break-word;">Dear *** ***,
This e-mail is in reply to your dispute with the Revdex.comIt appears that you were enrolled in our variable rate program and Verde did experience several rate changes as energy prices fluctuated.
We have been informed by your utility company that your account will no longer utilize Verde Energy USA for the supply portion of your electric service. Your service will be returned to your utility on 2/6/We have lowered your rate to our fixed offer of $for any remaining billing cycles with usYou should see that rate on your final bill with VerdeIf you do not, I will refund you the difference for that last billSimply reply to this email addressWe are processing a $132.90 refund for the difference in rate from your most recent billing cycleYou should receive that check in the mail within 10-business days

As a final gesture we will issue another refund check for $to lower the effective rate on the June bill and thus have provided billing relief on a total of bills
We can do no more
Verde offered to give her another billing adjustment to cover a second month but she declined our offer. She was on a variable rate offer which can change based on market conditions. She received her check for $and her account has been dropped and will leave service with Verde at the end of the current billing cycle on 5/21/
We sent the following email to the customer
MrHickey,
I reviewed your recent inquiry
You
were enrolled in a variable rate offer with Verde Energy beginning on
6/4/10. Your initial rate was
$0.989/KWH and we lowered it to
$0.0929/KWH in January 2011, to $0.0899/KWH in January 2012, to
$0.0850/KWH in July 2012, and it stayed at that level until January
when it increased as a result of Verde's supply costs increasing. So
you saved money for over a year period
Even though you dropped your enrollment with Verde as of
3/14/we will issue you a billing adjustment check of $which
lowers the rate on your last Verde bill to $0.0869/KWH. You will
receive this check in approximately weeks

Tony Menchaca

We are all set, as indicated we had a follow up to our initial offer
This inquiry is resolved. A copy of our emails from yesterday is attached:
That
is weird. The rate difference amounted to $on 1,803KWH of usage.
I added this to my last offer of a second check for $for a total
of $187.45. You will receive that check in approximately weeks to
resolve this

Tony

Thanks TonyI look forward to the check
We think our $refund offer is very equitable. We previously extended the initial month fixed rate to a 7th month
We sent the customer the following email today:
*** ***,
I reviewed your recent inquiry
Your
account was originally enrolled under a variable rate offer and entered
service with Verde on 8/4/11.
A copy of the Terms of Service for your
account is attached for reference. Although you were on a variable rate
Verde held your rate steady for over two years until significant
increases in energy supply costs resulted in your rate increasing in
late 2013. For reference, we send notices to all fixed rate customers
when they are nearing the end of their fixed rate term but do not send
notices to variable rate customers
I noted that you cashed the check for $that we sent you. As a
further good will gesture we can send you another check for $to
lower the rate on your June bill but cannot make any other adjustments
since you were always on a variable rate

MrRuiz enrolled with Verde Energy in January under a monthly variable rate offer which can incresae or decrease with market conditions. He started service in February at a rate of $0.0989/KWH. Thgis rate decreased to $0.0929/KWH in January 2011, and then to $0.0850/KWH In
January and stayed at this level until it increased in December because of increases in Verde's energy supply costs. He saved a significant amount of money during the first months of his service with verde and also received a $cash bonus rebate check in March 2010. His enrollment has been cancelled per his request and he will drop service with Verde at the end of his current billing cycle on 3/14/14. As a goodwill gesture we will also issue him a refund check for $for his February bill which represents the difference between his actual rate and the rate he would have paid if he moved to our month fixed rate of $0.0869/KWH...this is the rate on our web site and he could have received it if he asked

responded directly to customer:Dear *** *** This email is in response to your rejection letter to the Revdex.comVerde Energy has so far, billed your gas account $94.40, and your electric account $+ $which totals $for two months of electricity and one month of gas. We have issued you $refund, $rebate, $refund and $rebate which totals $Which means that for two months of electricity and one month of gas you will have paid only $with Verde EnergyAccording to your email, you stated that your combined gas/electric bill for only one month was $with *** The four checks are in the mail as I am writing thisWhen you get them, you certainly have the right to do with them what you want, but Verde Energy feels we have provided an equitable solution to this matter and considers this case resolved. Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The agent that spoke with me had told me my cost will be lower which to my understanding was a single charge of my electric and gas when the third party is addedThis was something I had done with conEdison when I lived in New YorkI was not told I was going to be charged separately by both *** and verde energyI do not care what rate I had agreed toThere's no way in Hell I would have agreed to be charged twice or three times for the same service I'm getting in a month when I'm not crazy? I got a combined charge of for my gas and electric for this month from *** while verde charged me for the same service? Who on earth will agree to such nonsense? I did not receive any rebate from verdeI was offered the rebate to send in to claim after the first bill from *** verde, which is this same bill I'm complaining about here.I do not care about the stupid checks offered hereI am going to rip them in pieces if I receive them in the mailI will want the person that sent this response to tell me if he will pay more for the very same service he's been getting at a lower rate without any changes to that service? I am not paying the current bill from verde or any subsequent ones from them before this fraudulent company is taken off my *** accountThe nerve of the responder to lie that I was paid rebates!!!! Crazy!!!
Sincerely,
*** ***
