Complaint: 10287319I am rejecting this response because: like I said I was told by Barbara Diploma on 2 different occasions that the  attorney would contact me when the documents was sent to me if the person who was preparing my case called me like I was informed than your company would  have known I never received the corrected document. Emails do tend to not come through sometimes that's why you call and make sure I received them. Second how could you say you completed my case in two days I still had supporting documents to send to your company. In the incorrect documents they sent me. There were no supporting documents the affidavit was a lie by stating the respondent concealed herself in the state and I can't find her I told Barbara that  was wrong  because I knew where she was staying and Barbara told me that makes my case look better. Than after calling Barbara on 10/22/14 I told her I still haven't heard back from the attorney than she told me that someone would call I just have to wait to that person call me NO ONE  called . I never spoke with any attorney from the time I started my case. Than on 10/23 /14 I called back and never spoke to anyone the entire day. On that same day I was contacted by the Mother of my child and was informed that she was going to let my daughter come stay with me. On 10/24/14 I called and spoke to a man rep and told him that I was no longer interested in the service and that I had been ignored for two days and I wanted a refund that man was so disrespectful to me once he found out that I wanted a refund. He told me you're not getting a [redacted] thing back you can't go to Walmart get a oil change a want your money back we completed your case. And hung the phone up on me around 11:30am Barbara called me back and I told her what had happened she than tried to sell me a different service and I told her I'm not interested I just want my money back and that's when she told me it was out of her hands and  again that  attorney would call about the refund. I didn't have the service for more than 7 days before asking for a refund still never heard from attorney about my  case are a refund. On 10/17/14 I paid 795.00 on 10/20/14/ I sent your company 2 pages of supporting documents and told Barbara that the tax documents I had to go through and find on 10/22/14 your company sent me incorrect documents on 10/24 /14 I cancelled the service.So your company didn't do anything for me but try to rip me off out of 795.00 I want a full refund Regards,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:  I never received any documents to file with the court.  I never was able to talk with an attorney in Florida.  I only spoke to someone at The Attorney Connection, and he was no help what so ever.  The company is a scam, I wasted $695.00, and I had to hire an attorney.

I am rejecting this response; for the following reasons: I did not receive an email or voicemail.  Any attempt to contact me by phone on a day when my voicemail box was full; was not an excuse to use a different form of communication to reach out to me. The fee to prepare documents on my behalf totaled $700.  I spoke to the payment department and was told my balance was 300. I paid attorney connection over $400.  I can provide my credit card statements as proof of payment.  I would like the documents to be completed for payment that was rendered. I left them another message just recently and did not receive a call back regarding the matter.

Reasons why I reject this response:
1. I was never informed of the no refund policy or any billing policy when I made the initial purchase over the phone.
2. I cancelled within 72 hours ( less than 3 business days) and as a resident of Illinois I have a right to rescind any contract within that time frame.
3. No inquiry has been made into the recorded phone call I had with your salesperson who failed to provide me with critical information that your business claims I was made aware of.
4. I was promised a reply within 10 business days after filing my request for refund and I received no response from your company.
5.it was made clear to me that no lawyers would be starting any work on reviewing my case until I submitted the intake form which I refused to do. I have received no services from your company whatsoever.
6. No inquiries were made into the abusive response I received upon making my second call to your company.
7. Requiring citizens to waive rights including freedom of speech in order to request a refund from your company is probably unconstitutional and definitely unethical and certainly highlights the nature of this particular scam.
8. I have still not been issued a full refund and I fully intend to escalate this issue and exercise my rights to the fullest until I have the full refund I am entitled to. I am extremely disappointed but not at all surprised by your response. I view this as probably illegal behavior and definitely unethical behavior on the part of many members of this organization.

First of all, the customer was informed of, and agreed to, the $9 monthly legal support fee for legal support, attorney access and case management.  Secondly, this customer never once contacted us (all he had to do was leave a voice message or send us an email) to cancel this fee. ...

This is the first notice of his intent to cancel our legal support.  As such, we have canceled all future payments.  Finally, in light of the fact that the customer never notified us of this request to cancel, we respectfully request that the Revdex.com not post his complaint.

inquired on information for attorney services. I rec'd a call along
with emails from a representative that gave me information that gave me
hope. Up until I agreed to...

