Like most of the people had file a complaint with Summit Law (now Wyolaw). I open an account with this company back in September 2018, I started with the company Summit law group to consolidate my debts for me. They stated that I would have to pay 498.00 per month and they would negotiate with my creditors help me pay off the creditors for less money than what was owed on the accounts. I had been paying since then and I don't know if anything happen to help my credits. As of now one creditor has filed a lawsuit co collect. All the documents has been forwarded in advanced to Wyolaw firm to review. I have to call in every week to find out what is going on and they told me they don't have anyone to represent the case. Thus company is a SCAM and very sad they took money from people that need help.

It has been 1 1/2 years with Summit law firm, They are willing to refund me back with $3267.39. I've been paying $498 per months.

I was hoping to get a refund little bit more to pay off the creditors.

Thanks

Business is withholding funds owed to me following my cancelation of their services. Business management refuses to discuss the matter with me.

We have a resolution in place that the client has indicated is satisfactory

My family were convinced to use Summit Law Firm to help us consolidate our debt.Papers were signed, Promises of resolution within 6-8 months were made. This was Nov 2018. Going into 2020: I have a letter from my employer that they will start wage garnishment. I have a letter that there is a lien on my house. I just called Summit/Wyolaw about another account. Sorry we couldn't get a settlement but we'll start making monthly payments over the course of 4 years out of your account. I called and said I'm not sure what I'm paying you for. Was told by a supervisor I should be calling them ever other week to get updates. I'm working extra jobs to pay off this and other debt not included in this. I could have done a better job and not been humiliated at work and a lien on my house. Horrible results. Customer service is very professional and helpful as they can be.

The complaint is in no way resolved. The response from Wyolaw was that they are in contact with me. I have been calling them every day so, yes we are in contact. It also states that it is not resolved. That is also a correct statement. Thank you.

In January 2019, I signed up with Wyolaw (at the time they were called Summit Law Firm, LLC) to help get out of my growing credit card debt. I enrolled 4 credit cards with them for a totally of $15,719. The deal was I would enroll my debt with them and they were reach out to the creditors to negotiate then settle a lower total. While this was happening I would be paying Wyolaw at total of $310.46 a month into this account. The money in this account would be used to pay off the creditors once a settlement had been reached. I was told I could expect a settlement within 7-9 months. Also, it would be very unlikely that a creditor would take legal action against me. I was advised to stop making payments on the 4 credit cards because creditors will not negotiate if you are still paying them. I was also promised monthly calls with my account representative and a local lawyer with an update on the progress of the negotiations, etc. In June 2019, I had not received a single call from Wyolaw/summit about my accounts. In June 2019, I was going to call them for an update on my account so I googled their name. That is when I found their Revdex.com accreditation had been revoked and their Revdex.com rating was F. When I read the complaints about this company, they were the same exact situation that I was in. They enroll people, take the money, and then screw you over.
In July 2019, I received a summons because one of the creditors was suing me for stopping my payments. When I reached out after receiving the summons I was told they had sent letters of representation to the creditors but nothing else had happened. I even called one of the creditors and they didn't have any documentation that they had been contacted by Wyolaw/Summit. When I asked for copies of those letters of representation, they never sent them to me. Every time I called, I got a different representative and never got the same answer. I also have never heard from the account manager/representative that enrolled me in the account, like they promised. While they did supply me with an attorney for the summons from Wells Fargo, they have done nothing but tank my credit score and cause issues. I worked with their attorney to settle with *** by paying them $2500 in a one time direct payment. The 3 other accounts I enrolled with them ended up being charged off since the payments were more than 180 days late. I have now received a second summons from one of those creditors, ***, for breach of contract. Over the 11 months that I was enrolled with them, they didn't do a single thing that was promised. They didn't negotiate any of my debt and they've actually made my situation worse than it was. I wish I would've never heard of them. They need to be investigated for fraudulent practices. They took $3037.33 in "fees" from me and now I'm in legal trouble because of their "program."
I have also filed a fraud complaint about this business with my attorney general.

