Trans Van Lines Reviews (%countItem)

Working with Trans Van Lines was a mixed experience, but in the end the bad outweighs the good. I dealt with a very personable staff member at the outset, but have since had negative experiences dealing with customer service. The drivers were mostly not on time and, although I had a small move, I still expected that my things would be handled carefully - this was not the case. The boxes were in poor condition when they arrived at the new house and multiple dishes were broken; they also broke a floor lamp and completely lost a box that had several things of sentimental value to me in it. When I called customer service to see if there was anything that could be done to get my lost belongings, I was brushed off and treated like an it and, when I called out the person's behavior and asked why she was so irritated at me, she just got more annoyed and defensive. Basically, no one ever even expressed remorse at having lost my stuff and had no interest in helping me find a solution. They did stick to the quote they gave me, mostly I think because I had such a small move, but I would encourage people to look elsewhere - this company does not care about providing a smooth and user-friendly customer experience and, even worse, don't care about taking care of your stuff. Look elsewhere for movers.

Lost A cedar chest. Am unable to get a response from company. Customer service rep. keeps hanging up.
The furniture was delivered the 8 th of August, but the cedar chest was missing. Purchased in 1960, filled with many important documents. Some irreplaceable.

Desired Outcome

Deliver and find my cedar chest

They told me my balance wasn't due until they dropped off my items. I got an email 2 days after they picked up saying I have 48 hrs to pay $1,500.
I was told that my balance wasn't due until they dropped off my items, after 30 days free storage. I got an email 2 days after they picked up stating that I had 48 hrs to pay $1,500 or they would start charging me a fee of $25 a day until it was paid. This was not on the contract and that was not part of the agreement. I have tried calling and emailing but no one will answer my questions or return my calls/emails.

Desired Outcome

I will pay the remaining balance as specified when my items are dropped off. This is what I was told and that is what I expect to happen.

Deliver my stuffs as soon as possible. Trans Van Lines Job number is XXXXXX.
The Trans Van Lines moving company picked my stuffs on Aug 9, 2019 from Greenville, SC XXXXX, and they supposed to deliver my stuffs within 0-7 days in South Charleston, WV XXXXX. However, almost two weeks gone, still they haven't delivered my stuffs.

Now in the new apartment we have no furniture, no clothes, we are living here with bare minimum things. I have requested the Trans Van Lines company to deliver our stuffs many many times, they said they will deliver any time from 0-7 days window. But that window is gone, still they are not delivering our stuffs. Now they are saying they have no estimate when they can deliver.

We want to get our belongings as soon as possible.

Desired Outcome

We want to get delivered our belongings as soon as possible.

Deception, Coercion, Lack of Transparency, Refusal to Acknowledge Delivery Date, Refusal to Disclose where my belongings are
Deception, Severe Coercion, Lack of Transparency, Refusal to disclose location of Belongings, Refusal to disclose delivery date, false information

