the services were most satisfactory and professional.
I contacted what I thought was an *** support line. I had been conversing 3 times via computer with *** support and thought I would speak to them this time. I gather now that support teq is not affiliated with Apple. They do state this later in the conversation but not until after I had questioned them about who they were and how could I believe who they were. I was nervous that it may have been a scam. Anyway $265 AUD later they had cleaned up my computer but had not resolved my problem which was with my iphone. I have since had 2 calls from Supportteq and I had to be firm and angry in the end to make it clear I did not want more calls from them. I spent 21/2 hours on the phone, found it difficult to understand their accent at times which made this whole experience even more frustrating. think *** should be aware of this company. So this is a 50/50 review part good part bad.
very happy with the service and the promptness with my enquiry once again
thanking you
I upgraded my iPhone at a Verizon store. Verizon had trouble syncing iCloud data from my old to new iPhone, dropped the ball on me, and said that's all they could do after I paid for everything. I went to apple.com and clicked clicked "support" from the menu. I clicked on contact support, and a live chat window appeared. I explained my problem. I was asked for my number. I was called, was asked to plug my phone into my computer, clicked on another window and gave them access. They said my computer was infected with malware, said they could help me for $300+ dollars, and then informed me they were Support Teq, not Apple. I explained that I didn't think I needed to pay $300 to get a new phone working. They replied that my new phone was plugged into my infected computer and most likely was exposed to viruses. They also said that the Apple store could not help me because I purchased my phone from a 3rd party. What could I do? I consented and submitted my credit card info. They got my phone working (my old phone had apps downloaded with a former user id and pw and could not sync to my new phone with updated login info). They downloaded several programs to my PC, 3 of which are free malware programs. I was asked to compose an email while they could see my screen acknowledging that I understood that Support Teq was in no way associated with Apple and that my issues were resolved. I Googled Support Teq after my 2 hour session with them had ended; extremely positive and negative results were found. I notified my credit card company and had a watch placed on my account. I also notified Apple. Support Teq solved my phone issue, but I think they were unethical in having a support chat box pop up while I was on the Apple site. I feel really *** falling for this.
Thanks to Support Teq for there promt service I am a very happy customer.
My problem was solved efficiently and proficiently. great experience
This is to express my appreciation for your expert service. I will certainly recommend you to friends. Thanks.
This morning I called Support Teq at 9:25 a.m. I was greeted by the automated message stating that all of the agents were busy, however your call is very important to us, please hold while I find a "techie." After six minutes of this message and music, I was cut off. I called back and the same thing happened...after 5 minutes I was cut off. I called back a third time, while at the same time I went on line to the Support Teq website and started a contact with a live agent. After no reply from the "How can I help you" after 3 minutes, I was again cut off by the phone service. I tried for a fourth time to call the company number and after 5 minutes, I was cut off. It is now 10:34 EST a.m. and I have not had a reply from the "on-line-chat that was initiated at 10:03 a.m. EST. Last evening I had an issue with my computer, I contacted the company to which I paid a subscription price in March of $199.95. After 45 minutes, I received a call back. The problem with my computer was supposedly completely resolved by the agent. This morning I am having the same issue and cannot get a live answer. I would recommend you not subscribe to this company. Another issue is that every agent to whom I speak has a heavy foreign accent, hard to understand and have to ask the agent to repeat what he or she says to me. I have an idea that this company's agents are not located in CA but perhaps India. You may want to consider a more reliable on-line tech comany.