use their service, I was receiving calls and
text messages constant (sometimes several times a day). I was told the
papers would be prepared by a lawyer not a paralegal, told we would
receive our documents in a week, told we would have access to a lawyer
at any time we needed, and more. I finally agreed to go with the
service and did the questionnaire. When trying to call, had to leave
voicemails. Then when getting a call back, it was not a lawyer, it was a
woman that was typing the information I was giving to her. She said
she would get the information to the lawyer. Had to call for when we
were to receive the paperwork and finally 3 days later received them.
Once reviewing them, found multiple errors off the bat that a child
could pick out. Along with that, it looked as the document was prepared
by copying and pasting the information in. This is not professional
and not by any means from a lawyer. Tried to call regarding the errors
and more questions and had to leave messages again. Still no response
over a week later. I still have the representatives number and I have
text him my concerns several times and no response. But when he wanted
my business, he was pushy in calling and texting constantly. Now,
nothing!!! Due to time frame and the most unprofessional service from
this company, we have had to secure a new lawyer. After talking with
the new lawyer, I did not sign for anything therefore, I am due my money
back even though they are adament in saying (non-refundable). I agreed
on a service, I did not get that service therefore, I an due a
refund!!!This customer got his legal documents within 7-10 business days after providing the necessary information to this company.  After receiving the legal documents, there is absolutely no record of the customer calling and scheduling to speak with an attorney, which is the process.  In addition, as per the process clearly set forth to the customer, there is no record of the customer submitting a request for revisions form to make changes to the legal documents. Instead, the customer got his documents, ignores all procedures as to how to schedule an attorney call and to request changes to documents, and then decides to got straight to the Revdex.com to file a complaint.  If the customer wants to speak with an attorney, simply call and schedule an attorney phone call.  If the customer needs changes to the documents, simply submit the request for revisions form by clicking here.  The company delivered on what was represented.  The customer did not follow any of the procedures set forth, therefore no refund is warranted.

This customer's allegations are entirely false.  Perhaps this customer would know that we attempted several times to return his calls, but his voicemail box was always full, so we could not ever leave a message for him.  In addition, he did not respond to our email requests to contact...

him.  Moreover, although The Attorney Connection began working on his case, this customer did not even pay one half of the fee owed, so the company incurred a loss by working on his case.

I am rejecting this response because:
You have liars for sales representatives then! They told me my papers would be DONE by 1/3/2014!!! The conversations are taped by your company, so prove that I am wrong by supplying the recordings of the first 2 phone calls from your sales team. Just because you think that there is no deadline and that you provided the papers in a timely manor doesn't mean that you did.
I explained to the sales team that I was going against a court order by keeping my son from his mother which is Contempt of Court charges, that is the reason that the sales team and I agreed on 1/3/2014 for a date to have the papers for the court. That is also the reason that I went and got a real lawyer to file the papers and the papers to answer the charge of contempt of court, that was filed on me by my ex wife.
Are you finally getting the picture to why I am so upset at the lye's that I was told by your sales team and the lye's that you are saying that there was no rush for these documents?
Also, I just got charged a $10 fee today for something from your company that was never explained to me, so I still don't know what that is about. I told you to cancel your services and refund my money, why are you still charging my credit card. Now I have 3 charges to take to the ADA and to my credit card company to get back.

I was in a difficult situation with a custody case in Maricopa County and The Attorney Connection helped me attain joint custody of my son.
I did not know how to go about getting my rights thru the courts and didn't have much money to get legal help. I got on a payment plan and made monthly payments until it was paid off. I worked with their legal team and spoke to the Attorneys a few times.
They were great to work with and I am just so happy to have my son back in my life!

Complaint: 10325619I am rejecting this response because: So saying I'm making false statements is how you resolve these matters...that is an interesting business practice. All you are doing is denying your actions so you won't have to refund any money. How many other people have you ripped off? Your Attorney Dean was incompetent and was extremely rude to me on multiple occasions as a client and the content of the documents he produced were not usable for my case because he didn't listen when I provided information to him on the case. He was ALWAYS too busy talking (Lawyer love to listen to themselves talk).  I'm not making excuses for the delay, I'm a single parent with active teens and a 50+ hour a week job...I'm limited on time and just a bit busy being a parent. I'm having to take my ex to court again after the holidays and had your company performed you might still have a client in me. Your company completely misrepresented what you would produce and made it near to impossible to ever get the actual attorney assigned to my case on the phone for consultation when required, as in timely. You need to refund my money, I'm not going to back down on this matter one bit, I will not be ripped off by a legal firm that is supposed to be helping people instead of taking from them. This is pretty pathetic.Regards,[redacted]

This customer was provided 16, yes SIXTEEN legal documents, not a "few."  And they...

were the documents required by law for what he expressed to us he needed.  Also, we always responded to any attempts he made to contact us.  With all do respect, his explanation of why he waited so long are not reasons, they are excuses.  Again, this complaint should be dismissed, and not published, because it is not only too long ago, it is false.