Desired Outcome

This began with a company called United American Moving who presented themselves to me as "my movers" then deceptively brokered my move to Trans Vans Lines. When I asked United American Movers, over the phone, if there were any fees, they specifically said there were not and put only some of the fees at the bottom of the contract, not all, And did not put the fees in the Fee section where I would have easily seen them. I gave the sales representative a very detailed inventory list, down to every last box and the box sizes. When Trans Van Lines arrived, I did not know who they were as I was never told my move would be brokered. After all my belongings were in their truck, the mover took out his calculator and started asking for more money. At first, he said it would be $200, then $400 then $600 and finally $900. This was witnessed by neighbors. I had put LESS items into inventory, left many of the curb, so the initial inventory list which was extremely detailed wasn't even remotely close, with less items. During this time, one mover was standing outside, smoking cigarettes around my belongings. The movers told me that I literally had to agree to the contract or they would 1) put all my furniture to the curb and drive off and 2) charge me my deposit ($1400) and 3) charge me for loading. At this time, I asked for the movers to remove some of my items to bring the price down to the original items. This was also witnessed by neighbors. The mover refused and started getting hostile with me. At this point, after giving me 3-4 different amounts I had to pay right there and then, he started yelling and waiving a contract in my face. I professionally asked to read the contract. He told me - "I already explained this to you!! You don't need to read the dam contract!! and he refused to let me read it. When I stated I would not sign it unless I could read it, he got in his truck and said, "The company can deal with you - I'm leaving." At that point, I called the police. The police came and if needed, I can provide a copy of the police report and will do so to the Attorney General's office if this isn't resolved. The police gave me the contract and told me I would have to go to civil court. I would lose $1400, be charged $800 for loading, and my things would be on the curb - in the pouring rain - with no place to put them as my apartment was being rented the next day, if I didn't sign. I was coerced, horrified and frightened. I signed the contract under severe duress. Within a few days, I received an email that if I didn't pay $425 ( a completely new amount) within 24 hours I would be billed $175 a day and I had to wire the money. Because I had no bank at my own place, I had to spend a day under complete distress to find a way to get them this money. Then, I received a phone call to "go over fees" I had no choice in the matter but to agree that I understood the fees or they would charge me for storage and not deliver. The fees included things that were never gone over with me during the sales process, prior to them holding my belongings. Then I received a phone call from Trans Vans Lines stating my items were dispatched. I waited around 5 days. Never received anything. I called Trans Vans Lines back. They stated they would "call the driver to see where he was." Approximately a few minutes after I hung up, I received an email stating my move was not dispatched. Trans Vans Lines Moving refuses to give me a straight answer as to what the exact delivery date will be. United American, said "21 days from August 2nd" but then when I said she would then be in breach of contract if it was past 21 business days (Sept. 2nd)she said Trans Vans Lines didn't have any trucks going to New Mexico so she couldn't give me a date. The recorded phone call in which they asked me if I understood ALL fees could have been done during the sales process, BEFORE they took my belongings and money hostage.

Trans Van Lines did not provide service requested correctly. Company damaged items and over charged.
We hired trans van lines to complete a state to state move. On 9/1/19, company loaded truck, upon completion of load in the advised that we went over our allotted space and told us it would be $500 dollars more then what was quoted. With items already loaded we where stuck paying the 500. We were advised that it would be delivered in 14 days. After numerous phone calls and very rude staff our items where delivered on 10/3/2019. We were told by the company that they would be delivering our goods but we found out from the delivery driver that unloaded our goods that our goods had be transferred to 3 different trucks on its way to us. We was forced to pay the remaining balance of the move before they would unload our goods, holding our items hostage until they got paid. Upon unload and inspection many of our items where damaged. They are as follows; 2 flat screen televisions, a book shelf, an adjustable bed base, numerous family heirlooms that can not be replaced, missing pieces for mounting mirror to dresser (which was packed by movers). We attempted to reach out to the company who would not take responsibility. A letter was sent via a legal counselor to try to mediate this problem. All information they requested was sent to them in December of 2018. They requested more information that was provided to them in January of 2019. As of 8/15/2019 no response from Trans Van Lines on settling this matter. This company does not provide the services they offer. Our move cost us $5663.57, the estimate that I was given and on 8/14/2018 was $3243.00.
That being a difference of $2420.57, with damages reaching almost 10,000. This company broke the contract that they signed, and have not reached out to us to resolve this matter.

