This company should not be allowed to offer services that are so unreliable. Their coustomer service is a joke!
Every time I have dealt with Windstream, it has been a negative experience. The most recent came after they changed the voicemail system on our business line. When I checked the voicemail using the regular access and passcode, I received a recorded message that told me to contact Windstream.
After searching the website for the appropriate number and finding THAT a challenge, I was transferred 3 times and put on hold 6 times for a total of 55 minutes. Once the representative got to me, I was told to call a new number to access our messages this week, but next week, it will be a new number.
Windstream has the WORST customer service decision makers ever.
I am a fairly new customer to Windstream Communications, and every month for four (4) months now they have overcharged me on my bill. The overcharge has ranged from $20.00 to $50.00 (every month). I have called each and every month; I have been assured it won't happen again each and every month; and when I call I end up being transferred to two to three different departments. It takes hours to try to resolve the problem, which they do (temporarily). Then, a new bill comes and it has overcharges...every month. Consumers deserve better, by way of cost, correct billing, service, and options for other carriers!
Windstream mails out Advertisements stating one price and when you get your bill it is double or more. They quote you over the phone and leave out all the hidden fees and extra charges I would not recommend this company anyone for this reason. My bill was so outrageous it literally made me sick, I am canceling my service.
