Vitier Cream Reviews (137)

Review: I responded to an advertisement that led me to believe that Vitier would send me, on a risk free trial, Vitier Skin Cream and I would only have to pay the shipping charges of approximately $5.The merchandise was shipped to me on 07/08/15 and I received it on 07/11/15. Vitier charged my credit card $89.97 on 07/21/15. I called [redacted] and told them I never authorized this charge. [redacted] sent me a letter enclosing documentation from Vitier disputing the claim. The documentation stated that they offer a 14 day risk free trial and the customer was billed on the 15th day. In addition, Vitier sent a picture of the order form which showed a box you check acknowledging terms and conditions. This form was not exhibited in the advertisement I ordered from nor was a subscription or any prices mentionedDesired Settlement: Refund of $89.97

Ms. [redacted],

We recently received your

complaint # [redacted] from the RevDex.com regarding your account with Vitier

Beauty. We take complaints very seriously and we hope this response will

provide you with additional information. We received your order on July 5,

2015.

The terms of the offer that

you agreed to at the time of your order clearly state that you were to have a

14 day trial period starting from the date of your order processing in which

you could cancel your account to avoid further charges. On your order

page you were provided with the following information:

By

placing your order today you'll be shipped via USPS a bottle of anti-aging skin

serum (just pay $4.97 Shipping and Handling). If you feel Vitier Beauty is not

for you, you can cancel within 14 days from today to avoid the purchase price

of up to $89.97 and enrollment in the auto-shipment program. 45 days after you

start your trial and every 30 days after, we will send you a fresh 30-day

supply of Vitier Beauty and charge you $89.97. You may cancel at any time by

calling Customer Service at 888-364-7963 .

These terms were presented to

you in multiple places on our website when you ordered our product. If there

was any confusion with the terms you could have called our customer service

team and they would have been happy to assist you.

Since

we did not hear from you during your trial period, you were charged $89.97 on July

19, 2015.

The

first time we heard from you regarding the cancelation of your account was on July

25, 2015 when you canceled your account over our automated voice system. Your

account

was immediately canceled and you have not received any shipments or charges

since then.

Since the time your account

was canceled, you have contacted your credit card company and initiated a chargeback.

Because of the chargeback, we cannot issue you a credit at this time because

you would then end up getting a credit twice for those purchases.

Sincerely,

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

I did not agree to have a 14 day trial period starting from 07/05/15. They claim that the advertisement clearly states that. It obviously didn't clearly state it to me because it didn't appear in the advertisement. A representative from the [redacted] told me that the bank had received numerous complaints about Vitier. I have assumed from this that their advertisements did not clearly state their policy either. Per Vitier's response, the trial period began on 07/05/15 and I received their product six days later on 07/11/15. My credit card was charged $89.97 on 07/21/15. I do not believe that anyone would agree to their terms of testing a cream in just 8 days. Furthermore, nothing appeared in the advertisement about a subscription fee of $89.97. Upon seeing the fee charged to my account, I called Vitier hoping to speak to a live person and a voice mail gave me one option - push 1 if I didn't want to receive any more shipments. I called [redacted] and informed then that I had not authorized the subscription fee of $89.97. [redacted] then called Vitier, while I was on the phone with them, and spent 5 unsuccessful minutes trying to speak to a live person. I have not been given a chargeback and I would like Vitier to send me a check for $89.97.

Sincerely,

Review: I was told they would send me a free sample of a skin cream and if I didn't like it I could cancel in 14 days. If I did like it $89.97 would be charged to my account and I would receive more of the product. I liked the product so when I saw the amount was charged to my account I waited for addition product. It didn't come. I called the company. They were very quick to say they would cancel the account. I told them I wanted the additional product. They said that I paid for what they sent me (which was minuscule ) and there was no such thing as a free sample. They would happily (for the third time cancel my account) I feel this is a scam. They never even acted like there could be additional product. They just wanted to cancel the account, which they did. She said it was explained in my email which I have searched for and cannot find. I also tried another email address VitierBeauty.com which they gave and it was invalid. There was not a packing sheet with the product, just a flyer for more product which promises a 30 day money back guarantee. I think this is a way to scam people of $89.97.They do not include any information with a company name I could find on the Revdex.com website. I am bothered that they have my credit card information.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back with the understanding they would not call my home or send more emails trying to sell their product.