Desired Outcome

We would like the overcharge of $2420.57, plus our claim of $10,000 in damaged items paid for.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! Trans Van Lines, LLC is not Revdex.com (Revdex.com)) accredited. PLEASE RESEARCH THIS BUSINESS THOROUGHLY! Consumers should consider a business Revdex.com rating in addition to all other available information about the business. The Revdex.com rating for Trans Van Lines, LLC is F as of 8/13/19 because: "68 complaints filed against business. Failure to respond to 44 complaints filed against the business. Business has failed to resolve underlying cause(s) of a pattern of complaints. One complaint filed against business that was not resolved." We contracted with Trans Van Lines, LLC July 2019. Original Moving Estimate: $1515.25. Discounted to $1,195 ($396.01 military discount). On the day of the move, the truck was packed and the driver presented us with additional charges of $1,560.85 for a final moving cost of $2,825.85 - more than double from the original estimate. Note: will not get into intimidation tactics used by the driver and thus we did not contact the office that day or the next few days until our "contents" were delivered to the location and unloaded. Our fear was this company had our items and we were at their mercy while they still had our items. Note Post Move: Office staff is well prepared to brush you off, DISMISS YOUR ISSUES, place blame on the â??consumer, and to over-talk you consistently in conversation when voicing your concerns and lack of understanding additional charges. Staff identifies herself as the "general manager" when you request to speak to other management individuals up on the management chain. Please take observations and comments on the Revdex.com website seriously. In the end - as consumers - we were taken by this business. It did and does not feel good knowing now that we were dealing with untrustworthy, NON REPUTABLE business individuals. Final Assessment: classic "bait and switch" technique. CONSUMER BEWARE

Even 1 star is too much for this company.
Pick up: The people charged us a "Stairs" fee even though there was no stairs to be climbed. We had an elevator in our building and no stairs were involved.
Delivery: The same happened at delivery. There was a $75 charge for "stairs" even though the delivery was to the garage of a single family home. There were NO STAIRS to be climbed.
For delivery, they sent 1 man for the delivery of over 500 cubic feet of stuff. The man made us sign before removing everything from the truck because he was in a hurry. His other option was to leave with our stuff. We told him about missing stuff that he did not make a record of. We could not claim any of it back from insurance. We lost over $500 of material that was missing.
I have tried reasoning with their staff, but to no avail. They are rude and not helpful at all. I tried getting an explanation for why only 1 man was sent and why no record was made, but it was pointless. Everyone I spoke to was a "MANAGER". Apparently you cannot speak to anyone else. And there is absolutely no help at all. They will "inform the operations team to make sure it doesn't happen again" but nothing else can be done. I should have believed the other reviews I read- I was a fool to ignore them and give in to their sales persons sweet talks. They are by far the least helpful and the most rude company I have ever worked with.

trans van lines picked up my household on 7/ 1,2 3 .it is 8/3 and I have not recei8ved my stuff. via email said delivery truck and would be7/31-8/3
trans van lines received deposiy of $25

I contracted with continental moving and storage, they send me Trans van lines, estimate was $6800 but when they came said it about $9000

Desired Outcome

I want my household property that trans van lines picked up on 7/1,2,3 email stated delivery 7/31 -8/3

Items picked up in New York 6/29/19 and sitting in a warehouse in New Jersey. All dates I have been told for delivery has not happened.
My items to be moved were picked up on 6/29/2019. This is my first experience at moving as my husband has passed away. After all was said and done, I found out the people at America On The Move was a Broker which I learned when men came to put in truck. That was when I was notified I was to deal from now on with Trans Van Lines. When a week went by with no delivery, as on the contract 1st Available Delivery Date was stated 7/5/2019. I called the following week and was told the truckers and helpers wanted a long weekend with the holiday so they were behind and I would get a call soon as to delivery. Following week I called and was told something about 10-12 days after "some ficticious" date would be my delivery. Called after that and was told delivery would be between 7/17 - 7/24. I called 7/23 to let them know the driver hadn't called me about the delivery time. I was told a person would call me as they wanted to work with me. Never got a call. 7/24 I did not call. 7/25, today, I called and was told my goods were sitting in a warehouse in New Jersey waiting for a truck to come to Florida. No delivery date was given as she didn't know when a truck would be available. Trans Van Lines would give me $50 for
my trouble. I told her it was a slap in the face. She said she was sorry for the mix up but that's the way it was. Needless to say I have reminded them if I did not want my items I would not have had them shipped to me. One reason was for being late was they gave me a lower rate than normal. That was $.38 per something I can't make out but I am billed $.60. I have had my fill of excuses and just want my shipment. But does not look like I will be getting it any time soon.

