Trinity Relocation Group Reviews (%countItem)

Moving is always a stressful adventure but Trinity Relocation Group made it smooth and easy. They were ultimate professionals with top notch service. The workers were courteous and very efficient. They were very easy to work with and were kind enough to help my boyfriend carry extra stuff in from his truck as well. Highly recommended!

When I called Trinity Relocation Group and talk to *** he misled me from the start. I gave him a description and SIZES of my furniture, but in the list was something different in many cases .....he let me believe I would get my deposit back if I had to cancel my move.

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Apr 16, 2020

Leon,

We sent you numerous emails documenting in writing the exchange and the signed paperwork PRIOR to placing your deposit. This documentation showed that you agreed to our cancellation policy prior to any deposit being taken. You electronically signed your estimate on March 18, with the first available pickup date for April 15. You called our company a week prior to your pickup to cancel your move. Our cancellation policy, which states "Estimates may be canceled and deposits are fully refundable if the customer cancels the estimate/order within 72 hours of placing their reservation (minus 10% merchant processing fee). From 72 hours after placing the reservation, up to 48 hours prior to the client`s first available pickup date, any cancellation request will result in 50% refund. Any cancellation request received within 48 hours of a customer`s first available pickup date will result in forfeiture of their down payment. If placing your reservation within 5 business days of your first available pickup date, the deposit is non-refundable for scheduling and routing purposes. All non-refundable deposits can be utilized towards a future reservation within a 12 month period from the date of original reservation."

We also have an email from you, saying that you understood that you will only be receiving 50% back. To call us crooks? Completely unfair. We are a business trying to survive the same pandemic you are referencing. We offered to put the move on hold, and credit this 50% towards your future move as well.

Trinity tried to change the price the day before pickup and demanded more money.
I spoke to Dylan on the phone about moving from Oviedo, FL to NC on February 2nd. We went over everything in the house that we had and he told me Monday he would draw up a quote and get back to me. On 2/3/2020 Dylan called me to inform me that it would be $2204.62 estimated to move with everything stated. I paid a deposit through electronic check for $1097.11 this was job number BXXXXXXX. I was told we would split the rest of the bill half on pickup and half on delivery both being cash. On Friday 2/7/2020 another sales rep Bruce called to go over the inventory again and changed the story on the quote. He stated that there was too much stuff and we would have to pay additional money even before pickup and weighting began. He also told us we were already out of the refund period. The reference number was XXXXXXX as well but had a brand new total of 3709.54 before they had seen anything or weighted it. They demanded to be paid $2109.11 before pickup totaling $3709.54 . I stopped them there and asked them to cancel since they already changed the price before anyone laid eyes on the job without any changes in inventory. They waited until their refund period ended and tried to hustle more money out of us without even weighting or seeing the moving and with no changes in the amount of the move.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund of the deposit for $1097.11.

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Mar 06, 2020

I have attached both the original estimate and revised estimate that the customer is referring to. Trinity Relocation Group is not in the business of changing up the price on a customer last minute, but Bruce contacted the customer Mr. a few days before his move to go over his final inventory list. At this time, the customer changed his inventory list dramatically increasing his estimate from 2780lbs to 3833lbs. The customer had the option to stick with his original inventory list, or go with the revised list and he chose to cancel the move all together.

Customer Response • Mar 09, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
There was never any option given to keep the original price. You guys called less than 24 hours before pickup demanding more money. NOTHING had changed on inventory list at all. You guys were nothing but pushy and rude on that call as we tried to explain nothing had changed. Calling 24 hours before the pickup window and changing the price constitutes being in the business of changing prices. You should be in the business of doing the right thing and refunding customers when you're in the wrong.

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Mar 10, 2020

Please refer to the two attached estimates that were provided on the previous response. Trinity Relocation Group did not change the price, the customer himself updated and changed his inventory. The estimate went from 2780 lbs.(397 cf.) to 3833 lbs. (548 cf.). The customers rate per pound always stayed the same at $0.43 per pound. The customer changed his itemized list of what he was moving as you can clearly see under the inventory list. We do not provide an inventory list, the customer provides us a list of what is moving and we price the job accordingly. The customer completely changed his inventory list which is what caused a change in price. The customer was told he can go with his original inventory list if he would like, but if the movers arrived and he was in fact moving more and larger items that the price would obviously go up. Please also refer to our cancellation policy in the contracts provided attached.

There was never any changes in the inventory at all. And there was never an option to go with the original weight. You demanded more money or the deal was off. Maybe you should listen to your phone conversations.

Hi, I just moved from Dallas to Michigan and was very disappointed to find out that Trinity Relocation Group, LLC is a moving broker.

If you are looking to move, DO NOT hire a broker like Trinity Relocation Group, LLC base out of West Palm Beach, Florida, Hire a local moving company near your home.

You should search for local moving company in your area and they should come to your house and survey and provide the exact amount to be moved. DO NOT get quotes over the phone. They will tell you what you want to hear and you will end up paying more when the movers arrive. When my movers arrive, they are from a local moving company in your area and you will have another contract with them. Once the movers arrive, I had additional charges from the mover so I tried calling and email Trinity Relocation Group. Trinity Relocation Group have been silent and have yet to return any of my calls or emails.

