Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: You have never sent me the warranty on my roof despite my written requests and oral requests Your unilateral contract indicates you will provide a full roof replacement with limited lifetime warranty You have refused to provide me with the limited lifetime warranty paperwork from the manufacturer You have indicated you are a licensed contractor who is a certified installer of the roof you replaced I need the warranty paperwork indicating the lifetime warranty and with whom that warranty lies If you refuse to provide a warranty on the decking you refused to replace then remove the roof and replace the decking you failed to replace and then replace the roof Regards, *** [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: while I received the check from the company, it came with no explanation, acknowledgement or indicated when they where to come out and do the final test to determine if there were further leaks on the patio which they said they would do No attempt was ever made to contact me to set this up Instead, I had someone else accomplish this for me since we were expecting Hurricane Harvey to hit San Antonio and I did not want any problems I did cash the check although I was reluctant to do so given I felt the company would take this as my acceptance and hence closure of this case Let me be clear, Stephen's Roofing is a very difficult company to deal with in terms of communicating with their customers when problems arise They are eager to sign you up and take your money, but once the job is done, they do not stand by their warranty or respond to your concerns in a reasonable way I will consider this issue closed as long as this company receives a negative rating Regards, [redacted]

In June 2015, we received a service request due to a patio cover leak/issueWe inspected the issue on different occasions After a through inspection, having the manufacturer inspect the work, and speaking to Mr [redacted] at the last inspection, it was concluded the issue was due to flooding rains/weather related damage We advised the homeowner to contact their insurance.Since the damage is weather related (an act of God) and not due to workmanship, the issue is not covered by the manufacturer or Stephen's Workmanship Warranty Per the warranty paperwork sent to the homeowner it outlines the following, "The following events are not covered by this warranty: aDamage from weather related events." (Which is an industry standard for Manufacturers and Roofing companies).Also we can only assume the insurance is paying for the replacement per the complaint, which tell us the leak/issue was caused by a weather related incidentWe hope this helps in closing out this complaint since we are not at fault.Thank you,Stephens Roofing

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: You have my phone number yet have refused to contact me to come out and begin to honor your warranty Please post a copy of my warranty to this site as I have posted a copy of your contract You have sent me a copy of your year warranty but refused to send me a copy of my lifetime warranty with the manufacturer as I have requested from you in writing many times I have paid you over thousand dollars and you have never provided me the warranty with the manufacturer Please honor your contract by providing me a copy of my manufacturers lifetime warranty You also are refusing to address the warped decking you failed to replace You can replace that part of the roof and decking or provide a written warranty for the warped decking I am being reasonable at this time only asking that you honor your contract you drafted to me Regards, *** [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I do not wish for any type of repair or replacement work done by Stephans Roofing, since I was informed by Ruben Ramirez ( a Stephans subcontractor who made the mistake of ripping off my vent on my home) and by Stephans roofing forman [redacted] Rodriguez that the company has no actual crew but subcontract jobs outMr [redacted] is correct in saying that I informed him that I used Stephans for another home that I own a few years ago but he didn't mention that I also said that they did shoddy work and refused to correct itI am aware that my roof is not new, as he mentioned but that does not take away from the fact that his company came onto my property and without my authority ripped shingles from my home and removed a vent and replaced the shingles with darker colored shinglesI am requesting that Mr [redacted] provide me the name of his insurance company as well as his bonding company or account number so that I can file a claim with either company ir officeHe advertises that his company is "insured and bonded" which I am sure would cover sucha blunder carried out by Stephans roofingIn the case that Mr [redacted] refuses to give me the information that I request and or the compensation that I have requested, then I will start legal proceedings with my attorney and will not contact the Revdex.com again for a complaint or further action by the Revdex.comAgain I am asking for $in damages and would ask Mr [redacted] to send the certified check to my address as soon as possibleIf I do not hear from him or receive the check for the damages caused by his company within business days, I will assume that he has refused my offer of settlement Regards, [redacted]

I have been asking Mrs [redacted] to contact us at the office so we can resolve this , there are procedures and protocols that we have to follow In the state of texas there is a day rescission period and her notice of cancellation was beyond this period and we have procedures at our office that we have to follow and when a customer doesn't cooperate with these procedures it puts us in a situation that would seem defensive The materials were delivered by the supply company.we will agree but we ask mrs [redacted] to retract this unnecessary complaint that would of been handled through our requested communication so with the agreed retraction we will :1) have the supplier pick up the materials to be picked up 2) contract will be cancelled 3) no lien will be filed Thank you

I am sorry , but I do not see any request for a resolution, the roof has been completed since feb Update , I just got off the phone with Ms [redacted] and she is going to get back to me on a resolution .Thank you
