I am rejecting this response because: The Company went out already and took pictures.  The next step, according to the employee on the last visit, was to coordinate the time and date for the repairs.  Now, seemingly, they want to back track. Without an explanation for this requested "inspection," this is unacceptable.  The fact that on paper there is a warranty now seems immaterial.

I am rejecting this response because: Have you not been able to find the pictures your employees took of the damage?  Have you not been able to talk to this employee?  It seems like we are going back to square one.  Your statement "if we find something" suggest you have no knowledge of the photographed damage.   I wish you understood that our time is valuable.  We gave your company numerous opportunities to address this issue and repeatedly called to get someone to respond.  You already did an inspection and photographed the damage and made opinions about the cause. The next step was to get the repairs done, but your employees instead decided to ignore my calls and messages.     I hope you understand how is it that I have lost all trust in your company.  Before you do any repairs, we will need to agree on an independent inspection with someone that can tell us what needs to be repaired  and how it needs to be done.  Thereafter, you can tell me what you agree to repair and how.  The cost of the independent inspection should be incurred by your company.  If it turns out that none of the repairs should be done by your company, then I will reimburse your company for the cost of the independent inspection.  I think this is a fair offer considering the amount of time that has lapsed and that the damage has probably only gotten worse due to (in my mind) your company's neglect.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Thank you for delivering the gift cards in the amount of $50 today.  My wife received them and I have them in hand.  I feel we are making progress.  I will look for the check in the mail.  I will follow up only if I do not receive the check by the end of the year, 12/31/2018.  I feel that is adequate time for it to arrive assuming it was actually mailed today, 12/19/2017.  Again, thank you to Stephens Roofing for making this situation right and for taking steps to salvage the working relationship we must maintain for the next 4.5 years while the roof is under warranty.Assuming this monetary situation is resolved and I do not have any leaks in my roof from now until late June/July (which I do not expect), I will contact Stephens Roofing in late June/early July for my annual inspection and to follow-up on the hump in one corner of the roof.  I hope the hump will fuse to the roof but will be in close contact in June/July with Stephens Roofing one way or the other.  I do have more confidence in Stephens Roofing after this correspondence through the Revdex.com.  Thanks to Stephens Roofing and the Revdex.com for the respectful nature in which this conflict was resolved.

I am rejecting this response because:  I have not received any follow up from this company.  I am still waiting for my warranty paperwork that has not been sent to me in months.  I have an email indicating "Mr. Torres will be taking care of this for you through the Revdex.com by Monday afternoon."  That was supposed to have been taken care of 10 days ago.

We have sent you the warranties via [redacted] signed receipt requested and you rejected the [redacted] .  Insurance companies do not require any manufactures warranties and they only give discounts on class iv shingles and you do not have a class iv shingles roof . I request AGAIN to meet with you at your home so we can go over the issues you requested and so we can get them fixed ..Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: I have never received my warranty packet.  I did not accept money for my decking that was not replaced as delineated in my contract.  Contract indicated you would replace 2 sheets of plywood which you failed to do despite my requesting you do to do so on several occasions.  Your contract indicated the cost of the decking was 50$ per sheet and the 2 you failed to replace was $100.  I asked for your written warranty as listed in your contract to include a warranty on the decking you failed to replace.  I sent your office an email requesting this in writing and have failed to receive any paperwork from your office.

I am rejecting this response because: I do not wish for any type of repair or replacement work done by Stephans Roofing, since I was informed by Ruben Ramirez ( a Stephans subcontractor who made the mistake of ripping off my vent on my home) and by Stephans roofing forman [redacted] Rodriguez that the company has no actual crew but subcontract jobs out. Mr [redacted] is correct in saying that I informed him that I used Stephans for another home that I own a few years ago but he didn't mention that I also said that they did shoddy work and refused to correct it. I am aware that my roof is not new, as he mentioned but that does not take away from the fact that his company came onto my property and without my authority ripped shingles from my home and removed a vent and replaced the shingles with darker colored shingles. I am requesting that Mr [redacted] provide me the name of his insurance company as well as his bonding company or account number so that I can file a claim with either company ir office. He advertises that his company is "insured and bonded" which I am sure would cover sucha blunder carried out by Stephans roofing. In the case that Mr [redacted] refuses to give me the information that I request and or the compensation that I have requested, then I will start legal proceedings with my attorney and will not contact the Revdex.com again for a complaint or further action by the Revdex.com. Again I am asking for $2600 in damages and would ask Mr [redacted] to send the certified check to my address as soon as possible. If I do not hear from him or receive the check for the damages caused by his company within 10 business days, I will assume that he has refused my offer of settlement.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12069592, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.   [redacted] the patio guy has already been out to the house to take measurements on February 18th, prior to this complaint being filed.  The insurance company has contacted me and will be conducting their own inspection of the roof and patio cover on March 11th, 2017.

I am rejecting this response because: You have never sent me the warranty on my roof despite my written requests and oral requests.  Your unilateral contract indicates you will provide a full roof replacement with limited lifetime warranty.  You have refused to provide me with the limited lifetime warranty paperwork from the manufacturer.  You have indicated you are a licensed contractor who is a certified installer of the roof you replaced.  I need the warranty paperwork indicating the lifetime warranty and with whom that warranty lies.  If you refuse to provide a warranty on the decking you refused to replace then remove the roof and replace the decking you failed to replace and then replace the roof.