They lied to me that I shouldn't go with Safe Relocation because those guys are brokers and are not insured. They also lied about access and distance from the moving truck to your door, lied about saving money and to to Best Buy or Target to get TV boxes so you can pack yourself and save money. I went to Best Buy, Target and Walmart and all of them do not keep any TV boxes because they take up space which makes sense. Basically I listened to all of their suggestions on ways to save money on packing but ended up wasting my time going around to all of these places.

I hope this helps those who are planning on moving, coordinating and paying for the move yourself.

I contracted this company to move my personal items from FL to CA. They stated that my items will arrive between 7-10 days. No items delivered yet.
On November 4th, I spoke with *** from Trinity Relocation Group and I contracted his services to move my personal items from Orlando, FL to Chino, CA. *** told me that my items will arrive between 7-10 days. At the time I was asked to pay for a deposit of $698.97 so that I can contract their services . I paid my deposit and the items were picked up on Thursday, November 7th. At the time I was asked to give another payment of $560.00 cashiers check.

Its been over 10 days I have not received any feedback on where my furniture is or delivery date. The purpose I contracted this company is because I needed my items right away. I have contacted *** several times and his responses are as follows:

1) 10/13 - I am not in front of the computer/ Then never replied back
2) 10/14 - No answer
3) 10/17 - No answer
4) 10/18 - He said he was headed to the office Ill call you soon, but never called back.

My items that are in their possession are very personal and valuable and now I am concern about their condition.

Desired Outcome

At this point I want my items back in Florida at my sisters house and my money to be refunded in full.

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Nov 20, 2019

We are unsure where the client is getting this information from. We reviewed all phone call recordings, and the client was told multiple times that the delivery time frame for cross country moves is up to 21 business days from their First available pickup date.

We have also included a copy of their signed estimate agreement, where the client manually checked a box agreeing that all pickup and delivery timeframes are never guaranteed. If they client would like her items delivered back to her pickup address, she will still be required to pay for the time and services rendered.

We will continue to answer the clients calls, and hope she does the same for us. Our last attempt to contact the client was 11/18. We will also reach out to the actual moving company and see if they can expedite the delivery.

Customer Response • Nov 21, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The person that I spoke to on 11/04/2019 stated that delivery would take 7-10 days, that they could not guarantee the exact date. That is how that timeline was verbally presented during that sale conversation.

I stated that it was important to get the items ASAP and he said that they could be there on that same week but that I needed to pay the deposit and sign the documents right away.

When the movers showed up on to pick up the items on Nov, 8, they stated the same timeline to my sister, *** No one ever mentioned 21 days for delivery. If they would have said that, I would've never signed up an Agreement with them.

The last contact on November 18th that they are claiming, came from me texting *** at 7:AM am pst, were he stated " Im heading to the office. We will call soon.

At 11:16 pst I still had not received a call and I texted "any news". He replied "sorry not yet . 30 mins please. Then I never heard again from him or anyone else.

I have written e-mail letting them know that if I didn't hear from them that I was going to press charges and I receive a reply stating that my items are in the process of being loaded in the truck and that with the distance it can take 14-21 business days for delivery. My items were picked up on 11/07/2019. (I have uploaded the e-mail as well)

My facts are correct and I have uploaded a screen shot of my phone conversation. So they need to check their facts.

Still at this point , I still don't know where my items are at, I need a delivery date on when they will get to Chino, CA. ASAP. If its 21 days they only have 6 more days left to deliver.

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Nov 22, 2019

As we stated previously, our company never guarantees delivery dates. Our latest update from the moving carrier was that the truck would be arriving in the next 7-8 days. Her original pickup window was 11/7-11/8, with her expected delivery window between 7-21 business days.

We are willing to provide the client with a $25 credit. But at no point in time was or has there been any date guaranteed by our company.

Customer Response • Dec 01, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is my last attempt to solve this matter before I file legal action. My items were picked up on November 7th, 2019. Even based on the company statements written above, as of today, we are passed *** 21 days.

Today is December 1, 2019 and I am still pending on a call for delivery of my items. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

At this point I just want my items and no more excuses from these people.

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Dec 06, 2019

The customers items have been delivered to her delivery address.