Sincerely,

Review: I ordered this cream and eye serum to try for a 14 day trial. Today they are trying to charge my check account and will not refund me and allow me to return this saying that the 14 days was up yesterday. I have trouble understanding them and they will not allow me to talk to a manager or their boss. I have called twice and sent emails. Date on package is 6/23/2015 if we allow the standard three day mailing we are at 6/26/2014 that means today 7/6/2015 is the 10 day of that 14 day trial. Even if we count 14 day from the date on the package it's still 13 days today. (Oh it smells bad and does not work)Desired Settlement: Account refunded in full and instruction to return this to them with their paying postage for my inconvenience.

Consumer

Response:

Not sure how else to keep you in the loop. They have tried to refund me a percentage of the amount. I want to return this product and get a full refund.. Thank you

Review: In early May 2015 I purchased a trail offer of skin cream from Vitier for less than $36.00. For an additional $1 I received eye serum. I had 30 days to cancel. 14 days later two charges...$89.97 and $85.97 were made to my account. Today, [redacted] 16, two charges...$94.94 and $91.94 were made to my account. I have only received one of each product.

I called the company and they will not refund the money even if I return the product. I have looked online and found that others have had the same experience with this vendor.Desired Settlement: I want the additional charges beyond the original trial offer refunded. That amount is $361.82.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

In the response from Viter, they agree to refund me the charge of $94.94 made to my account on 6/16/15. There is no mention of a refund of the charge of $91.94 made on my account on the same day. Since both products carry the Viter product name and are mailed in the same box from the same address, I expect the $91.94 to also be refunded. I have attached a picture of the two products and the box they arrived in.

Regards,

Review: Deceptive advertisement on Facebook offered free sample of skin cream if shipping was paid. Subsequently, we were charged $89.97 and 85.97 for the two small containers of cream. By the time we saw the charge on our bank statement, and immediately called, we were told it was too late to return the product because it had to be done within 14 days.

While attempting to further my complaint, the representative simply said goodbye, and hung up on me.

we never gave permission to charge our card those amounts. We paid only for shipping, for free samples.Desired Settlement: We want our money returned. And we would like the Revdex.com to force this business cease such deceptive scams so the other people are not similarly ripped off.

Review: I ordered from this company in March 2015. I called them on March 23, 2015 to educated them that I was having skin trouble with the product they sent me. A representative by the name of Valorie told me to send them the product back and I would get a full refund. After sending them the product back I didnt hear from the company. I went to my personal banker on May 19, 2015 because I noticed that funds were missing from my account. Come to find out this company not only charged me for March, April and May but I never recieved the refund from March after the product was sent back.. They charged me for products I had not received and when I called them on the day I went to my personal banker and the representative Flo V. told me she would cancel the account. My personal banker instructions were to cancel the card because she did not feel like the representative was being honest. I am upset because not only did they take $549.70 out of my account, but they refuse to give me my money back for the products I NEVER received even for the products that I returned! THATS CALLED STEALING AND IS VERY UNACCEPTABLE! I need someone/anyone to contact me regarding this please!Desired Settlement: A refund of $549.70. Thats excluding the trial I paid for

Business

Response:

Review: Vitier Skin Cream claims you have a 14-Day Free Trial period and all you have to pay is S&H. Before the 14 days were up I called to cancel both the skin cream and eye cream they sent. For some odd reason they charged me $35 and I guess then I didn't have to return product. After getting off the phone I wondered if they canceled both products. When I called back all I got was a recording saying my account was canceled and I would receive no future charges. Two weeks later my account was charged $89.97 ish and when I called the company, they told me I hadn't called and canceled. Okay, long story shorter; first they could give me back 30%, then 35%, then 50% (What is this, and auction?)I demanded to speak to the manager, as I wanted a full refund, because regardless they tout a 30-Day money back guarantee. I was put on hold as she "spoke with her manager" and low and behold they would reverse the full amount AFTER they received the product back. I told them they would get their product back, but I wanted the charges reversed now. That didn't happen so I ended up calling my bank. I am sad there are companies out there like this. I have done the trial thing before with a number of other products, and when I have not liked the product, I have never EVER had this type of problem. They are not an honest company.Desired Settlement: I am requesting refund. I am put in a claim with my financial institution to reverse the charges. They are getting their product back and I am putting a block so they cannot charge me further. I would like others to know this is how they work.

Business

Response:

Review: The product was listed as a free trial. However, I was immediately billed $85.97 for the eye serum and $$89.97 for the skin cream on July 24, which appeared to be the shipping date. I believed from the website that I should have only been billed for shipping. The products were both miniscule and frankly they did not produce the results they touted. When I called to cancel on August 11, I was told to return the product to P.O. Box 25380 in Santa Ana, CA, which I promptly mailed. No mention was made of the original product charge which appeared on my credit card bill when I received it later in August.I waited for the charges to be removed, then finally called on 9/11 to request the refund. I was then told they would not refund any of my money and I also no longer have the product! The representative said I only had 13 days to use the product and return it. She flatly refused to refund my money, or even a portion of it. There was NOWHERE in their ad or paperwork that said anything to indicate that was the case. In addition to the fact that it most clearly was not a "free" or "Risk free" trial, instant billing was not expected. No price for this product was ever listed. The tiny package also arrived with absolutely no information as to pricing or where to return it.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for both products on the credit card to which it was billed, minus shipping. It was advertised as free and the return policy, which for most companies is 30 days, is not being honored.I have since seen a few websites where other women have posted similar horror stories with this firm and the "free trial". This is most clearly deceptive advertising (and an insanely expensive product!).

Response:

Dear Sir or Madam;I just wanted to write and say thanks for all of your help with my complaint about Vitier Skin Products. Wow, I am so grateful to you and so impressed with the speedy results of filing a claim with your office.I filed the complaint with your department on a Sunday and the company had emailed me within 2 days to tell me that they (VERY unhappily I should add) would be crediting my account for the purchase price of the items, which had been returned to them in the prior month. The credits have just appeared on my credit card statement. I am so deeply appreciative that you saved me from a really expensive scam operation.Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: I tried the product as free at the first time. The company claimed that they do not charge if I cancel within 14 days. I cancelled the product within 14 days. But they kept sending me a product regardless of my cancellation, and charged me $91.94 each time. I found the unexpected unauthorized transaction in June 11, 2015. I was charged in May 12, 2015 and June 12, 2015. I called the company immediately requested the refund for both May and June charge. I sent the product of June back to the company. I received the refund $85.97 for June charge. I spoke to a supervisor, Steve, about the charge of $91.94 for May. He said the company will refund for the full charge of $91.94 for May charge, and I don't need to return the product. But I have never received the refund of $91.94 for May charge. I called the company several times requesting the refund. But the company said they refunded but I've never received. I investigated to my bank about the refund, but the bank has never received the refund. They requested to fax them my bank account statement, if they see there is no refund on the statement, they said they will refund it. I sent my bank account statement on 7/8/15. Still they do not refund me. I talked to them again 7/14 but they avoid to refund me my money that they deducted from my bank without my consent. They requested me to send a written statement that my bank has not received the refund. I will get the written statement from my bank and send a fax to them showing that I have never received the refund.

I need my money back. It is like they stole my money from my bank account, and rejecting to return. I need my money back.Desired Settlement: I need my money back. They withdrawn my money from my bank account. They need to return my money. I have not received the refund for May charge, $91.94.

