My experience with VBA was easy and painless, they did everything for me. I would recommend them to my friends, and I already have. They're a little expensive, but worth it in the long run.

VBA refused to help me. Maybe because I questioned a clause in their agreement that said they once I released my information to them it was no longer private. Or maybe for some other reason, there was no explanation, just a curt emailed "Unfortunately at this time, we are not able to assist you."
After the Case Manager and the COO assured me that they followed HIPAA (Health privacy law) and their agreement said so they follow HIPAA, I decided that I to go ahead and had VA send them my 'VA Disabilities list and Breakdown'. I had one more conversation with the Case Manager to go over the timeline and what I could expect. About an hour later I got the email from the COO saying they couldn't or wouldn't help me.
My guess, based on reading complaints on '***', is that management doesn't take well to questioning, but in truth, I don't know why they refused service. Since I have run into a form of ageism in this industry before, 'Vietnam era and Cold War Vets need not apply' maybe it is that.
Who knows, just left me with no idea why.

A friend of mind told me about Veteran Benefits Advantage, after I had tried over and over to get my service connected disability percentage increase. I went on their WEB site they set me up with an account. I received a call from a very nice lady name Jocelyne*** that said she was my case manager and she would help me thru the process if wish to continue. she sent me a list of what I had to do to get started, and explained how every thing would work. and it worked just as she said, Thanks Jocelyne and everyone at VBA. Excellent work I highly recommend this to all veterans.

I had heard these guys were extremely good at what they do and true to form they did my case and got my rating up to the 100%. Thomas Hoppes was my case manager, he was always cordial and if I had questions he was there to help. VBA helped me when I needed it most.

Nolan G was my case manager. He was helpful, specific, and on top of things. I struggled to get from 90 to 100%. I needed 60% to get to 100%. Not only did they get me that, they got me 130%, putting me well over what I needed. On top of that I got a total and permanent rating. I could have never done this even with a VSO. If you file an intent to file early enough you won't spend any money out of pocket. You would be foolish, if you're struggling, not to use them.

VBA is a very professional organization that has the best interest of the veteran at hand. They reviewed my current rating and saw the opportunity to see an increase of up to 50% from my current 10%. Needless to say, my rating increased to 60%! The process is fast and worth doing business with. They do not pressure you and are there the entire time.
