Enrolled with Wyo when they were Summit Law Firm. IN 18 months they have done nothing, have taken over 7800 dollars in fees and settled 3 percent of debt which is not even paid off because every 500 dollar payment we make is taken in fees by the company THis should be stopped. It is illegal, Bernie Madoff type activity

I agree with the person below, if I could give negative stars I would. I have been paying for over a year and a half $441 a month ago my credit is shot. They never call you and give any updates. Most of the money goes to their fees. The settled 2 debts but most of the money still goes to their fees. I feel like I was scammed and would never do anything like this again. Bankruptcy would have been the better and cheaper option. My credit has been totally destroyed by this company. I’m paying them to make my situation of needing help even worse.

Contracted Wylo to help resolve $19K worth of debt and they have destroyed my credit rating and their lack of follow through on the contract has resulted in 2 creditors suing me. Repeated attempts to get someone on the phone to discuss my contract has resulted in months of frustration and run around. They are still taking $400 a month from me and have not successfully resolved any of my debts opening me up for litigation. They do not return phone calls and do not do what they claim to do in the contract.

We haven’t been able to reach the client to discuss a satisfactory resolution as of yet

I needed to eliminate some credit card debt so I signed with this company in December of 2018. They started to take distributions of $474.56 from my checking account as per our agreement in January of 2019. So far, I am aware of only two accounts they have settled on, They recorded me approving the settlements over the phone. I have never received any documentary evidence confirming any of these supposed settlements. When I call them, the names of the people I originally spoke to are not known to anyone. They failed to appear in court with me as promised and phone calls are never returned. My only conclusion is that I was the victim of a scam. While trying to figure out what to do, I found out that there are similar stories regarding this company on the Revdex.com site.

WyoLaw Response • Mar 09, 2020

We have been unsuccessful in contacting the client to try and resolve the matter.

In September 2018, I became a client of Summit Law Firm (Wyo-Law), with the understanding that they would handle all of my debt, negotiate terms with my creditors and would be debt free in approximately 3 years. In hindsight, as the old saying goes if it sounds to good to be true it is. I called in monthly and was told that “my account was right on track, everything was going well”. Everything that I received from creditors I forwarded to Summit Law Firm via email. In the beginning I was told that if I ever had to be in court, that they would have a lawyer in my area contact me, and go to court with me. And actually a few weeks after I signed up with Summit there was a lawyer representing Summit Law Firm from my state contact me. I talked to him again on my 1 year anniversary with Summit. Shortly after, I was served with court papers on 2 of my debts that I immediately sent to Summit Law Firm. I started calling Summit Law Firm about twice a week trying to find out what was going on only to be told that the account was in negotiations. I contacted Summit Law Firm and was told that I would have to go to court alone, that I would have to file a General Response letter to file with the court. I went to court, got an extension on the court dates (as I was told to do by Summit Law Firm), when talking with the creditors attorney, they informed me that they had never been contacted by Summit Law Firm. So after having almost 10,000 in 15 months deducted from my checking account by a 3rd party that Summit hires to take care of the money, Summit Law Firm got 6795.00 of that money. Needless to say I discontinued my association with them in December 2019. So do yourself a favor…..call your creditors yourself, DO NOT USE SUMMIT LAW FIRM (WYO-LAW FIRM). THEY ARE A RIP-OFF AND DO NOT DO WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO

I’m just gonna make it short and simple I been with this law firm since 2018 they was call summit law firm and after a month they was call Wyolaw firm mind you I was in this program for 3 years n just 2 weeks ago I received a letter from my employer bout that my check is being garnished from this creditor from Bank of America that’s when I decided to check my lawyer up on the website and omg I found out so many complaints like 65 or even more so it’s a scam I consolidated 6 of my credit card n they haven’t paid not even one n so far they took from me 3000 n I was paying 183 a month for what for nothing but I’m glad I notice it now it’s better late then ever so I’m taking them to court cuz I want my refund back of all I put in the program or at least half of that $

I enrolled with Summit Law Firm, now Wylo to help pay my debts off. In roughly a year and a half they have done very little to pay my outstanding debts. I have paid them $604.00 monthly and I was told it would take roughly 6-9 months to get settlements for less.than what was owed. I am now getting court notices which they have been contacted about and was told not to worry about it they would be able to settle with the client..well I am now have a judgment against me.

