It is with pleasure that I write this positive review for the relationship company.
As a professional women and mother of 2, social time tends to be limited and precious. In using the relationship company, I was able to meet a wonderful partner, friend and future husband.
In going on a first date, it was easy to feel safe due to the screening provided by the company. After our three hour lunch, I was amazed at the amount of common interest, common value, and even common temperment I had with my arranged date. I owe that to the thorough consultation with Elyssa which I believe included a series of personality tests. I feel she has a good knowledge of people and what makes a relationship work.
I could not be more happy.

I want to compliment Aliya at The Relationship Company on her professionalism and her gracious and attentive assistance to her clients. She is a wonderful asset to The Relationship Company.

I signed a contract on April 28, 2015, for 12 dating referrals to be started within 0-6 weeks. To date I have not had one referral, only two excuses. On April 28, 2015, I met with Elissa [redacted],a representative of The Relationship Co. As a result of the meeting I signed a contract for 12 dates over a period of time to begin within 0-6 weeks. I paid $2556. with a personal check. When after 6 plus weeks, I called,I got two excuses but no dates. I sent a letter on July 2, asking that my $2556. be refunded because no services were delivered within the amount of time stipulated on the contract. I have not heard from this co. since.Desired SettlementI would like a total refund for services not delivered. I did this in good faith, but now realize that the company is not a trustworthy business, but a predatory group.Business Response We resolve issues internally through mediation. I signed a contract and paid 5000.00 for a dating service. I supposed to get a referral for a date within four weeks. I did not. I had requested a salary requirement, and the person I finally was referred to did not have a working car. I make 150k+ a year and found it hard to believe that a person that I was hoping to meet through this service would have a working vehicle. The last two never called, and I suspect they were not real people. For 3 weeks now I have been trying to talk to someone to cancel I paid a fee for this dating service ,took a test and was asked questions all that would be used to match me with someone 1 st date ,multiple divorces , I said never married , and no smokers She smoked and was divorced 3 times 2 nd. Date I said someone that likes to workout ,skinny to avg body type , heathy eater , wine tasting etc ,wants no children She was. They are at the sole discretion of The Relationship Company and based on the contractual arrangement between the parties.Final Business Response The Relationship Company works cooperatively with the Revdex.com to resolve a dispute. When we are notified that a client has filed a complaint with the Revdex.com, we place the client on hold in order to review the activity on a client's file. Our focus is on the fulfillment of our contractual obligation. It is also a review of the client's participation in the process and his/her communication with the staff. The Revdex.com facilitates the process of a resolution through establishing, within reason, a timeline for communication between The Relationship Co. and our client. Once we have compiled our findings based on the fulfillment of our contractual obligations and the complaint has been withdrawn or closed with the Revdex.com, we will proceed with one or more of the following: (1) reactivate the client's membership (2) cancel the client's membership (3) continue the hold of the client's membership (4) extend an invitation to the client to review our findings and/or (5) initiate an internal process for consideration of a refund.The determination for a refund is not within the jurisdiction of the Revdex.com. It is at the discretion of The Relationship Co. Customarily the consideration for a refund is based on adherence to contractual obligations by the company and the client. Our contract clearly explains the policy for a refund in addition to other policies and procedures that apply to the company as well as the client. All clients are asked to read and initial all clauses in the contract. The policy for a refund is stated in the first clause of the contract. This clause states if a client cancels his/her membership prior to receiving a referral, the client will receive 1/2 of his/her money back. If a client cancels after receiving a referral, he/she will not receive a refund. The amount of time required to find a special person for a client cannot be predicted. The programs offered by the company reflect this, i.e., there is not a time limit on any program. A client remains with this service until they have received the number of introductions they purchased or until they marry and/or commit to a lasting relationship. In the latter case, they would have to request termination of their membership and/or transfer the membership before we would remove their membership from hold.Other clauses in the contract designate the number of introductions purchased by the client and the guarantee that they will receive these introductions. The hold time that is available is also designated in the contract. All clients are told in the initial interview that written feedback is required following a match. This information is helpful in preparing the next match. According to the contract, we wait for feedback from the client. The next introduction is usually made within 4-6 weeks from the date we receive feedback, although we are required to process matches only as available. If we do not receive written feedback from a client, it is within our jurisdiction to place the membership on hold and subsequently, cancel the membership without a refund. We never received written feedback from Mr. [redacted] on his referrals. Many clauses protect our clients. A membership can be cancelled, without a refund, if the information supplied by the client is misleading or if a background check reveals unacceptable background information. If a client exhibits antisocial, inappropriate or disruptive behavior or attempts to use the service for any improper, immoral, illegal or exploitative purpose, the client membership will be terminated without a refund.Clients may temporarily suspend service through written request for the period of time purchased in their membership. This suspension is at their discretion although clients generally suspend service because they are dating someone they truly like. In the event a client suspends service and does not resume service within their designated time, the company has the right to cancel the contract and the client will not be entitled to a refund.We mailed an invitation to Mr. [redacted] to review the findings of our research. We hit it off right away and knew we were meant to be together. We have been together for over 12 years and married for close to 10.
