False information provided "before" you pay to tease you to want to pay. They then nickel and dime you on everything after initial payment. They use YOU to validate and clean up their data. It's a scam and rip-off. You could get this information available for free on the web.

Truthfinder is a scam and a waste of money. The information I received on the one report I ran costing approximately $34.00, got me less information than what I had already found for free. There are photos of this person all over the Internet, yet the report showed 3 photos, none of which were the correct individual! This is a worthless piece of crap and they're should be a law against robbing people.

What a [redacted]ing Waste of money! I buy a month subscription and it wants you to upgrade your subscription to get the rest of the report!
And P.S. THIS COMPANY SHARES YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS FOR SPAM!!!!!!
WTF Man!?!
Any one who is thinking of "investing" in this company DON'T ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!

Totally misleading and false data.

Be very careful on cost, the basic stuff is just that, very basic -- if you want to upgrade the basic it will probably cost you more money ( about double +)---they keep hooking you in with add on cost for more information. It is a bait and switch program . After a few phone calls they did rebate my $23.00 additional charge--ending up with a 26.00 charge for the basics. Not a big fan of this site.

Waste of time and money. I did a $1 trial subscription. Tried to find myself. I have a John Smith sort of name, and the screens don't automatically allow you to refine your search beyond first name, last name and state. I got hundreds of hits but none of them match my specs. I tried a few people I know. Got lots of out of date information on one, and couldn't find any information on two others. The searches are annoyingly slow. They were rapid in returning my $1 trial subscription money after I phoned to complain.

This company is a joke. Not only do they sell your e-mail address the second you give it to them, they refuse to stop sending spam. This company should be put out of business for bad practices. I have begun forwarding every spam I receive because of them selling my email address back to them and charging them $1.00 USD per spam to process and delete it. I doubt they will pay even though I sent them an agreement that stated if more spam comes you agree to pay $1.00 USD per spam to have it processed by me.
This is absurd, I should of used a throw away e-mail address. False advertisement as well.

I tried this service out, simply to look up details on one person. No useful information was obtained after a very long wait. I couldn't find a way to cancel on their website, so I responded to my welcome email and requested they cancel. I was billed for 2 months, and called to cancel, and they said it was too late to cancel for the 3rd month. So I'm now paying $81 bucks for nothing. When you call, they put you on hold for extended times. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. It appears to be a billing scam.

Do not give this site your email address!

I sign-uped up but had not yet paid for search with my credit card, as I decided not to pay at the last minute. Thank God I did not yet give them my credit card info (especially after reading all the bad reviews)! However, I did give them my email address on their website and I used a fake name. Well, the very next day, I was bombarded with spam emails over the next week.

The way I know Truthfinder.com gave out my email address to numerous companies (without my consent), is because those companies sent emails to my email address with that same fake name I gave to Truthfinder.com! Do NOT input ANY personal info about yourself at this website, whether you end up giving them your credit card info or not.

I have managed to keep my email spam free for years (a miricle I know), until I gave it to truthfinder in the initial "report creation" phase of their scam, I closed my browser when they required my credit card to go on. The next day I got 3 spam emails, the day after that I got 13, it has been averaging about 4 a day since then. They are all the type that come from different random domain and addresses. There is no doubt that they sold my email to a list.

This site is a scam.
I wondered across it as an ad on Facebook, so I figured id experiment with it to see it's accuracy. I reached a point along the process where I needed to pay $27.87 to see the full details. I figured, ok why not....
I was unimpressed and felt like I threw a little money away...oh well.
Come to find out they automatically place your payment (PayPal) on Auto-Pay. Ughhhhh!!! I just finished filing a dispute with PayPay to resolve this scam.

My recommendation...just stay away from these scam artists. Don't waste your money or time which will be needed to go through the dispute after they steal your money through Auto-Pay.

All information provided was incorrect, also they sold my email address to third party websites, I went from zero spam, to over 600 & counting. This website is pure junk!

The information they spend 20 minutes making you wait for and charge you $30 to view is so basic you can use a free search engine to retrieve it. Ridiculous. Then you get a pop up every two minutes after already purchasing access to the report trying to charge you an additional $18 for "Premium" access in order to obtain any substantial information. Total scam. I couldn't remember if this was the same service I tried several years ago and realized at that time it was a waste of money until I saw the report just now. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. IT IS A SCAM and a WASTE OF TIME! GUARENTEED!

They sold my e-mail address. I now get a full box of spam everyday.

I was misled by the website that offers information on a person for a monthly fee. After paying the fee, the results from the person look-up did not include the information promised - but with more money, I could upgrade my account to see the information. I feel this was a classic bait and switch, promising information, only to require more money.

Went to Truthfinder to look up something but never went through with the payment process. I know they talk about having no control over third parties, but I am getting tons of emails from advertisers to the email I gave Truthfinder. I can understand this if I paid and there should be an acceptance option to third party advertising. Their opening disclaimer states nothing of third party advertising. Think about that before you even search.

This is a company that engages in totally dishonest scamming. They advertise a "free" product and then claim you have subscribed to a monthly service that goes on until you take steps to cancel it. What they do is worthless.