I could have paid all or most of my debts myself with what I have paid them. I finally got smart and withdrew a few weeks ago.
I do believe I should be refunded thousands of dollars from them. Which of course I will never see and still have.putstamding debts.

I have been paying this company for over a year to help get me out of debt. I understand that it is my fault that I am in a situation where I needed help to alleviate some of it but I went to them for help and I feel like little to nothing is being done as it said it would in the contract I signed. I have one account that I received paperwork from an attorney for and sent it in to Wyo immediately so they could help me with it. I made a call to let them know I received it and I was sending it in and everything. They said they would take care of it. 2 months go by and I receive a summons for this account. I call again to let them know and they said the other paper didn’t get filed properly and they would take care of the summons and that would be the end of that. Flash forward a month or so and I’m getting a garnishment notice saying that I have 15 days to do something or my wages will be garnished. I called yet again and they said the negotiator was working with the creditor. In the last week I have called 5 times to see what is being done to fix this and every time I’ve been told that the negotiator will be calling me this day or that day and I have yet to receive any helpful information or a call from Camilla, the negotiator. If this is not figured out I will be going through my contract and getting my own attorney and getting my money back plus what is owed for each creditor that I was promised would be taken care of when I initially signed the contract

Complaint Type: Customer Service IssuesProblem: I have made a complaint before but it clearly has not been resolved yet again. My former employer has received wage garnishment papers and let me know that they were received. I was in contact with Wyo and their attorneys regarding this since this was a huge error on their end which, if taken care of promptly and appropriately, this could all have been avoided. At this point I do believe this is a breach of contract since I was supposed to be kept up to date on any legal proceedings and Per my contract this never should have happened.Desired Resolution: Finish the JobDesired Outcome: I want this fixed and I want all of my other accounts taken care of per the contract that I signed.Complaint Background1. I am rejecting this response because: they have been working on resolving this since February and I am still getting notifications about wage garnishment. I don’t hear anything from anyone unless I am the one to call and even then I still don’t get answers. I have continuously been promised a call back and still have yet to receive one. Either there is just a lack of communication as to what has been resolved or this is not being resolved and I do believe this is a breach of contract at this point

from: Timothy B <***>to: Clay *** <***>date: Jun 29, 2020, 12:36 PMsubject: Re: Additional Response Required | Revdex.com Complaint IDClay, Thank you for bring this to my attention - Our reply is as follows:We will reach out to the client again to discuss their options currently to resolve the matter. Thanks, Tim --Timothy F. B, Esq.

I initially signed a contract with summit law firm. From the start they claimed I didn't tell them not to include a debt in the contract but I made copies of the documents that show the account wasnt To be added as witnessed by the notary. What they did was reprint that sheet in the contract without the annotation and signature. So I was charged extra for a debt that didn't exist and they refused to refund the money even though they never contacted the creditor. I officially had it removed 6 months into the program.
Next, I asked for an update on my account after several months to find out they still hadn't negotiated a settlement after stating one should be reached after 7 months. This was at 9 months and I still didn't have an offer. Also they didn't remove the account that didn't exist the first time I called and didn't have any record of me making the claim. They stated I mentioned it but it wasn't processed and refused to refund me that money in-between the 1st and 2nd request.

Lastly they reached a settlement with 1 of my accounts after me calling them several times on why there was nothing. I got the figure and requested to make a lump sum payment. I went on recording stating just that. The drafted my account for the large sum of money over 2k dollars and they didn't pay the creditor. The reason I wanted to pay the lump sum was to remove the service fee and admin fees or what ever else is associated. They stated in the contract that I can pay this off as quickly as I want. Instead they set it up to pay the creditor 50 dollars each month!! I found this out after 3 months and demanded answers, they argued with me stating I didn't do that and finally after I told the right person, they acknowledge someone screwed up. I removed all of my money from the account and I want money back for the screw ups. I understand the service and I understand its purpose but I have a spreadsheet and recorded conversations of each time I made a request and each time you didn't deliver, and how much money it cost me. It's unexceptable. Obviously we signed up for these programs because we are struggling and you are attempting to rob me, litterally. It's not legal but I want the money that you charged me extra, I also want the service fee money on accounts you didn't negotiate or even contact for that matter. I just contacted coti bank and after a year they have never heard from you, so I'm negotiating with them, something I paid you all to do. I want my money back for services you offered and never delivered. It's not a money issue. You had 3k dollars in the account at one point for 2 to 3 months and did absolutely nothing with it. That is unbelievable.

