If I can give this company a negative review I would! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. First we go the process and the people I spoke to when I first saw their add for a ford focus online was easy. Going to the office was easy. My husband and I go there and was given information about the car but was then told by Luther the Toyotas employee that the car was tested for it to be be “safe” on for the road. I leave with the car payment process was easy I later on take the car out go on the highway and the engine starts to decelerate as much as I put my foot on the gas pedal it did not want to accelerate a big truck was behind me and I almost got into an accident because the car suddenly just started decelerating. Luckily for me there was an immediate exit. We go back to Toyota universe and they gave us a big run around on getting a refund back it took us a week for an approval for a refund we went based on what their sales rep told us which was “Safety” that was guaranteed. We go back to Toyota and they gave us a receipt that said 10-15 business days for a refund which was already odd. A month later STILL NO REFUND, we go back to Toyota and they told us our payment was going to be received today on 01/12/23 at 2 o’clock yet again we remain patient and waited til 3:30 and still NO MONEY. We call them multiple times and was hung up on on a total of 10 times we finally got through to someone who told us that our refund was never processed and we needed to wait yet another 48-72hrs for our refund. We are still waiting. BE WARNED DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! they are a bunch of scammers and unprofessional people who do not care about their word or customer service

Beware of this companyThis dealer involves in lot of advertisement and fraud marketingYou can never trust their adsIt is better to ignore them, as any other Toyota dealer will quote you half the price Their only purpose is to get a business by cheating talksif you did not check somewhere else, you will definitely get a bad deal Don't believe in their promotions they will never honor it

[redacted] has been contacted by the dealer he orginally was in a corolla which we took him out of to make him happy and he then picked a ravHe continues to want to be switch out of vehicles we did it as a courtsey last time and it has only been three months since we have done that and now he wants us to take him and put him in another vehicle which we have advise him we can only do if he is willing to put down a money Which he is not willing to do He wants more vehicle at the same payment first vehicle he saids we hyptonize and this time he just doesnt like the vehicle .We would like for this case to be closed no bad business down here a lot of good faith trying to make a customer happy .Tyrone T [redacted] There as well is appointment set for friday for [redacted] to come in and speak to me

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:because I send them the state inspection on 04/03/ and I after couple days I called my dmv to check the status of the car and it still nothing can't be found .now on 04/15/i receive call from them and this time they say I don't have insurance on car and I told them the day I bough the car I bough insurance on car before drive it home and I provide the seller the copy of my insurance and they say they don't have it to send them another one which I did right the way .before that I call toyota corporation and I speak to them and they say their dealer should give at least days of temporary tag that no dealer give days of temporary tag and the agent call them to get the problem fix as soon as possible and that is why next day they come with the insurance not on car .now they said if I can come and get loaner car I told the operator that I live in [redacted] and she said there is nothing she can do and I email her back ask her that I can get rental car here or loaner car at toyota dealership here if they can get in touch with any of them and she never reply my email.now today 04/23/i receive call from them again saying to go rent a car but my plate will be send overnight in days .so I will go now rent car for day so what about the days I spend home without be able to go to work when they refused to extend the temporary tag and rent me car here .now they are asking me to go rent car for day .its frustrating and ridiculous .I can feel how they discriminate me now and I don't have no other choice left now than to sue them .they need to pay for their action and never do this to anyone else again Regards, [redacted]

I saw a used car on the internet and called toyota universe to see if car (toyota avalon) was still available and if it was did it come with a warrantyI was told by a man name Ahmod that the car came with a day warrantySo of course I came down to look at it and to test drive the carwhen I got down there and talked to salesman (John G [redacted] he told me that car doesn't come with warrantySo even after that I still wanted to test drive car after waiting minutes of questions and paper work just for a test driveI liked car after the test drive, we went inside to talk numbersI told salesman that I would be paying cash for the carThe sticker price was $but after he added all these additions which he wouldn't show me the price jumped to $10,I got the hell out of there!!!!!!!! Thanks for getting me down there on pretense and wasting my time toyota universe

After considering [redacted] response I'm afraid we are not going to be able to satisfy his concernsThere are a total of six repair orders that have been opened since MrJackson purchased his vehicle in February of When he first purchased the vehicle there were concerns he wanted addressed regarding the steering and esthetics of his vehicleWe addressed these concerns at no costThe last visits to our shop have been to repair rims and tires that were damaged as a result of the vehicle hitting curbs, potholes at excessive speed, and other same such scenarios that are beyond our controlThese repairs are covered by a “tire and wheel” warranty that [redacted] purchasedThe company, after too many claims in one year, will no longer allow us to “auto approve” any claims for damageThey now require a claims rep to investigate each claim individually which adds a great deal of time to the processWe have offered courtesy transportation on each occasion but [redacted] has refusedWe have to make multiple phone calls to reach [redacted] at which point he states we do not callI have made multiple attempts to reach an appropriate compensation settlement with [redacted] to apologize for his inconvenience, but either his level of expectation was too high, or he was unable to meet due to personal reasonsIt’s been more than a year now and [redacted] vehicle is repaired and operating as designedI do not believe refunding [redacted] the money he paid for the vehicle appropriate or warranted which is all he has stated he is willing to accept We advised [redacted] to purchase less aggressive higher profile rims that may be more suitable to his style of driving, but he refused as he enjoys the look of the current rimsAt this point I do not see any way to satisfy [redacted] concerns other than continue to repair his vehicle as it requires as per the terms and conditions of his warranty

We met with customer and explained that after months of ownership we are not responsible for damage that occursThe bumper was obviously hit and the tabs on the side have brokenThis is not something that happens after months by itselfWe would love an opportunity to help defray the cost for our customer and help make it affordable, but unfortunately we cannot be responsible for outside influence such as another car bumping into the car and causing damageThat is what insurance is for not warrantyWe have extended courtesies to this customer in the past to help make her happy but cannot see how this could possibly be our responsibilityPlease call me directly with any questions you may have Sincerely, Paul S [redacted] Toyota Universe [redacted]