I booked this thru a *** at America On The Move and have since spoken to a ***, *** and today the gal head of dispatch. I am very frustrated as I went into this honestly thinking I was doing right. SO WRONG.

Desired Outcome

I just want my shipment. The $50 offered to me for my problems is a slap in the face. It has almost been a month without my goods. I would atleast expect they would forgo more than $50 for all this trouble which they admit is their fault.

The quote was triple the total and there were major damages and numerous lost items totaling $7K
I am writing to express my utmost disappointment with your company and services. I was given a quote to move my inventoried items from Key West to Santa Monica, CA. The quote was approximately $2K. I got other quotes and was warned that companies often quote low and give hidden fees later. I called *** who assured me he was adding items to ensure that I would fall under the quote and not have any additional fees. My move in its entirety came to $5362.30. Needless to say I am not thrilled with the fact that the amount tripled; however, I could deal with that if there were no issues. However, this is not the case. What I cannot deal with is that I spent this money and have almost $7K in lost or damaged items. Over half of my furniture is damaged or lost which is absolutely unacceptable. As someone in the service industry (Hotel Executive Management), I would hope that this is a one off for your company and my only hope is that you will do the right thing by me in the end. I am looking for you to find my lost items and return them to me and reimburse me for the damaged goods through your insurance. I hope that you can help resolve this in an expedient manner so that I can settle in and not have this nightmare of an experience drag out longer than it needs to.

Desired Outcome

Finding my missing items and replacing those that were damaged or replacing all items if missing items cannot be located.

The sales department lied about services, the quote was $1K under, a window was broken, I have no clue where my items are. No return calls/email
My complaint is inclusive of multiple concerns. First, I was lied to by the sales rep ***. I inquired as to whether or not the moving company would provide a direct move vs. a storage/travel move. I was told that it was a direct move and my item went directly into storage in Chicago. Second, I was that my items would not be carried with other families belongings, (also known as piggy back)- this was also a lie. The amount quoted during the contract was about $1,000 less than the final total given at the time of pickup. When pickup occurred and my family inquired about providing more of a down payment to ensure that the move would be made in a timely manner- we were told that I could pay the additional amount on the back end.
Upon finalizing the move, the movers broke my back-door window. On 7/12/19 When I called the office to make a claim, I was told that 1) There was only 1 claim per move and 2) I would need to call back on 7/15/19. I explained to the office that I was trying to list my house on the market and that the repair would need to be made. I was told that an operations manager (***) would call me to discuss. *** never called me back.
On 7/15, I called and left another message for ***, no return call. On 7/15 I called back multiple items to see when my move would be finalized- I then spoke with a dispatcher by the name of *** who informed me that they would not release my items until I paid $700 more- this was the first time that I heard anything about needing to pay more money, (despite the fact that my family tried to pay more money during initial pickup). I went ahead and made a payment of $725.00 since I was being charged $25.00 per day for holding.
On 7/16/19, I called again to see when my items would be delivered. I was told I would need to make a payment of 70% before delivery would be available. I explained to them that I had already made a payment of $725.00 and would be happy to pay the entire amount if I could find out where my belongings were (Chase bank confirmation: XXXXXXXXX).
On 7/17/19, *** called me back to confirm that my payment was received and that the would be loading the track on 7/18/2019 with my items. On 7/18/2019 *** called me back to confirm that items were loaded onto the truck and that I should be receiving an e-mail from dispatch in the next day to confirm date of arrival of my belongings.
On 7/19/19, I checked my e-mail, no e-mail from dispatch. On 7/20/19, I checked my e-mail, no e-mail from dispatch. On 7/20/19, I called the office again to see where the e-mail was or my belongings. I was told by Mayneth who answered the phone that she did not know and that I would need to call back on Monday, 7/22/2019
This is the worst customer service I have ever received. I would like to know where my belongings are and when they will be delivered. I would also like a refund.