We have processed and are sending the refund. If the client does not receive, please contact our office.

We began working with Summit Law Firm (now WyoLaw Firm) back in November 2018 . We applied for a loan to consolidate our credit debt and we were contacted by the /financial firm that it would be in our best interest to do debt consolidation. The financial firm gave us the Summit Law Firm information. All our accounts were in good standing at that time. Looking to have help with paying off our credit card debt we signed with Summit Law Firm. Our complaint follows as everybody else. We began making monthly payments of $668.41 dollars in which almost 100 percent of that has been taken as fees. I have paid this company just about $8,241.14 dollars to this this point. This money would have paid off a third of our credit card debt. Instead we are way upside down and owing more and more money. Summit Law put the account(s) into only one of our names and then would not deal with the second(other) of us. We have repeatedly told them and written them to get it changed but nothing has changed. Summit Law Firm said they were sending a letter to each of our creditors and they did not. One creditor we had listed they entered wrong information for and we could not get them to change it and make it correct. We had to switch banking that Summit Law had the *** Client Solutions with draw the moneys from our account and they in turn withdrew dollars from there. (Out rageous fees) It took us 3 ½ months to get them to change our banking information and they even threatened us because they could not draw any money from our old account and it was their fault all along. Summit Law Firm advised us to not make payments to companies in our program in order to get it to a point to have their network of lawyers to renegotiate our debt. One of the companies in our program is a credit card company that has filed a lawsuit to collect. We have forwarded the paper work for them to review and so they could represent us. This was in July, November, December and now January and have a judgement against us that Summit Law Firm did not represent us with. We would have been better off negotiating with our creditors. Our credit scores are in the sewer. When we began the creditor calls, notes and letters we were told to ignore completely and have them contact Summit Law Firm. We have sent every billing document, letter, legal notifications, summons and now also the judgement papers from our creditors to Summit Law Firm/WyoLaw now and no one ever reaches out to us. We have called them almost on an average of every 2 week basis and got nothing but rude, unknowledged operators and they would not transfer us to a supervisor. We got them to say they would have a representative/manager call and we heard nothing. Wyo Law LLC./ Summit Law Firm/WyoLaw Firm failed to keep contractual agreement and are now in Breach Of Said Contract, they did not respond any of the Summons even though they had Power Attorney since November 2018 and they were notified of the court dates at least 4 weeks plus ahead of the dates. We feel we have been scammed, mislead, and robbed of our money. We want 100% of our money refunded and we can take it and do our own negoations. We want them to get us released from the judgement that they did not represent us with in any way which puts them in Breach of Contract.
This is all dealing with Summit Law Firm LLC now aka Wyo Law Firm LLC.

*** &

If I could give them negative stars I would. I’m out of almost $4k and no one has helped me like they said they would. None of my credit card companies got paid and now I have tons of fees tact on. This company states they’re here to help you with your debt consolidation when in reality all they do is take your money. It’s pure robbery!!! This is absurd!!

I tried to consolidate three credit cards to reduce my monthly payments and get out of debt. This company told me to not pay the credit card companies any longer because they would be handling all of my accounts from the time I signed a contract with them. I have since received court documents from one of the credit card companies saying that they had already processed the case through the court system. WyoLaw was contacted and documents were faxed prior to the court date on the day the notice was received. WyoLaw said that they would handle it. The next month I received a notice that the credit card company had won the litigation. When I called WyoLaw, they said that I should pay extra on top of the $426/month so I could "pay off that credit card company". I have had this contract with WyoLaw for a year without a single resolution and continue to receive letters from the credit card companies whom I have notified to send all future documents to WyoLaw. WyoLaw continues to do nothing. I am very disappointed and extremely angered that a company law firm would misrepresent people and commit fraud. They promised a copy of the contract I signed and I never received one. This has been a living nightmare. I want to see a resolution and return of all money. Not only have they swindled me and stolen thousands of dollars from me, they have ruined my credit score and reputation.

