After a previous complaint about not receiving a bill from SJG for six months, and calling numerous times to address the issues, and being told I had a $0 balance on my account, to later receive a bill for the previous 6 months. I was under the impression that the issue was resolved, and I was compensated with a meagerly $50 credit, or so I was lead to believe. I received my current months bill, which should have reflected the $50 credit. The credit was reflected by a credit for $50, then a charge for $50 listed as the same title, thus, negating the credit. After attempting to call the customer service line twice (10/19/2015 at 4:15pm and 10/21/2015 at 4:09pm), and having the automated service indicate that there were long call waits, I opted to set up a call back time. I was prompted to choose a day for the call back time. The automated service then indicated that there were no available call times, and disconnected. I then called the Customer Service representative that had issued me the original credit, once on 10/19/2015 at 4:19pm and left and message and again on 10/21/2015 at 4:07pm after not hearing back from anyone. Not only can SJG not get their billing under control, they cannot handle customer service, nor can they answer their phones or call customers back.I wish to be compensated for the original $50 from the initial incident and compensated once again, with a bill credit for this complaint. I have never been late on a bill, or not paid and have made many conscious efforts to reach out to the company and pay my bill, even when there has not been a bill sent.

Contacted customer and went over bills. Advised all verified readings this winter except for November 2014. Compared usage from this year to last year and only used 11 cubic feet more of gas this year.
