I have received the replacement...

board and it is damaged. One wheel base has lots of scuff marks and the other wheel base is cracked. It is not usable. It has been wrapped back up in the original packaging that it was sent in and I am ready to return it for another replacement or a full refund of my money. I would prefer a refund of my money so that I can purchase my son another board from another vendor.

the response of powerboard is unacceptable. When shipped, the powerboard was not broken in half. It was in working order. I am not responsible for what happens to an already defective and dangerous powerboard once it leaves my custody, possession and control.A photo of the working powerboard was sent and approved prior to powerboard sending a prepaid shipping label.This is simply a ruse for this disreputable company to bilk consumers of hundreds of dollars. As we all have heard in the news, this past weekend a child and a firefighter died from fire from a powerboard.This company had the audacity to suggest sending back to me in the mail the dangerous powerboard to take to "an electronic shop" to see if they could use the parts.This company should be fined for the highest level of deceit to consumers.I wish to be refunded my money for this item.

I still am in disputer with this vendor.  I did intact get a call from a company representative finally, who was very courteous.  The resolution that I agreed to was that Powerboard would ship out overnight a brand, new PINK Powerboard to replace the exact board that wasn't working.  It has been 2 days since our conversation and I have NOT received the board.  I have since called, and sent an email.  Neither my phone call or email has been returned.
So, I am still in dispute waiting for the NEW board to be sent.

I will not drop this case until...

the business ships the defective recalled replacement to me.  It is too easy to drop a case with a simple response. Shipping the label is not the same as receiving the replacement. Please keep this complaint open until it is actually taken care of in a timely fashion.

A few months after purchase I received a e-mail from Power board about a voluntary recall,
you don't just send it back, Oh no that would be too easy and make sense, you call and when they get around to it they answer (10 or more calls) . Next you have to wait for a e-mail from them with a Ticket # then you submit your Ticket # with a photo of your board and required info, 8 weeks later they contact you with an approval (maybe) and shipping information ( never got that far) and your board would be replaced( no choice of color)
well after numerous attempts to reach them , I got through ...( I'm not to happy at this point) they look me up and tell me they can't verify my purchase was one of their boards (bull sh4t)
She told me the photo was the wrong angle. (Bull st) I pointed out that I bought the board from their website and they sent ME the recall e-mail and the photo I sent shows it's one of their boards. So I politely asked for their address so I could come out and return it in person , they not so politely declined, so thats when I ask to speak with a Supervisor capable of understanding the concept of " Karma /Consequences " or Newtons third Law "for every action there is a equal and opposite re-action" I was then disconected. I believe I paid $599, this was a Christmas gift for my only child, a good kid that never asks for anything. As a result of Power Boards greed, they were poorly made (catch fire) and poor business practices, they fail to do what they promised. (replace or make safe) I'm out $599 and my daughter's out a special gift, the only gift she received. Thats theft in my book. I only purchased from them because there web sight, claiming to be an American company and their board was safe from fire. Lies , Don't do Business with PowerBoard !