Desired Outcome

First I would like to know where my belongings are, 2nd I would like either a full or partial refund and I would like the window repaired that the movers broke. I don't have my personal items yet, so there is not telling if they damaged any of that.

Bait and switch pricing (total price double the quote). Poor customer service. Destination workers inept and high.
Our move with this company was the worst experience we've ever had while moving! While quotes are given based on what you THINK you have, plan on it DOUBLING on moving day! We were shocked! I will say that the Chicago based workers were very pleasant and hard working. However - the workers at the new destination were lazy, uncaring and destructive of our property. Additionally, they were high. We even caught them smoking pot in front of our new neighbors house!! Instead of taking boxes to the designated rooms that were clearly marked, they dumped everything in the garage until my husband caught on what they were doing and made them do their jobs by taking to the correct rooms. This is only part of the problem with this company. They were a week later delivering than what was agreed upon. And after the items were delivered, we noticed a lot of stuff missing and only after we paid them 100% for the move did they tell us that some of our stuff was still in Chicago because there was another family on the truck and there wasn't enough room for all of ours!!! No one told us this and we had to wait for the next delivery to come to the area to be delivered in order to get the remainder of our things. Also - MANY things were broken and missing. Most of the boxes were crushed and a lot of the plastic bins were broken also. We have some antiques that were damaged as well. In particular, I have a 100+ year old rocking chair that was hand made by my great grandfather. I watched it being wrapped and packed, but upon delivery, it is broken and the seat is missing.
They will not take one item off the truck until you pay them the balance and you have no choice. On top of the double the quote price we had to pay, we had an issue with the semi not fitting into the complex we moved to. (not their fault), but then charged us $1800 CASH to rent smaller truck and deliver it. This is where the items had to have been broken. They were upset that they had to offload, reload and offload again.
The move from Chicago to Florida (and we didn't have a lot of furniture - just a lot of boxes), was over $10,000 plus the $1800 for the smaller truck. I will NEVER use this company again and I discourage everyone else not to use them either.

Desired Outcome

We will be filing a claim with the company for the broken items. In addition, we are requesting $3000 refund for what we feel is recoupment of outrageous pricing and inaccurate quote.

My persona belongings were picked up in sugar Land TX on July 1st, today no one can tell me the status or where my personal belongings are located.
Time in transit offered for my move was 14 business days, next Monday July 22nd will be day number 14 and there is no assurance that my household goods are arriving to me on due date.

Each time I call there is never a concrete answer, I requested to talk to the Owner *** (Avi) *** but wast told he is not in. Asked for *** and she is indisposed.

There is no clarity, no commitment and no sense of urgency.

I have been in hotel since arriving into Miami from Texas, with a wife and child and I a running out of money to pay for my stay. I need my household goods delivered to my Florida address immediately.

Desired Outcome

I want my household goods delivered to me no later than July 19, 2019. This is critical and I will escalate it if necessary. I have been contacting via email and phone daily, no one is resolving the situation.

They misrepresented service, failed to honor contract with broker, failed to deliver furniture on time based on our understanding of contract.
Contracted move with a brokered who bid job out to this company. Original cost was increased by over 50%, delivery date was changed to be July 15th, when expected delivery was July 1 to 6th.

Furniture delivery status is unknown and delivery time still has not been promised. I have tried to talk to manager/owner with no success. daughter is sleeping on air mattress, no furniture, most of clothing somewhere on van or warehouse.

Pray they are honest and deliver furniture by 15th and in good condition.

Desired Outcome

Want furniture delivered by 15th in good condition and they can keep the over billing -

A complete scam. The price I was quoted was not adhered to, they have various high fees for absolutely everything and the original contract disappears once your deposit is received. My items arrived broken and the boxes were in terrible shape. DO NOT USE!