Trinity made misrepresentations to me regarding how they would perform their services, they damaged and lost my property, and refused to resolve.
This is a moving company complaint for job number BXXXXXXX. I spoke with a salesman named *** who worked for Trinity Relocation Group on July 28, 2019. He told me that not to hire another moving company that I was considering because the other company was a broker and Trinity was a carrier. However, the truth is that they only own one truck. This appears to be some sort of scam so that Trinity can mislead customers by saying they are a carrier when, in actuality, they are almost exclusively a broker. I confronted *** upon discovering this fact shortly after providing the initial down-payment on July 30, 2019. *** convinced me not to cancel, promising via text that my property would arrive safely in Denver. The company that Trinity hired, Patriot Relocation, promised to arrive at my home in Cleveland, Ohio between 10 and noon the last day of August, but they were still in another state at 2 pm. They did not arrive until almost 9 pm and did not finish packing until after 2 am, at which point they requested more money in cash at that hour. I refused. Additionally, while Trinity told me to pack all of my property except for my furniture, upon arrival (and after I obviously had already packed everything and it was after 9 pm on the last day of my lease) Patriot told me that none of the items that I packed myself would be covered by insurance. This was clearly fore-shadowing of their intention to destroy my property. When my property arrived, all of the boxes, many of which were brand new, were smashed and cracked wide open with my property hanging out the side. It looked like they had been thrown down the stairs (I have before and after pictures of the boxes available). Obviously, there were broken items inside. Further, there were chunks taken out of most of my wooden furniture and scratches on most of my metal furniture (including my lamps and bicycles). Finally, while many of the stickers were missing off of my items, two less boxes than were supposed to be delivered were delivered. This was reported to the company at the time of delivery and was written on the receipt before they left. However, a month has passed *** we have still not seen the return of our missing boxes. We have now unloaded all of the boxes and have identified many of the missing items in those boxes. I reached out to Trinity who told me to make an insurance claim, but that they lose boxes all of the time and that they may not find them. I told them that insurance should be for damage or loss of property beyond their control, but not for willful misconduct or negligence. Indeed, their ONLY job, and the entire reason that I hired a moving company, was to get my property from one place to another, preferably in the condition in which it was entrusted to them. They not only damaged and lost my property, but they charged me PER POUND for property that was never delivered and will not even offer to refund me the price I paid for the POUNDAGE of my property that never arrived. Instead, they are content to let time pass *** I will accept a minimal settlement for my property rather than actually complete their job and get my property to its end destination. I am dissatisfied with the negligence with which my property was treated and the resulting damage. I am upset with the fraudulent misrepresentations made by this company to induce me to both enter into a contract with them and to not terminate the contract with them. I am upset that they have either intentionally or negligently converted my property and have continued to deprive me of my property for over a month and are making little if any effort to return the property to me. I am upset that they refuse to refund me the price per pound for the undelivered property, the delivery of which was the purpose of the contract. I am upset that this company continues to treat me like a hostage and as though they owe me no duties to return my property or take care of my property while it was in their possession.

Desired Outcome

I seek: (1) A return of my property. Specifically, I seek the return of the two boxes over which Trinity and its agent Patriot continue to wrongfully retain dominion and control in a manner inconsistently with my rights; (2) A refund for the price per pound of the transport of the two boxes that were never delivered; (3) Reimbursement for any lost or damaged items that were caused by Trinity's, and its agent Patriot's, intentional misconduct or negligence; (4) any other remedy available through the Revdex.com to address Trinity's, and and its agent Patriot's, false claims and tortious acts.

We are aghast to hear about your negative experience using our services. As a moving broker/coordinator in this particular move, we try and do our best to vet our carriers and ensure the client is getting the best possible service.

It is clear in this particular move, rather than alleviating your stress it has almost been exacerbated. Our company will continue to follow up with your carrier, with whom your insurance claim is filed, and advocate on your behalf. Additionally, we would like to extend a $100 credit to shine a positive light on your negative experience.

Customer Response • Oct 18, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
(1) Please detail how you are attempting to locate my boxes. Sending one email to Patriot is insufficient. You have converted my property. You are equally, if not more, responsible for failing to return my property given that Patriot was acting as your agent. The longer that my property remains out of my possession, the greater the damages. It is the duty of the party taking the property of another to make reparation to the party who turns out ultimately to be injured, by placing him, as to the property, in the same situation in which he was before the trespass *** committed. As you know, my boxes contained Bar Review books valued at approximately $800 (that I planned to use to prepare to take the CO Bar Exam in a few months and which I will need to replace), 2 motorcycle helmets, a bike pump, 3 decorative pillows, dozens of other books, and more. This is to say that if you do not locate my boxes, and quickly, the claim against you for conversion may be quite large.
(2) Please detail what action you plan to take against Patriot in response to this Complaint.
(3) Please detail what action you plan to take if you and Patriot fail to locate my boxes and WHEN you plan to take this action.
(4) Please also refund me the price per pound of the undelivered items. It appears that the $100 is a gratuity to put my experience in a more "positive light" and not the rightly owed refund for services that you failed to render. You failed to deliver many pounds of my property, for which you charged me per pound to move. I should be refunded this service fee for a SERVICE that was never performed in the form of a return of the price per pound of these two boxes, including a refund on any taxes paid on this charge. This is a separate dollar amount than the amount you must return to me for the VALUE of my property itself.
(4) Please note that while I will accept a $100 gratuity payment from you, I do not accept such payment as a settlement of the claims that I have against you. It is clear that my claims exceed $100. I continue to seek the return of my property which has been wrongfully withheld from me for over a month. I continue to seek compensation for the services that were not rendered. I continue to seek compensation for damaged property. And I continue to retain the right to pursue claims against you under contract and tort theories for Trinity's acts of intentional misconduct and negligence.