Review: They continual send product (no where is it indicated that this is what you are purchasing).Upon cancellation, you end up only canceling only half of the order. You are required to do the second cancelation. When canceling you are only talking to a machine, saying easy to cancel anytime, just press button now. (That was on line. The second one had to be done by phone, pressing "1" now.)At $94.94 for the anti-aging cream and $91.94 for the eye serum, this is an awfully big expense for creams that do not even work.Desired Settlement: Refund for the unwanted products delivered.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

[redacted] I would like to note that their response is inaccurate! I attempted to contact the business on several occasions to cancel my order HOWEVER, was not able to do so until after the trial period was complete, probably why the automated phone response has you enter your telephone number so they are able to look up if it is past the trial period. Once I did receive a response via e-mail that my order would be cancelled, I continued to receive shipments after that! I contacted them again and stated it was not a difficult process and that they sent me an email indicating my order was cancelled but they were still in fact charging my credit card. I indicated I would seek the advice of an attorney if they did not cancel my account. I have emails indicating they cancelled my account but in fact I was still was being charged. If you need these e-mails proving their "scam" or incompetence, I would certainly provide them to you. Thank you for your assistance.

Review: Ordered free trial of Vivid Eye Serum and Clarifying skin cream. Site required paying shipping cost.

The terms and conditions were very difficult to understand.

I haven't opened the cream and should have called immediately to ask why the bottles were full sized instead of "trial sized".

I then noted that $85.97 and $89.97 were automatically charged on my credit card.

I called and was told that I was automatically signed up for monthly payment plan and these were the monthly payments for a bottle of eye cream and face cream.

There is no way anyone would use this amount of cream in a month.

I was told that I could cancel my "subscription" but that I would not be refunded.

I offered to mail back the unopened cream and was told that was not an option.

I am very concerned about their business practices and their website is very misleading. I don't want this to happen to anyone else.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund as I feel their business practices are very misleading and corrupt.

If a refund is not possible, I want this not to happen to others in the future. They should have to me more upfront about their practices and that people will be automatically enrolled in a "monthly plan". I never would have agreed to this if I was better able to understand the terms and conditions. I feel that they prey on people who they hope won't check their credit card statement.

I tried to write online reviews but all the comment sections on websites are closed.

Review: This company advertises a trial period of 14 plus days, but what they don't way is it is from the time its shiped - very slowly! I had yet to even open my product before my account was charged for $180 for next month. Seriously did not even see that online - but regardless - the timing is very deceptive. When I called to complain and ask for refund they said rudly too bad! I wanted to return both this and eye cream, which were unopened.Desired Settlement: They say now after hours of harassing phone calls to them I will get back the refund for the next months shipment.

Have yet to see that.

I also want to $10 initial "trial" money paid refunded.

It's the principle.

Review: Two days ago, I ordered the trials from a sample shopping/opinion-about- products-website for Eye Serum and Advanced Anti-Aging Cream. It stated that if you dont cancel the order within 14 days, there will be an automatic shipment sent out and I will be charged a $98 fee. I called today to cancel the order and ensure that I will not be charged for an automatic shipment. Imagine my surprise when I was told by a company rep that to cancel the auto ship before the trial is over, there is a $38 fee. I asked what if I cancel the auto ship on day 15, when the trial is over, to which he responded,"You will no longer be in the trial period and you will be charged the $98 fee." After some haggling the rep lowered this cancel before the trial is over fee to $22.00. I am appalled. I've emailed them and notified them that I am filing this claim with you.Desired Settlement: A billing adjustment for the $22.00 bogus fee would be great, but mainly I just don't want them to get away with doing business this way and tricking other people.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

They have indeed refunded my money, thank you. But it is alarming to me that in their letter they state during two separate contacts that they provided me with the option to mail the product back. This is flately not true. At no time was this option offered to me. I am not satisfied with their response because it is a lie. My concern is that if they are continue to respond with untruths, no changes will be made with how they conduct their business.