Dangerous and unprepared practices of heavy large appliance item pick up and improper practices on delivery demanding $500 from recipient to complete.
After entering and confirming the details of all dimensions and weight on my one item move for a Viking 48" range/stove I booked and paid in full for the service. On 6/17/2019 two movers with Trans Van Lines arrived to pick up the item. During the move they tilted the range/stove on its side without first removing the iron grates on the stovetop resulting in the crashing on the newly finished hardwood floors leaving several dimples and two scratches into the stain.

Upon transit I was not given an update on the status despite numerous attempts via email and phone. Afterwards I discovered from my recipient of the delivery that the driver was "belligerent" and demanded $500 to deliver the item to their home. This was after I already paid in full $1,050 for pickup and delivery.

These are unacceptable practices for a moving company.

Desired Outcome

An apology to the recipient and a refund for the poor services and damage occurring to my floor.

they no showed and blocked me. and took my money
took my money no show no call

Desired Outcome

na

Lack of commitment to contracted schedule and total lack of consideration for customer schedules

Re: Move Order # TXXXXXXX and (Trans Van Lines XXXXXX)

I have never been so disappointed in and upset with a business as I am with yours. I won't say your "moving coordinator" *** lied to me, but he certainly over promised and way under delivered. After speaking with him on May 21, 2019 to have some goods picked up and shipped to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, he committed to have the goods picked up on Sunday May 26th and delivered on or about Thursday May 29th.

Never once did he tell me a third party based in Patterson, New Jersey and Hollywood Florida, would be the actual moving and shipping company. He assured me that if there were any issues, I could reach him on his cell phone any time. Unfortunately, once I paid the $506 payment, I never heard from him again and he never returned any of my phone calls, even though the ensuing shipment and delivery of my goods was totally screwed up.

As of this date they still have not reached my brother-in-law in Ft. Lauderdale.

Here is the sequence of events, once I found out Trans Van Lines was the shipper:

The pickup was committed to be on Saturday, May 25th between 1 and 4 pm. At 3:30 I called Trans Union and was told it would be between 4 and 7pm. No one called that evening. There was no pickup or call back.

On Sunday, I called and was told the pickup would be between 1 and 4pm. At 5 pm that evening the driver called and said he was in Patterson Nj and had truck problems and would be here at 730 am Monday if, I was available, which I was.

On Monday I heard from no one until I called at Noon and dispatch had the driver call me to let me know he had truck problems and would be coming in the afternoon.

The pickup was completed finally at 630pm. The driver had to keep a record of what was picked up on a yellow legal pad even though I had to sign the official Trans Van Lines contract forms.

The order committed to deliver from 2 to 10 business days from the time of the pickup which was in a notice I received on June 3, 2019 (the order can no longer be viewed on line, they deleted access to it soon after this date).

I received emails from Trans Van Lines on June 3, 8 and 13th informing me of delays and expected delivery dates. The final communication from them said expected delivery would be between Jun 15th and 19th. This did not happen and calls to dispatch were never returned.

Finally, the driver called my brother-in-law in Ft. Lauderdale on June 20th to let him know they were having truck problems and could he accept delivery on Saturday between the hours of 2 to 7pm, which was fine with him. No such delivery was made nor did any one call him.

I called Trans Van Lines when they were available Monday June 24th at 9am and was apologetically told they were having truck problems in Hollywood Florida and would let me know when delivery could be made. There was no anticipated date.
What a disgraceful way to run a business.

Apparently, this small shipment is not worth your or Trans Unions "quality service".

Evidently all *** cared about was getting my $506.

Notice I am writing this letter to you not Trans Van Lines (I will send a copy to them), since as far as I am concerned you are the ones responsible for this shipment.

I will be sending this letter to the Revdex.com, (and posting it on-line), If you would like to dispute any of these facts please call or write me.