Theft of services
I was lied to from the very beginning on several issues but the 2 biggest being:
1 - "It's a pay by weight - we estimate high based on DOT standards but we will weigh the truck and you won't owe as much if anything at all at delivery" - I was told this more than once by 2 different people but this is absolutely NOT true!!! I took off several LARGE items (front load washer/dryer with pedastals; dining room table with 2 captains chairs and 6 regular chairs; a queen mattress and box springs plus a lot of little items like vacuums, brooms, fans) and added on 16 totes and it RAISED my price by $2300- again he said we have to estimate 49# per tote but we're gonna weigh this so it will be okay - you probably won't owe anything at delivery. I was counting on this so I wouldn't owe so much and that did not happen and they will not process a refund.
2 - "It's loaded onto a trailer and stored on that trailer at point of origin until called for" - this is also a lie - it was loaded onto a "rented" trailer, taken to Dallas (instead of origin of Amarillo), unloaded into a storage building, then re-loaded into another truck prior to delivery so it changed hands several more times than necessary resulting in several items damaged/broken.

Desired Outcome

My quote was for $4304.86. When I took off large items and added an a couple of small items, it RAISED the price to $6550.42. I was told they estimated high but truck would be weighed so I would only owe based on weight so this was a high estimate and I wouldn't owe it. the truck didn't get weighed so I requested a refund of the difference from the jacked up price back to my quote - $2245.56

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Sep 27, 2019

The customer was given an estimate for her move from Trinity Relocation Group. The customer gave Trinity Relocation Group a list of items she was moving, on that list was 146 pieces. When the movers arrived for pickup, the customer had a total of 210 items. Due to the increase in items, the customers price was increased. I have attached the estimate, and the signed bill of lading from pickup to support the reason for the additional charge.

Customer Response • Sep 30, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
There were 147 items picked up and delivered - not sure where they are getting 210.

But the biggest issue is they lied - they told me my "estimate" was based on approximate weight and that the truck would be weighed and since their estimates were high, I would not owe as much at delivery - if anything at all. That was a HUGE lie and cost me over $2000.

Customer Response • Sep 30, 2019

Document Attached***
Here is a copy of the inventory list - before - and at delivery - showing a total of 146 items. . .

I would like to file a complaint against Trinity Relocation Group and their address is 2300 Palm Beach Lakes BLVD West Palm Beach, FL XXXXX. They were the brokers in my move and lied to me many times and worse connected me to a moving company that has a history of 17 Revdex.com complaints in the last 3 yrs.

Desired Outcome

In my opinion, they 9,200 I paid them should all be returned because they lied, provided no service and didn't listen to our needs that were outlined at the beginning of our engagement and hired a scam moving company to move us. I have lots of attachments that I can include that gives tremendous detail to what happened.

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Sep 10, 2019

Upon pickup, the customer had additional items and packing. The customer agreed to a flat rate for his move. At this time he agreed upon an agreed flat rate with the foreman from Century Moving. At that point, the move was no longer quoted by space or weight. Trinity Relocation quoted the customer based on the items and packing he told us over the phone, but when the movers arrive the job was much larger than we had previously discussed.

Customer Response • Sep 11, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Because they hired a company known for being a company that scams people for their money. They didn't do their job as a broker by hiring a company like this. They also lied numerous times throughout the process that caused this to happen.

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Sep 16, 2019

Trinity Relocation Group utilizes a 7 step vetting process for any jobs that are brokered out to other moving carriers. Please elaborate and provide supporting documentation.

Customer Response • Sep 19, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
When we agreed initially *** let us know that the move would happen on the dates we had said we needed. You then changed those dates without letting us know. He also let us know that the company Great American Movers would be moving us and we were never notified that it had been switched to a company that has awful reviews in mymovingreviews.com and has 17 Revdex.com complaints in the last 3 years. There is literally no value you added to the process and connected us to a company known for scamming and for those reasons you don't deserve to be paid anything.

55" Samsung QLED Smart TV lost as part of moving my house hold items from Frisco TX to Rancho Palo Verdes CA with Trinity Relocation Group
Shipment ID # XXXXXXX
Sales Rep: ***
Payment Method: E-Check, Personal Check, Cash
Move Date: 08/05/2019
Delivery Date: 08/17/2019
Model of Lost TV: Samsung QN55Q7FN
Description of Lost TV: Smart TV FLAT 55" QLED 4K UHD 7 Series
Make: 2018
Purchase Date: 03/12/2019
Other details: The TV was picked up by the movers sent by Trinity Relocation Group from my home in Frisco TX on 5th Aug 2019. It was picked up with other household items. It was the latest version of Samsung's QLED Smart TVs. I bought this TV on Amazon and paid $1,190.74 including tax. This being a smart TV had my personal information stored on the Apps that it supported like Netflix, Amazon Prime and other streaming applications.
Except for this TV, all other items picked up from my house including an older smaller Samsung Smart TV was delivered on 17th Aug 2019. I suspect foul play with the TV here because I had issues with the people that had come to pick up the stuff. My iPad charger went missing after they left with my stuff. Also, they forgot to collect the personal check and instead of coming back and collecting it, they arm twisted me by threatening to put my items on hold and made me pay the same amount by credit card over phone. I never give credit card details over phone, but I was helpless as I could not afford to get the shipment delayed as I have 2 little kids and managing without the house hold stuff in the new home in CA would be very difficult. The 3 guys did not seem trust worthy at all and I suspect foul play with the TV since it was a brand new latest model.
The 1st week after delivery I called Trinity to report the loss and they squarely blamed it on another company (All Over the State moving and storage) who they had sub-contracted the move and asked me to simply file a claim and call their support desk. I filed the claim and also called all possible numbers for both Trinity and the other company but to no avail. In most cases they wouldn't pick up my call nor did they return my call based on the voice message I left. Finally in the 2nd week after delivery they answered my call and said the TV is lost and I have file claim and wait for compensation. There was still no update on what actually happened with my TV.
I don't know how they can so easily lose a 55" TV and ask me to simply file a claim. I have personal details stored on the TV and there is no way to know who it will end up with and how it can be misused. I request Revdex.com to kindly help me with getting a fair compensation from Trinity.