We have resolved this matter to the clients satisfaction

This company is a SCAM! I have signed an agreement with WyoLaw, LLC back October 2018. We have agreed to consolidate my debt and set up the monthly payments, which I paid religiously for 12 months. My monthly payments were $2360.16. My agreement indicated that they will pay off my debt and I was instructed to stop all payments to my creditors. A year and $28k later, my credit history is destroyed and my debt is not paid off. I have the sitting in my account with them that is not getting used to pay off my debt. They only closed 3 accounts for a total sum of about $6500. I used their services with the purpose of paying off my debt sooner and getting a fresh start in life. Instead, I am left in financial distress and my credit history is ruined. I call them several times a week, and my calls are answered by different operators (never the same person). They always give me the same answer - someone will call you (a negotiator, a lawyer, your case manager, etc.). I never get a call back. They also tried to refer me to the debt consolidation agency!! Did I not sign the agreement with them to consolidate my debt?? I am now talking to the lawyer to get my money back as the contractual obligations were not fulfilled. They are in the business of ruining lives, not providing solutions.

The payment was processed on the 11th

I am currently with a debt resolution company who changed their name to Wyo Law Firm, as they were originally named Summit law firm. I have been paying $411.14 per month for a year to this company, and have been contacted on 01/13/2020 by an attorney assigned to my case named Melissa M, who said that I would need to pay $100 more for 6 months and another $180 more until June 2022, in order to have just one of my accounts that is now in litigation paid off, even though my paperwork with them says that I would only need to pay $411.14 per month for all 5 of my accounts to be resolved or paid in 4 yrs. I now have looked online and have found out that this company is a scam, and have not been paying any accounts with many other clients who have accounts with them, even though these clients like myself have been paying this company for a year or more. I now would like to know how I may proceed in sueing them, because I have paid over $4,900 to them, and they have not even made a dent in or paid my accounts like they said they would. The one account that they have been paying on since August 2019 they have only been paying $50.00 a month on, and yet with the funds that I put into my *** savings account with them, is enough to have this particular creditor paid off within a few months. Yet they are saying that this 1 creditor will still take almost 2 years to pay off, even though by then I will pay over $10,000 in my *** savings account to just have this one account paid off. I also was told by the attorney that one of my creditors will start garnishing my account for more money, if I don't come up with an extra $100-180 right away because they will not pay two of my creditors at one time, even though one of my creditors should be paid off by now, and I am broke from them stealing money in my *** account and not paying off my creditors like they said they would. I also looked up their company online, and found out that this company is no where to be found and does not exist at the address they have put down, and I now know that it is a scam.

We have reached a resolution that the client has indicated is satisfactory to them

My daughter and I were convinced to use Summit Law Firm (now Wyolaw ) to help us consolidate our debt. Papers were signed. Promises of resolution within 6-8 months were made. This was Sept 2018. Going into 2020: My daughter has a letter from her employer that her wages are being garnished (the attorney they assigned to us said in email "We can get it settled before they garnish so don’t worry". Last week was the first week they garnished her paycheck for roughly $175. She received a letter from another law firm handling another account that they're putting a lien on her house. Yet another account they couldn't even get a settlement we just have to pay what we originally owed BUT now our credit is in the completely ruined . We've been in constant contact with them but only get comments like "we have to wait until it goes to litigation and an attorney is assigned" Finally got a hold of a supervisor who said it's our responsibility to contact them weekly. For the last week I have been emailing/calling the attorney assigned to us. He and his paralegal are ignoring all contact. Was told to speak to supervisor Gerard at Wyolaw (formerly Summit Law). Can't. Call daily at this point and he's always busy. We started paying $444 a month and quickly changed to $520 a month. Total: $7,719.92 Fees they've charged: ($3,084.38) Various other fees: ($192.70) Actual paid to settle: ($2,040.50) I'm retired and thought this service would give me more breathing room. I wish I never hired them.

We are working on resolving this matter to the clients satisfaction. However, we have not yet resolved the matter.

Wyo Law LLC./ Summit Law Firm failed to keep contractual agreement and are now in Breach Of Said Contract, they did not respond to a Summons even though they had Power Attorney since October 2018. This of course led to me having to be summoned to court for a decision on a Judgment Default , which should not have occurred since they were notified in September 2019 and then again daily, monthly , weekly with me e-mailing and calling only to speak with Customer Service who were basically giving me the run around. I have spent out over $4,340 and only 2 creditors have been negotiated. I am now calling/emailing them daily and still nothing with a court date on January 22, 2020. I even called to try to talk with the Collection Attorney who even informed me their office would try and contact Wyo Law on my behalf. The Customer Service is poor and then they get rude with you for even asking to speak to a Supervisor, even though they can not answer your questions. The Litigation Department has yet to reach out to me and now we are weeks out from Court.
