Today was my first experience with Woodfin. My heat pump was overdue for service and, after researching different companies, I selected Woodfin. Dylan was the technician who came. Between the time I called for service and the appointment date, my heat pump started having problems and was not working properly. Dylan did a good job troubleshooting the problem and explaining to me what needed to be done to correct it. The charge for the service was reasonable. Overall, my experience with Woodfin was positive and I will use them again.

Jeff is a very professional and courteous technician. Arrived on a cold day and within ten minutes diagnosed the "no heat" problem. Jeff replaced the faulty part and had the furnace running again producing heat.

Robert (Repair Tech- #33), was the consummate professional from his pre-arrival phone call until the moment he departed our residence. A prior WF tech had replaced the heat pump evaporator but overcharged the system with freon causing "banging / humming" noises. Without me asking, NO service or related charges were incurred. Mistakes happen, all things considered I would recommend Woodfin and use their company in the future.

I have been a Woodfin customer for a number of years, mainly home heating oil and maintenance. I recently purchased a new furnace from Woodfin. Everyone I have delt with has been friendly and professional without being stodgy. I highly recommend Woodfin for all of your home hvac, plumbing, and electrical repairs/work.

Mike E, my service tech, called to tell me he was on the way. Mike arrived as expected. He answered my questions and performed the service as expected. He was very friendly and professional.

Yesterday 1/4/16 was the coldest day thus far this heating season. When I woke up it was cold in the house so I called Woodfin, my fuel oil provider. The lady that answered the phone was very polite, explained that she could not give me an exact time but that a tech would be out today. Mike the service called me a bit later and said that he would be there in about 10 minutes...and he was. He came in, introduced himself and began to check out the boiler. He went about his work quickly but took the time to make sure that he had found the problem. He cleaned up after himself, thanked me for choosing Woodfin and thanked me for my business. James was courteous ands friendly from start to finish, he not only showed up on time but he came early (after calling to see if that was okay), he made sure that the A/C unit was functioning and explained everything that had been done.

Once I got over the price of the new thermostat, I think Chris K #48 (and his sidekick) did a great job in installing our new thermostat. They were very professional and gave us great directions on how to use our new thermostat. Job well done guys!

We have been Woodfin customers for 37 years at two locations. This review concerns our yearly HVAC check-up. Technician Daniel arrive on time and was respectful and courteous. Our unit was 15 years old and the fan motor was bad. The question was to risk replacing the fan motor on an old unit and then find other issues once running again, or to get replacement HVAC. We decided to risk new motor. Daniel installed new motor and then ran unit. Freon was low. Daniel talked to manager who approved testing Freon with nitrogen charge. Once unit was charged, you could hear the leaks at the evaporator coil. replacement of coil would cost $2,100. We opted to not repair old unit and buy new HVAC. Daniel talked with his manager and they took out new fan motor and put old motor back in. They did not charge us for testing Freon leak or for the motor. Service call was no charge, even though we had agreed that we would pay for fan motor once it was installed. Woodfin decided that customer service was more important than policy. They saved us over $700 by not charging us for fan motor, safety switch, or Freon test. Daniel was very polite even though he now also had to take out the new fan and safety switch and put the old ones back.
We truly appreciate Daniel's attitude and professionalism, and Woodfin's great customer service.

Our technician was on time, thorough, and helpful. We are glad to have him service our generator.