Desired Outcome

I am expecting to get my TV back in the original state that it was when picked up on 5th August. If not, i am expecting to get a full refund of $1,190.74 for the TV. I do not know how to put a $ amount on the personal data that is now vulnerable to be misused, so i'm expecting to get at least the actual cost of the TV.

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Sep 10, 2019

Trinity Relocation Group is very sorry to hear of the customers loss of their TV and the customers frustrations regarding this matter. This job was brokered out to All Over the State Moving. Since Trinity Relocation Group was never in physical possession of the customers items, we do not handle insurance claims for the customers missing item. The customer would need to go to movingclaims.net and file an insurance claim under the company All Over The State.

Customer Response • Sep 11, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I DO NOT ACCEPT THE RESPONSE FROM TRINITY.
I was not told during the discussion with the sales person from Trinity that they will broker out the job. I was in fact told very explicitly that Trinity have their own moving trucks and so they will be doing the move themselves will full control on the move. This was told in response to my question as to how their delivery time frame is so short (3-5 days average was quoted by their sales person). During one of the calls, their sales person asked me who the other businesses are that I had quotes from and when I told the sales person the names of those businesses, he told me that those guys are just aggregators and will definitely broker out the job once I pay and will have no control on what happens after. I was clearly lied to by the sales person. They can go back and listen to the call logs to verify this. I would at least expect them to get their partner All Over the State moving to look into this and provide me a resolution rather than just wash their hands off everything. Lying about the service you provide is not a good practice.
I was even overcharged by the company that Trinity brokered to do the move. On the day of the move All over the State moving personnel who came to pick up the stuff hiked up the price by $2,086 with no change in items list. Here again Trinity has chosen to not take any responsibility. Trinity had estimated the cost and now if they think their moving partner were right to hike up the price, then I would say Trinity conned me by giving me a low estimate on purpose just to earn my business and then washed their hands off of everything. This is very irresponsible on the part of Trinity and is not acceptable. Also, simply losing an expensive TV and taking no responsibility when my deal was clearly with Trinity makes me think if there is nefarious business going on behind the scenes and Trinity and their partners or their employees are hand-in-glove in profiting from it.
I have attached the bill of landing and inventory list that shows the comment about the lost TV and the price hike of $2,086.00. I have also attached the amazon invoice for the TV showing that it was a 55" Smart TV bought in Mar'19 and had cost me $1,190.00.

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Sep 16, 2019

Trinity Relocation Group is more than willing to advocate for you upon request and provide information for filing an insurance claim.

Customer Response • Sep 17, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am ok with Trinity advocating on my behalf, but until I get an actual resolution to the below listed 2 issues from either Trinity or All Over the State Movers, I will not accept this as a proposed solution that I can agree to. Once there is an actual resolution, I will accept and close this complaint.

Issue 1: Increase in actual cost from the original estimate of $3,474 to $5,560.68 (size estimate increased from 684 to 1200 cubic feet) when 2 out of the 3 companies involved in the move agreed that the total size of the items shipped was not more than 750 cubic feet. As a resolution I need a reimbursement of at least 50% of the increased cost which translates to $1,043.00.

Issue 2: Brand new 55" smart TV that has my personal data on it and costing $1195 lost during shipping potentially due to foul play. I am looking for at least $800 (current used value of the TV) as reimbursement.

First they give you a 'special quote' to get you through the door, then readjust said quote if even so much as a small item is added to the initial list.

The driver said my inventory weight was below their expectations, so Trinity basically charged me an additional $300 something for no reason at all. No accuracy or professionalism, you can tell that they aren't fine tuned of an operation. Too much paperwork hassle at time of move.

The drivers wound up arriving 3 HOURS late to the final destination.

Well, at least I'm only using them this once. Wouldn't ever again though.

We found this company on the internet. The beginning with these people were very helpful. Once they got you hooked and paid, they wanted to know nothing. Not often were you able to speak to the same person twice. They hooked the move to Mosley Van Lines, which we found after the fact has a complaint list a mile long and a 1 star rating.
What started it was Trinity calculated the CF of the items to be shipped, which by my calculations was pretty accurate. Plus there were no additional items added before the time of pick-up and by some miracle the items doubled in size after the truck was loaded. My cost doubled, otherwise they would not deliver.
One storage bin was labeled fragile-glassware, do not drop. When it arrived it looked like they played soccer with it, luckily only a couple of glasses were broken. A mirror that had been bubble wrapped and wrapped in a moving blanket, was shattered.
The big problem, there were a set of bed rails that join a headboard-footboard, were lost. I was told a check would be sent to cover the replacement, 2 weeks, no check.
I would recommend very closely the hiring of Mosley Van Lines directly or through Trinity Relocation, who got their money, and then could care less what had happened.
A couple of the previous reviews (not the 5 star) are also very accurate.

