I found this to by outstanding, along with the all the technicians they have sent to our house. I am a big fan of their business.

Our experience with Superior Heating and Cooling was great from beginning to end. *** was extremely polite and knowledgeable in his presentation of A/C and furnaces along with cost.
*** were also extremely knowledgeable in installing our A/C and furnace units and actually were able to finish in about five hours. They cleaned up after themselves and explained how the units work.
We would highly recommend Superior Heating and Cooling to all our relatives and friends!

Our air conditioner went out on a Sunday evening and Andrew from Superior came and gave us a bid on Monday morning. They showed up on Tuesday to install and we were cooling by Tuesday afternoon. The unit works so much better than what it replaced. Very happy with our choice. The service was quick, prompt and courteous. Everything as promised. Thank You!

I called this company out in May because my air unit was making a loud noise. So they come out, a gentleman by the name of *** and he does some work totaling close to $800. So then not even a month later my unit is making the same noise as it was when I first called them. So I call again and tell them I am not paying for a service call they need to fix the issue. So they send a different man out, not the same one who came prior but a total different guy by the name of ***. He is trying to say it is something else wrong with it and that it will cost another $400. I told him no I am calling the main office to dispute this because I shouldn't have to pay anything when you just charged me $800 last month for the same issue. The man leaves. Leave my unit taken apart and doesn't return. So I acll teh office and talk to the manager ***. He tells me its not there problem and I owe what I owe basically and there is nothing they can do for me. So why did I just spend $800 last month and now your trying to charge me another close to $400 for the SAME issue? I then tell this man that my unit is still taken apart that this *** guy left. He tells me to screw it back together myself. This is unprofessional and totally wrong. They are crooks. I then call *** out to look at my unit. They said the blade had a loose screw in it not holding it together. Hmmm seems pretty shady that Superior was out less than a month ago and now I have lose screws in my unit? Anyways they fixed that along with the blade which they only charged $200. Superior is dishonest scammers that need to be investigated. ***, the office manager is the most unprofessional man ever who should be fired!

Dear Revdex.com, please see our response below. There are several details the customer left out, as well as errors in her statements in her complaint.

Superior’s service tech was originally there on May 14, 2018. Customer complained of loud noise in the air conditioner. He found the condenser fan motor needed to be replaced. He charged customer a total of $733.00, not $800 as she states. The services included $58.00 for the service call, $20.00 for the diagnostic fee, $569.00 for the fan motor and the installation, and $98.00 for a pound of freon. A copy of the itemized service ticket for the work that was performed and signed by the customer is attached, proving the system was in good working order when he was done with repair.

Everything worked fine and we did not hear from customer again until 6/12/18... which is 30 days later. She complained of noise again.

The issue customer had on 6/12/18 was the condenser fan blade had gone bad. Hence a completely different problem making a noise, not the same problem and not the same noise. The service tech quoted a cost of $317.00 for the repair, not $400.00 as she states. The services included $58.00 for the service call, $20.00 for the diagnostic fee, and $239.00 for the replacement of the Lennox OEM condenser fan blades.

The two noise issues were not the same... two different problems.

Customer refused repair, stating she would not pay for it, as she felt it was the same noise / problem she had before. The service tech left customer’s house putting the blades back in place, but he did not put the screws back in the top of the unit. He did this so the unit would be inoperable. He also turned off the disconnect box, for the same reason. Both of these things were for the customers benefit so the unit could not be used and would not be further damaged.

Customer called the office twice and she was extremely belligerent with the staff. Everyone could hear her yelling thru the phone all over the office. She refused to listen to anything that was said... She believed it was the same problem and she was right. Our staff were nothing but polite to her.

Superior does not feel customer is owed any money back. Repair originally made was for a condenser fan motor replacement, not the condenser fan blades. Everything is fine with the condenser motor. In addition we were not paid for the $78.00 service call on 6/13/18.

Unfortunately, being in the service business for 46 years we understand that you cannot please all customers. We are sorry to say sometimes they refuse to understand or even listen, when we are trying to help them.

I am rejecting this response because: they did not put the blades back in the fan everything was left apart. I didnt not tell the man to leave, I said I am calling the office and disputing this amount. He then said to my husband he is done and leaving and walked out. The amounts I listed were estimated guesses due to the fact I was at work when writing it but I rounded the cost up. Either way they ripped me off. They left my u nit apart. They over charged me. Then tried to over charge me when the unit was never fixed right in the correct way. My unit was making the SAME noise as the first time within a month apart. My receipt from the company that came out to fix the problem the second time states that there was a screw loose on it from the first fix. I have proof of that on my receipt. This screw being lose caused my second problem to occur so *** obviously didn't tighten my unit up the first time which is why it broke down again causing more things to break as you would say. This is unacceptable and something needs to be done. This would have never had happened for one if I didnt use your company and for two if *** your employee would have done the job correctly the first time and put my screws all the way screwed in!!!!!!!!!!!

As we stated in our initial response... The service tech left customer’s house putting the blades back in place. He did not put the screws back in the top of the unit. He did this so the unit would be inoperable. He also turned off the disconnect box, for the same reason. Both of these things were for the customers benefit so the unit could not be used and would not be further damaged.

The service tech was mid-repair when Mrs. called our office to complain. Our service technician came out on a service call, diagnosed the problem, which entailed taking off the blades and replacing them. His diagnosis was told to the husband who told the wife who called the office to complain. After 7-10 minutes of Mrs. being generally abusive and not willing to listen she was asked point blank if she wanted the repair at the price quoted. She said no and hung up. The technician did not stay as he was not being paid and the customer was highly agitated.

Her statement that this was the SAME noise is not quantifiable. It is apparent that she has no problem calling in with a complaint, and yet it was 30 days later that the problem appeared. She has an older unit that had one part fail and 30 days later another failed. The unit would not have worked for 30 days after the initial problem was fixed, if there was a lose screw.

We made every effort to provide the service requested. Her statement that the “other company” found a screw loose just verifies that we had removed the blades for replacement and did not complete the repair because the customer didn’t want it.

No amount of back and forth is ever going to make Mrs. happy, it appears she has her mind made up. A refund by us is not appropriate, as we provided the services requested. We were not paid for the 2nd service call and are investing time responding to this claim.

Bottom line is we made a repair... everything worked perfectly for 30 days... then she had another problem... different problem and she wants to blame us for the different problem.

We had *** come out and check out our existing air unit. It was original to the house we bought, so we were in need of a new one. We were able to schedule an install date just one week later. *** and team were prompt, efficient and respectful of our house (and pet!). We'd definitely recommend them to family and friends.

In June I had a new air conditioner installed. Superior Heating and Cooling has serviced my home for over 20 years. The unit I replaced was installed by them in 1994. Their service personnel are always courteous, timely, thorough in servicing, honest in their technical assessments. This installation experience was no different. I received competitive pricing with appropriate discounts. I would have rated 5 Stars had it not been necessary on my part to inquire about available financing and options to further reduce installation cost.