Back in October 2018, I started with the company Summit law group to consolidate my debts for me. They stated that I would have to pay 656.00 per month and they would negotiate with my creditors (which were 6 creditors) help me pay off the creditors for less money than what was owed on the accounts. I had been paying them for over a year and the amount of money that they have taken from me 7,872.00. They were putting the money in an escrow account called ***. One on the companies in my program is a credit card company that has filed a lawsuit to collect. I have forwarded the paper work for them to review. This was in September. They had told me that I would have someone represent me if this ever happened. I turned in all the paperwork to them even the court documents of where I had to go to court, and they told me that they didn’t have any lawyers available to litigate it for me (Breach of Contract) They only attempted to settle one account for me and was only paying them 50.00 a month. They had taken a lot of money from me and this is all that they could pay this creditor. Really? They also have never called to give me any updates on the account. I finally decided to cancel with them and then turn around and call me and asked me why I canceled. I told them that one of the creditors was taking me to court and he said so they were just going to get a settlement from me. Is this how it is supposed to be handled. The reason I done this was so that I wouldn’t have my wages garnished. I trusted them to do what they said they were going to do and in turn I have lost a lot of money to them. I am only getting 2000 back because the was what was in my escrow account. I am requesting that you give me the remaining 5780.00 because you have had a breach of contract and you guys never did what you said you were going to do.

Save yourself the stress...do not go with this company! The only time you hear from them is when they take your monthly payments. Have been with them way over 6 months, and they’ve made very little effort to help us out. Money wasted on our part.

Back in December 2018 this company known as Summit Law (now Wyolaw) had agreed to negotiate with my creditors and in turn I would pay them $395.57 per month to place in an escrow account with them and another company called *** Solutions. They both together would negotiate/pay and handle any legalities in which to do this. My initial agreement was for 3-3.5 years. By July 2019 I realized they were taking out legal fees for doing absolutely nothing. Unfortunately I was distracted for the past 6 months due to my boyfriend going for radiation treatments for his cancer. By July they, now known as Wyolaw, had taken out $2,000 from the close to $2,400 and an additional $30 per month going towards a settlement that was YEARS old and already going off my credit. Then around this time I was served with papers from one of my creditors who stand that they were never contacted by Wyolaw. When I called Wyolaw they had some customer service individual claiming they can not guarantee not being served but they would assist me with a FEE to deter this complaint I was served. There were only 2 creditors of mine involved at this time and they had not contacted them as of yet? I then continued to get the run around from this company. I then went into NYC to meet in person so I can pick up my agreement from them only to find out that the company who was their middle man (*** Solutions) was not located there but a UPS store was!! I then called about this with further concerns about the deceit and mystery and that they had until September 13, 2019 to provide me with a refund otherwise I will take action, they just kept regenerating emails that I owed them money through the escrow account, run by GCS, which I closed immediately. As of this date I have had to hire an attorney to claim bankruptcy and feel strongly not only should action be taken against this company and their affiliates but I should receive a full refund of their "legal fees". Thank you.

I contacted Summit Law Firm to handle my debt consolidation, they have since been renamed Wyo Law Firm. They charged me a ton of fees for the first 18 mos of my program. They promised 7-9 mos into the program that I would start settling my debts with the merchants. Well now it is 13 mos later and I have settled 2 accounts out of 10. They are still collecting bogus fees from me and my credit is getting lower and lower every week. I am not in collections with 3 accounts that they haven't settled yet. I asked to be removed from the program since this is not helping at all and in the end I won't be saving much money either. I was told I'd get an email in 24-48 hrs to let me know how much it would cost to settle all my accounts and be let out of the program, that hasn't happened.

I made the mistake of contracting with Wyolaw in January 2019 to negotiate debt resolution for me (the two accounts that Wyolaw took on were both in good standing at that time). Wyolaw's rules say that the client has to stop making payments to creditors for 7-9 months before they can negotiate on your behalf. In the meantime, they are collecting a lot of money for themselves upfront in fees. After paying these fees for 9 months, I received notice that Wells Fargo had filed a judgment against me. Wyolaw states in their contract that they will respresent clients in lawsuits, but I submitted the legal paperwork to Wyolaw as directed to do, and they took NO ACTION. The judgment was decided against me. Wyolaw has collected $5050.90 in "fees" from me since January 2019 and have provided no services. I have had to retain a local attorney to help me get out of the financial and legal mess that Wyolaw has caused due to their breech of contract.