Mover have not delivered our belongings and we had to spend additional money on hotels and purchasing personal belongs
Bad to worse to Insane!!!
On June 10 *** Quality assurance manager called me to review the moving list and double counted several items causing the original estimate to go up by 3,500 dollars. And told me not to worry since the truck would be weighed and the difference would be adjusted on my final payment at delivery.
June 15 - Movers arrived - The truck was small and only half of our belongs fit in the truck. Also, it took more than 2 hours before the two movers would start the move. Around 6PM, I was told that they would bring additional help. By 8 PM it was clear that moving truck was indeed small. Now half of stuff was in the truck and the rest in the house to matters worse we had hurricane coming the next day.
June 16 - after several phone calls to the Trinity and the folks moving our stuff, I was told that they would unload the exist small truck and come back to get the rest of our belongs. I asked why won't they just get a new truck and was told by the guy moving our stuff that Headquarters won't authroize. Later that day, I was told by the same guy that they were told to stop all work due to the weather. A few minutes later, I had to leave my house because we lost electricity and without basic items like towners, coffee maker, refrigerator, etc.. so we spent the next 3 days in a hotel which Trinity would only refund us for one night.
June 18 - Same guy, same guy came back to finish the move. At the end, the mover guy wanted me to give him a tip for all the "great" work they had done (what a joke!). I told him that I didn't have cash and all the money went to pay for the hotel, food, gas etc.
June 20 - Called Trinity to see if they were on track to delivery our belongings by June 25th and was told "yes".
June 25th - Waited all day for the movers and no one showed up! I called Trinity and was told that they had 3 to 5 business days from the day I was available to receive the mover.
June 26th - Called again, now ***/*** tells me that given the distance Trinity have 10 business days to deliver our stuff. And since they hired Van line movers, they would have to wait to see when Van line would have a truck available.
August 01 (Friday) - Called this morning, was told that still no update and that when movers were ready I would receive an email. This after I had already paid close to 8,000 dollars (initial and pick up payment)

Desired Outcome

Deliver our belongs as quickly as possible and reimburse us for additional cost of hotels, chairs, mattresses, cooking items and other items purchased while we were waiting to receive our belongings.

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Aug 06, 2019

I have attached a copy of the customers signed contract with Trinity Relocation Group. Customer was not given any guaranteed delivery date, and the contract states that delivery can take up to 30 days past the customers first available delivery date. The customer was given the information today that delivery should be taking place in a couple of days. Customer is not owed any compensation for staying in a hotel.

Trinity Relocation Group did not fulfill the terms of the contract to move my belongings from Michigan to Utah. TRG admitted this via phone to me.
Relocation job number: BXXXXXXX

I contracted with Trinity Relocation Group (TRG) to relocate my husband and I from Spring Lake Michigan to Draper Utah. Our scheduled pick up was July 5, 2019 and delivery occurred on July 14, 2019. TRG is a relocation company and a broker company. My initial contract was with TRG until they subcontracted the work out to ABC Moving USA. The contract with TRG clearly states: Disassembly of all standard furniture required for safe transportation and Reassembly for all items disassembled by the movers on the day of pick-up.

ABC Moving USA, who was subcontracted by TRG, did not disassemble or reassemble our belongings. We did not have any complex belongings where the contract states that a specialist would be needed to do the disassembly and reassembly we had our bed frames, mountain bikes, dining room table, couch, etc... When the contract states that they are required to do this. My husband and I did it ourselves because the movers stated that they did not do this service. Further - when ABC Moving USA delivered our belongings, they were disrespectful, left furniture on its side and in the middle of hallways. Additionally, the mover from ABC Moving USA said that the job to deliver our belongings was too large for himself to handle on his own and he asked a friend for help - someone who was not employed by either ABC Moving USA or Trinity Relocation Group.

I contacted Trinity Relocation Group about the bad service and breach of contract and they stated that I needed to file a written complaint. I did this on July 14, 2019 - the same date our furniture was delivered by ABC Moving USA, the subcontractor of TRG. I did not receive a response from TRG until I called multiple times on July 19, 2019. I talked with a customer service representative who stated that TRG clearly did not meet the terms of their contract and apologized for the inconvenience. She stated that she could offer $150.00 for the inconvenience out of our total bill of over $3,500. I did not accept this offer as they have a serious breach of contract.

As a consumer, I have earned my money and I do not appreciate when my money goes to a company that does not meet their contract AND to a company that uses labor they don't employ. As a consumer - I am incredibly frustrated and feel cheated. Trinity Relocation Group breached their contract with me, admitted it, and then offered less than 5% off the bill for my inconvenience. That is not acceptable.

Total Payment Amount: Estimated $3,500
Payment Method: Partial on credit card (deposit) and remainder through cashier's check paid upon delivery.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking a refund for services provided by Trinity Relocation Group. They breached their contract and admitted to the breach.

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Aug 07, 2019

This customers job was contracted out to another company, ABC Moving. Trinity is offering the customer a $150 credit that the customer was not happy with. We have contacted the carrier ABC on the customers behalf but any further compensation would have to be requested from the moving carrier, not Trinity Relocation Group.

