The customer's POWERBOARD was purchased on 12-9-2015 and when it was received to be evaluated, within the Recall process, the board was received broken in half.  The photos that were received prior to POWERBOARD sending a shipping label shows a side view and a top view which has a person holding their foot over the middle of the board covering the exact spot that the board was broken in half.  Because the board is over 2 years old and has been broken in half, it does not qualify for the recall process and is out of the warranty period of 1 year.  We would be happy to provide a $50 discount towards a new UL Certified POWERBOARD as a good gesture.

Not a company you want to deal with... I ordered a Christmas gift for my son it does NOT work and now can't get anybody on the phone. It says they can't take your call and for 2 days it just gave a busy signal!!! They responded once to an email but they will not tell me how to send it back so I can get a refund!! Now they are not ever responding to emails!

I purchased 4 of your hover board combo's at Sam's Club on 11-11-17. On 1 of the carts the front tire fell off and on 1 other one the tire is wobbly and we cant tighten it so it is also going to fall off at some point. I would appreciate your prompt response to this matter as my grandchildren didn't get much use from this gift before they broke.

Do not do business with this company! We purchased one of their powerboards that became part of the recall. They have made it virtually impossible to get this thing replaced.
They first sent us an email the board was being recalled. You had to then Call them to start the process. My call into their "recall hotline" took over 30 minutes to speak to someone who only confirmed our board was eligible. She took my email and said she would start the recall process. I received an email with a link that I had to follow and then take pictures of our powerboard and attach to a reply email to them to to prove it was one in recall. Mind you I bought it FROM THEIR WEBSITE. They had a record of which powerboard we owned. I sent this all on September 12. I waited until Nov 8th to see what my recall status was. Someone finally emailed me back on Nov. 16th stating my board was "determined" to be part of the recall. (NO KIDDING...) The email then said I needed to email them back my name, mailing address and they would then email me when a shipping label was sent so I can send it back to them. I sent them a reply email with my name, shipping address that day. I have yet to hear back from them about this shipping label. I have emailed them on Nov 28th. Dec 12th and called on Dec 14th. The call was never answered. I was sent to a voice recorder to leave a message and someone would get back to me. I left a message with my name, ticket number and asking where my shipping label was. 2 days later, I did get a call back but missed the call. The message left on my phone was to call them back at their 800 number. Nothing about my shipping label... I emailed them again today to find out where and when the shipping label will arrive. My advice to you is DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this company. They are making getting our recalled hoover board replaced nearly impossible. And I do believe it is very intentional as a company to make the whole process slow, difficult and exhausting. This is the part that concerns me most. Please do not buy from them. Look online for another company who is willing to treat, YOU, its customers better!

I purchased a Powerboard online through powerboard.com and in light of recent problems with other devices that are similar (I.e. The devices caught on fire although not a powerboats brand) I tried to return the item. There is a no return policy according to customer service. This information was not displayed on any documentation, etc. In this day, it seems as if a company has something to hide when not displaying such crucial information. I ordered through the manufacturer's site and not Amazon so I could receive the warranty in case something malfunctions. I guess I have learned my lesson to not support local USA businesses that are not Amazon. I would not support or purchase from this business.