I am rejecting this response because:All documents were provided in a timely manner. As soon as they were made available by the JDR Court they were sent over. That was explained multiple times via email and by phone. As for giving me the documents after that fact they were made out to the wrong request. I am assuming nobody read the email and checked the documents for accuracy. As for the legal expert compliment thanks. But I am not an Attorney just an average person. But obviously I paid the Attorney Connection to be professionals and they gave amateur work and did not follow simple request. Services were not rendered and I want a refund.

I am rejecting this response because: I think it's unprofessional to send a bogus application after you took my money! My money was taken then I was told to fill this sheet out. All I got was someone telling me what to expect not representation. If I need guidance as oppose to having a lawyer I would have went here locally or to Avvo for any questions. But to take someone money and claim you did a job because I filled out a piece of paper is bogus. If Dyer would have clearly stated its no refund once I gave my money then I would have no problem in this matter.  But don't do bad business and not making sure your client knows all details and everything is notice that you are not to receive any money back.  This is just a rip off scheme to send a bogus application that I was told to fill out and get no representation but some advice.  I didn't pay for advice I payed for a lawyer to represent me. All I'm asking for is my money. If you guys did some work I would respect this matter but to give you 200.00 for nothing is not practicing good business. You must state all guidelines and go over everything with a client not take they money and say you signed a paper!! Unprofessional and I will not accept no to someone trying to take my money.

Our records reflect numerous conversations between our company and the customer, [redacted], and the cardholder, the Complainant, in which we explained clearly that the services do not include an attorney in court.  Our terms of service also clearly set forth this fact.  As for the...

payments, [redacted] spoke with our company in August and specifically authorized those payments in order to expedite the case.  In addition, Ms. [redacted] later tried to get a chargeback refund with the credit card company, but was unsuccessful, proving that the charges were authorized.

We did respond to the customer's inquiry the same day.  The email informed him to contact our customer support to discuss preparing the additional document(s) he is requesting.  He has not responded to our last attempt to contact him.  For further background, this customer already...

received all of the legal document to petition to establish paternity and custody/visitation for which he originally engaged our service.   We are happy to help him further.  A complaint with the Revdex.com was not only totally unnecessary, it is a rather extreme way to request a phone call from our company.  A simple follow up phone call from the customer to our company at his convenience will suffice.  We are here to help him.  Thank you.

I never called and authorized the second payment that is a complete lie. That is my issue. Is the fraudlent charge of my credit card. I never gave you permission to charge my card which is theft. Why would I call you and give you permission to charge my card if I was getting my son without your assistance. I dont care about your no refund policy. You had no right or authorization for the second charge period. My second call to you was to cancel your service period.

Here are the facts.  The customer was aware of and SIGNED the terms of service  (see attachment- with relevant portions highlighted), a legally binding contract, including an acknowledgement of the no-refund policy.  The no-refund policy is due to the fact that we begin working on...

customer's case immediately, and we cannot get back attorney and legal support staff time expended on cases.  This customer started our services on July 10 and submitted his completed case intake form on July 11.  The attorneys began research and preparation of his documents.  The customer authorized payment of $545 for July 24 to get the discounted price.  The payment processed as scheduled by the customer.  The customer then called, after the payment processed, and said he was considering cancelling.  On July 27, he called and stated the Mom voluntarily gave up custody he doesn't want or need our services any further and stated he wanted to cancel... more than two weeks after he engaged our services.  Neither the customer nor the business can turn back the clock and get the attorneys and legal support staff's time back, hence the refund policy.  The customer signed a legally binding agreement accepting that, and now is asking to undo it.  Just as customers want to hold us to what we agree to, we are entitled to do the same.

I am rejecting this response because: I was never informed by D[redacted] of a no refund policy. I talked to D[redacted] over the phone to let him know my situation and what was my decision. I never received any review or any case intake solution. I was told to fill out the paper and I sent the form in. I had questions to be answered but never received any representation.  I think D[redacted] needs to state that their is no refund policy instead of saying you submitted a payment in and it was in the guidelines. I think its ludicrous for a company to take your money and say no refund due to non work at all. This is a bogus move on a company saying I was giving feedback or any kind of help.  I clearly stated with D[redacted] I wanted a refund and have text messages and voicemails of this guy constantly asking me to submit a payment. I submitted a payment and never was told about a refund policy.  I went threw D[redacted] because he took my payment and credit card information. Once he took payment I was told to call a number who didn't have anything on my case or anything. I was told to fill out an intake form I did and never received anything but a friendly conversation I've been recieving the whole time without any actions. I do not understand how can a company take my money for no work done whatsoever!! If you done anything I would not be asking for my money but I received nothing but phone calls from D[redacted] and no representation at all. I'm asking for my money that's all and it's only fair that I receive it. I'm not happy with what I didn't receive which was nothing. I contacted D[redacted] not the other number.