I requested Trinity's help with a move on very short notice. I needed to be moved within the week and was worried they wouldn't be able to help me but they came to the rescue. They gave me a quote right away and scheduled me all within that same call. The men that arrived on the day of my move really took care of business. They didn't slack off at all and it was clear that the safety of my belongings was their number 1 priority. I would strongly recommending using Trinity Relocation Group.

Here is our review of the broker Trinity Relocation Group:
1. We were looking for a carrier. The sales rep *** stated that Trinity is a carrier, and he phrased it in a way that implied they were only a carrier. He never mentioned that they were also a broker, which ultimately led to three different companies becoming involved with the move. Simply put, Trinity charged us $1700 dollars for their "estimation fee", which would not have existed if we worked directly with a moving company.
2. Sales reps stated over the phone that shrink wrap is complimentary, when in reality, the shrink wrap costs extra. Trinity provided misleading information on potential costs, shrink wrap is only the first.
3. We repeatedly asked what potential costs to expect over multiple days and no warning was given for the $200 packing fee per glass item. We sent Trinity pictures of the items in the house to be moved (which clearly pictured the glass dinner table) and no warning was given.
4. Once again, after sending pictures of the house and included items - nobody mentioned that the live plants wouldn't be shipped.
5. I called Trinity repeatedly to confirm how many movers would arrive, and they all stated 4. In reality, only 3 arrived.
6. Trinity rarely replied to emails unless they needed paperwork/signatures for payments.
7. The final price was $2,277.23 above the estimate. Granted, an underestimate is expected, but this seems out of proportion especially when considering the hidden fees.
8. Sales reps said we could stack pillows onto couch, but movers highly recommended not to. Trinity's sales reps should be familiar with what movers want from their clients, and should provide information that conflicts what the movers recommend.
9. We have contacted Trinity repeatedly about our frustrations in hopes that we could both walk away satisfied. 2 weeks later, Trinity never reached back to us, and we are forced to post this upset review.

All in all, their sales rep claimed that they were a carrier, withheld information about hidden fees, repeatedly didn't hold up to claims and took a $1700 cut for it.

Granted, Trinity paired us with a good moving company, Cross Country Relocation Services, who were experienced and moved our stuff well.

Trinity Relocation Group really did a great job! They were phenomenal! Not only were they careful with our belongings but they also made sure to treat our home with respect and even made our kids and pets feel comfortable. We had a lot to move but they charged us a fair rate and their movers never complained once. Thank you so much Trinity! You're amazing!

Up to the date I was supposed to move, no one at Trinity could confirm that the movers were coming. Literally, the day of, no one at Trinity was sure if any carrier was coming. I was worried and frustrated and even called another moving company, that is, until a carrier truck actually showed up. The move from a one-bedroom apartment ended up costing too much, again, for just a one-bedroom apartment. The reason is that Trinity Relocation Group is actually a broker company, not a carrier. But they advertise themselves as both. This is not the case. Again, Trinity Relocation Group is a Broker company. The actual carrier, Star USA had their own paper work forms for me to complete in addition to Trinity. So you're signing several forms on the actual day of the move from the carrier. The price also increased greatly. Star USA actually said I was taking up more cubic feet space on the truck and raised the price more than $700, which puts you in a bind, because at this point, all your items have been loaded on the truck and so you have to agree to the ridiculous rip-off charge. I was shocked. So the estimates that Trinity gives you are not real, doesn't even come close. Trinity is the middle-man, just the broker here. So you're paying two companies and getting ripped off.

Also note that it can take up to 30 days to receive your furniture. YES. 30 DAYS, ONE MONTH. That means you will be sleeping on the floor for a long time. My advice is to READ THE FINE PRINT OF THE ESTIMATE THAT TRINITY GIVES YOU CAREFULLY OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I waited for my items for two weeks.

On the day my furniture arrived at the new location, the driver was nice, but he was alone doing all the work himself until two more helpers showed up a little later. This was not professional. The truck was also massive, huge, like a semi-truck. For people living in a small apartment complex, this is a huge problem, because the company will have charge more if they cannot reach the entrance of your building at a close distance. The driver got out the semi-truck and walked around the perimeter to see if the truck could fit. Luckily it did, with much room to spare.
Some of my most attractive items went missing. These items got lost in transit. Why? Because the truck Star USA used to load my furniture was not that same truck that arrived at my new place. So your furniture is going to be moved probably over and over again and things will get lost. Then you'll have to file an insurance claim and that takes a long time. The problems are endless.
I do not recommend Trinity Relocation Group because there is too much uncertainty that comes from booking a move with them. The huge price increase just for adding a few items to the initial estimate and the fact that there is no set day and time to pick up or drop off your furniture is awful. Plus all the waiting for your items to arrive is just not worth it. Trinity makes its own business irrelevant. There is so much they don't want to take responsibility for. I am NEVER using a broker company for any future move I make.

Quote / contract was deceptive
The company misrepresented themselves as service provider.
Quote / contract was deceptive
The company misrepresented themselves as moving service provider.
They sent another company called "We Care for You" without notifying the customer. The movers were acted unprofessionally and showed up without any packing materials whatsoever. The customer services was extremely rude and unaccommodating.
The quote included professional moving services and $114 worth of packing materials.