I am respectfully,

*** B. ***

Commit to and meet delivery schedule at customer desired convenience. Apologize for service failures and refund payments

Irresponsible Business Practice
The company initially told me regarding my long distance move my packages would be delivered 5 to 7 days from chicago, it XXXXX to Hampton, Ga XXXXX, the packing Team Leader ask me to sign bill of Lading date of delivery, but when I said May 1, bc my ticket back home was for April 30, 2019, then He said yes but still I must put 4/25/2018, and they called me 4/25 saying my things would arrive 4/26/19, while I could not be there to make sure all my packages would arrive, as a result they gave away my business books had my personal information and a list of hard to replace items

Desired Outcome

- TRANS VAN LINES & BEATRICE - "BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID" - Here's my story and warnings to ALL what I call a real live Day & Nightmare. First, I was living in Chicago, IL and on 02/15/19, I travelled to state of Georgia where my son a Veteran who served in US Navy in the GULF,was having serious medical problems. My son wanted to remain living in Georgia so in support of him I made plans to move to Georgia. I did a online request for estimates from moving companies for charges to locate me from Chicago to Georgia. During the month of 03/19, I began to plan my move for 04/24/19, I received out of all the companies a representative named BEATRICE she's the one who REELS you in for TRANS VAN LINES she fought long and hard for my business although I was still talking to other moving companies BEATRICE Of TRANS VAN LINES, would call me many times during each day, she'd ask me the name of the others I was considering and she would go looked them up and call me to say these businesses were not reliable how they contract strangers out to handle your possessions. BEATRICE, Of TRANS VAN LINES, talks a GOOD GAME, she becomes almost a friend, the month of April 2019 she gave me seeming her personal cell phone number and she BEATRICE began to called me day & night saying TRANS VAN LINES never contracts out anyone and how careful they in handling my goods, so finally she wore me down and convinced me to hire TRANS VAN LINES company to do my move. BEATRICE arranged my move on the date I requested the 24th of April and my delivery would be 5 to 7 Days from the move, I took all that in consideration and planned my return from Chicago to Georgia Flight 04/30/2019, Great that'll work out for me, I'll be back in time to receive my items. Let me say I'm a senior and I had to fly to Chicago, IL on 4/15 to pack my things working tirelessly day and night to get things boxed up and ready for the movers by April 24th, it was physically and mentally a overload, but I did it! Moving Day arrived 04/24/19 YAY!!! 5 moving men showed up while I still I was packing, they worked well and fast and I began singing praises that BEATRICE Of TRANS VAN LINES was a GOOD decision on my part. Then the Team Leader of the movers approached Me when they finished packing everything with the BILL OF LADING He ask me to sign the agreement to put the FIRST DATE they can DELIVER so quite naturally as I stated above I will not be at my new residence until about the 1st of May and I was initially told 5 to 7 days, so my flight scheduled 04/30/19. And I loud the 1st of May and the Team Leader says to Me, Oh you must put 04/25/19ïïïïïïïïïI'm saying I won't be there, "Team Leader" (Oh that's just formality it's just how we must put it the next day) so okay I sign the 25th of April. Daymare Begins: I receive a call early the next day 04/25/19, saying my items were arriving 04/26/19, and I began to question the caller how they are doing this when I won't be at the address until 05/01/19, they say We told you the 25th, and you put 04/25/19! I tried to reach Beatrice, but could no longer reach Her or the Team Leader I repeatedly tried to contact anyone at TRANS VAN LINES, they'd got the majority of the MONEY and had locked ME OUT of Any Contact with them. On the 26th I had to have a person who knew very little about my items I had to jump through hoops getting her a key to my home, but she went to the address at the time they were to arrive they didn't show up until 1am in the morning Friday April 26th. The two people who finally show up I was told by the lady I hardly knew and had to pay $100 to try her best to make sure ALL my things were received she described them as unfit looking to carry the packages and TIRED they were not the men (Hispanic) who packed my things in Chicago, IL but 2 tired flimsy looking guys who'd been DRIVING ALL DAY AND ALL NIGTH! When I got home and went through every box they broke so many items. Nightmare: TRANS VA
