On October 18, 2016, I responded to an offer for a VA Streamline loanOn October 19, 2016, we were contacted by someone who identified himself as Brandon *** Vice President, an started the loan process, including running our credit reportsMr*** also sent us an email telling us that were the ideal candidates for the described loanWe completed a loan application, and expected to hear from him the next daySince then we left multiple unanswered telephone messagesOn November 12, 2016, I sent Mr*** and email request the status of the loanNo responseToday, December 17, 2016, we received an email from Mr*** "touching base" with us and telling us that he will assume we aren't interested if he doesn't hear back from us within hoursWe responded by reminding him of the above and told him that we hope he didn't treat other 100% service-connected, wounded in combat veterans, like he treated usThis was a really bad experience and a waste of our timeI never write reviews and would not have written this one had Mr*** not sent today's email, pouring salt in the wound he inflicted

These people will not stop harassing meI have requested that they stop calling at least times (not exaggerating)
I've spoke with supervisorsI've spoken with managers, I've spoken with people in the call centerEach time they assure they will take me off their list, but they continue to callThere is no other way to describe these practices other than harassmentI bought something from them years ago, one time, and they continue to hound meI want my number blocked immediately or I'm going to go to Maryland and show up at their offices I swear to God

I cannot thank Todd *** enough for how smooth it was from applying for a mortgage loan to closing on my first home! No matter how many questions I asked, he readily answered them all with as much detail as needed His knowledge and contacts in the field benefited me greatly throughout the process The electronic option of signing documents was a convenient perk Todd and his team are phenomenal! They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating I will certainly highly recommend Todd to anyone going through this process Thank you so much for being AMAZING!

The Federal Savings Bank is an exceptional mortgage company MrRobert *** was nothing short of amazing! He encountered many obstacles in securing this loan, but he handled each one with great optimism and assurance that everything would work out He was very professional but always made you feel if he sincerely cared about me and understood my needs He kept me informed each step along the wayHe was always easily accessible by phone or email No question was a botherThis young man works extremely hard for his client I will be recommending him to all m y family, friends and colleagues! Also, I'd like to acknowledge his entire team which helped me through the processL***

Very very rude personnel at this bankMy wife and I were talking to the employee there about possible mortgage consolidation and I wanted to understand more details on it, because I did not think terms were that attractive after allFirst, the sales person repeatedly told me that he does not want to speak to me but just wants to speak to my wife insteadThen, we told him we need to think about it a bit more and we don't have time to talk right now as we have to go somewhere, so we can may be talk again in a few daysSo he then cursed me and said: "what's your problem *** Even after I hung up the phone he called or more times asking to speak to my wife againNeedless to say, I cursed him back and told him not to ever calls us again

Excellent banking experience, I do not think any other bank could have done any better with my present situationI will recommend this bank even to my enemiesthat's how professional and efficient they are

I can't help but worry about how legitimate this bank is I responded to a letter about my VA LOAN When I called I spoke with a Dominick *** He advised that getting a lower interest rate than what I currently have was not a problem I received an e-mail stating the same thing I was told what my new P&I payment would be I gave him my personal and loan information and then was called days later and a message was left saying my ** *** REFINANCE with the lower interest rate was approved and to call him backIt was difficult to get ahold of him When we did speak (after calling several other numbers at the bank) he said he had to get my file and would call me back laterHe did call back later but now suddenly the whole situation had changed Yes, I could have the lower interest rate but I would have to pay 2% of the loan amount (it would be added to my principal) and my payment would actually go up I told him that this did not make any sense to me I had done the ** *** REFINANCE before and the experience was not like this There would be absolutely no reason for me to buy down an interest rate just to get a higher payment I told him to forget itBUT, now I am wondering if this is just some sort of scam and now they have my information

Patrick *** was excellent in this case We were always kept well informed, all our questions were always answered, and Patrick was always available to us This was a fairly smooth process, though it appeared that there were a couple of back end communications issues, it did not seem to hinder our process

We were looking to refinance our home to drop *** *** and withdraw some equityWe kept receiving mailers from FSBLong story short we got all the way through the loan process with a man named Fernando ***This included a $home appraisal that we paid for out of pocketAccording to the man helping us we were to close the entire process on January 26th and he would let us know when the documents would be ready to signOn February 1st we had not heard from the man so I emailed him asking if we should pay our February mortgage and credit card bills that would have all been paid off with the refinance days later we still had heard no response from him so my husband called himHe doesn't bother calling us back and sent an email stating they were asking the appraiser to find more comps in our area and that they weren't accepting his home appraisalHe would let us know as soon as he heard back from the appraiser on the comps and would let us know either way if the bank was going to accept the appraisal or deny itIt is now March 9th and he has never called us back or emailed us to let us know what happened with our loanI tried to call his office and the number listed on their website is not a good phone numberI emailed him on March 1st asking for the number to his manager and no responseI remember my husband asking him in the beginning how he would know that he wasn't a fraud and he sent us over his licensing informationTurns out the phone number listed on the actual website is a bad number and now this man has ran our credit, has copies of our paystubs, homeowners insurance information, and many more private documents and he's nowhere to be foundWe hope this doesn't come back to bite us

I have started a new mortgage with The Federal Savings Bank my loan was closed on March
My first loan payment is due on May thirty four days away from the closing date
I questioned the bank about my account and repayment and the bank has informed me that they may or may not be servicing my loan and it may be officially transferred to a final servicer
I was told I will have to send in my payments to The Federal Savings bank via regular mail until that time
Since the bank refuses to open an account for my loan l have no way to service my loan check account balances or make any payments online until the bank decides what they are going to do with my loan
This is very unacceptable as an account should be opened with the bank for servicing and transferred at any latter date if the bank decides to move my loan
why should I as the banks new customer have this loan in limbo while the bank decides what they want to do with my loan thus causing me hardships and stress over

Every mortgage is different and the process involves a number of moving piecesThe key is having great people every step of the way, and the Federal Savings Bank does just thatRates and fees are important, but service and communication are the most critical and this bank excels at both

I owned my first home when I was 25, and owned it for yearsI thought that selling it, just like buying it, would be a nervous, exciting and joyful moment that I would treasure foreverThe Federal Savings Bank in Lawrence MAmade my experience horrible, unforgettable, frustrating and stressfulNot only did they display unprofessionalism by giving us unrealistic timeframes and closing dates, but they were not transparent in their information sharingThroughout the whole process my realtor had to demand answersAt times reaching out to multiple partners involved in the situationThankfully, they were able to get their affairs in order and we did not have to start the process over with a new buyer, but I was willing to do so because they were not taking us seriously and were uncaring about our situationIf you want a positive customer experience, a bank that offers you transparency and peace of mind when you’re buying or selling a home do not do business with the Federal Savings Bank in Lawrence MAAlthough the memory of selling my house will forever be tarnished, I thank God for a great realtor that fought to get answers and provided full transparency regarding the situation