Additionally, the movers demanded additional 25% on top of the quote even those the packing material was under the quote. They could not provide an answer to where my belongings are being taken. The dispatch was not open at 8pm to assist. This whole transaction is underwhelming and an unacceptable business practice. I expect Trinity Relocation Group be responsible for the entire transaction and refund.

Desired Outcome

Refund and remediation.

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Jul 23, 2019

Trinity Relocation Group is looking into the complaints from the customer. As previously stated by the customer, Trinity did not preform this job. The sales call was listened to and Trinity Relocation Group told the customer we are both a carrier and a broker, so Trinity was not deceptive. The customer was notified before pickup that We Care For You was preforming this job. Trinity Relocation Group has requested the paperwork from We Care For You so we are able to assist the customer further and go over her charges. The customer had additional items that took up more space then estimated.

Most legitimate movers charge based on the shipment's weight. A few moving companies charge based on volume of your cargo, measured in cubic feet. It's much easier for a moving company to overcharge you if they calculate based on cubic feet, which is why this practice is illegal in many states.

Please check your calculations. Since the total inventory of boxes was below the quoted price, there is no reason for the quote to increase over 25%. See below confirmations

TOTAL MOVE COST 1929.81$

DEPOSIT (PAYED 6/18/19) ACH 913.28$

The statement says: Customer has been refunded full amount of deposit collected by Trinity Relocation Group

I am not aware of any refunds. Please advise.

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Aug 08, 2019

The customers delivery charge of $1173 was completely waived and covered by Trinity Relocation Group(913.28 was original payment to Trinity Relocation Group) and We care for you movers. This resulted in a $0 balance upon delivery. No further compensation will be given.

Miss representation of company and what they provide and also incompetent customer service and movers who tagged my things!
We were initially quoted us $2600 to move a 2 bedroom and not only could they not tell me when they were actually coming out as we were NOT TOLD your company uses a 3rd party movers which basically have nothing to do with you!! They ended up calling us 2 hrs before the movers were supposed to show up when they claimed they would notify us 48 hrs ahead of our 3 day window! In the end they ended charging us $4200!! I was so upset I cried but couldn't cancel it as the movers already had my things and I had to be out that weekend. *** and *** are *** and took our deposit for commission for THEMSELVES and refused to return our calls after he got his money!! I'm never going to use you're company again and this incompetent company has turned me off movers for any future moves! You guys are scammers!!! I basically paid for them to trash my things and couldn't even deliver it to my apartment without trying to upchsrge another $500!!!Look up how expensive our move was!!! Job# BXXXXXXX under ***. IF YOU DIDN'T ALREADY KNOW I HATE YOUR COMPANY!! GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!

Desired Outcome

I want a refund!!!

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Aug 06, 2019

When the movers arrived to pickup the customers items, the customer had 115 total items. The customer only gave us 88 when we gave an estimate to the customer by phone. The movers presented the customer with a revision on move day, for the additional space the customer was taking up on the truck and the customer agreed. The customer could have chose to take the original 88 items at the estimated price if they preferred to do that instead. The customer did not call us until after the move and after signing off on the revision and having the truck loaded. At that time, there is nothing we can do when a customer agrees to a revision for additional items.

Total misrepresentaion of total charges and more than half our stuff was broken. We had to sign the agreement to get our things back! One of our rugs was lost and never recovered.

In this case we paid trinity a $1700 down payment which they took as their payment. For that amount or any amount of money they should be the ones responsible for the actions of their contractors. They grossly misrepresented what their company does. The amount of money we paid in total was o er $4100. The moving company did not charge a large amount for the extra items. Further more after they received their money I was no longer able to review the contract. It was not emailed to me . It was only accessible on their web site. And then on out there was no communication. They did not inform us when the movers were to arrive. We were extremely overcharged by trinity and deserve some sort of refund on their behalf and from the movers contracted. This has been an extremely shady ordeal. One I will never forget and one that action should be taken by lawmakers. This is the first time I have been conned and I feel helpless in this matter. Please do not let them get away with this.

Trinity Relocation Group Response • Aug 14, 2019

I have attached the contract that the customer signed with Trinity Relocation Group. The customer is correct that an initial payment of $1685.85 was made upon booking the move. That cost went towards the final move cost. As previously stated, the movers arrived and the customer had many additional items they had not told us about over the phone. The customer agreed to this revision. The customer is not due any sort of refund, and again is encouraged to file an insurance claim if the customer has a damaged item. I understand the customer may be frustrated that this move ended up costing them more money, but the customer agreed to that revision and Trinity Relocation has in no way not honored our initial contract with the customer.

DO NOT USE THEM! They are a broker company and totally ripped us off! The guy initially quoted us $2600 to move a 2 bedroom and not only could they not tell me when they were actually coming out as they use a 3rd party movers, but they ended up calling us 2 hrs before the movers were supposed to show up when they claimed they would notify us 48 hrs ahead of our 3 day window! In the end they ended charging us $4000!! I was so upset I cried but couldn't cancel it as they already had my things and I had to be out that weekend. I'm never going to use them again and they have turned me off movers for my next move. Do not use them if you want a smooth move. I hate them!!! When we finally got our stuff half our things were bent and broken!! I basically paid you to deliver junk!! I want my money back!!!! Look up our job and see how expensive it turned out to be!!!