This company is a scam company. They switch names, and never completed the services they promised under the contract and via phone interactions. When I attempted to look up their address the address was a downtown area with no building in site to resemble their offices. All the businesses were restaurants and clothing stores. Never once spoke to a lawyer that they claim to work with only customer service. Similar complaints can be found on google reviews and on Revdex.com SITE

We have a resolution in place to resolve this matter with there client

This is a law firm dealing debt restructuring. They advised me to not make payments to companies in my program in order to get it to a point to have their network of lawyers to renegotiate my debt. One on the companies in my program is a credit card company that has filed a lawsuit to collect. I have forwarded the paper work for them to review. This was in August. The court date was originally in October, and each time I call they keep saying it is in their network for an attorney to pick it up. The concerning thing is the court date moved to December, but no one from this firm contacted me to follow up on how to handle questionnaires given by the court and the credit card's lawfirm. I keep calling and keep getting the same responses that someone will contact me within 48 hours. They never call. I have been giving them $728 each month to be funded into this program to pay debt and part of that is to have fee for the services to represent me in these negotiations. I feel they have not performed up to par. I called them to give them an ultimatum of have some legal representation to speak with me or give me a full refund since they have not performed any services to my knowledge. I am still awaiting a call back. I feel I'll have to call them again, and feel that I won't get a proper resolution.

Was summit law now WYO law firm reached out to me in February. They offered to consolidate my debt into one payment. I was instructed by the agent to stop paying on my current debt and allow it to go to collections. I was advised I would be appointed an attorney for my file and starting March 2019 $332 would be drafted from my bank account on the 1st of each month. I was then told by now WYO law firm I would be contacted through the process and by 7 months I would start to see progress. It is now November and I have not received one call about my file. No update no anything. They collected over 2000 and at this point I would like a full refund. with how much was collected I couldve paid off a creditor, but instead nothing has been done. Now my credit is bad. It wasnt when I started the program. I had to stop payments with WYO law firm and I called to cancel. I did receive one call regarding my cancellation and refund request and missed it because I was at work. I called twice since and also requested a callback and nothing. I am requesting a full refund. Other people are having the same issue as well. Maybe the program is working for someone else but not me. I will do whatever it takes to get my refund. Nothing was done. Nothing over 8 months.

We have a resolution in place to resolve this matter with the client

This complaint says exactly what I want to say!

"Does not represent it's clients as agreed to in contract. Fails to follow up with clients leaving clients to phone daily to try to get information. Leaves clients hanging without representation in the face of a lawsuit. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!"

I would suggest filing for chapter 7 bankruptcy. Within a year your credit is fixed. We were desperate, and this company took us right away. Everything happened fast. After we signed I looked summit and then wyolaw up, and saw the Revdex.com reviews. I thought ok only people who are mad complain, and I had no reason to be worried. Until things got real, and they did absolutely nothing.

They do nothing, and your paying for years! I received letters from lawyers, I sent them right away, got conformation emails, and they did nothing! Next I received two civil summons, and it takes 3-5 business days for them to process. 10 -14 business days for it to go to the legal team, and I talked to no one. No one called me. No called to follow up with me. No one! AVOID

I started working with Summit in January of 2019. They have since done nothing but take all of our hard earned money. They failed to “upload” documents to their system in a timely manner which in turn has caused one of my creditors to sue me and start wage garnishment. This has been the worst experience ever with this company. I am now having to cut ties with Summit and file bankruptcy to save my job. PLEASE do not work with these crooks. They are a horrible establishment with bad intentions.

I entered into an agreement with Summit Law Firm, now operating as Wyolaw Firm, in December of 2018. The purpose was debt consolidation. I was advised to stop paying my creditors and allow Summit (now Wyolaw) to contact these creditors. I was paying each month the agreed upon amount beginning on January 8th and every 8th of the month then on. I was served with a Civil Summons for one of the creditors on August 12th and was expected to make a response by September 12th. Wyolaw ensured me they would make that response to the courts but NEVER did. I made my own response to the court on September 11th. Wyolaw voided this agreement by failing to provide the support promised. I cancelled the agreement and asked for my refund as outlined in the signed agreement. Wyolaw has not submitted the refund to me within the 7-10 days promised. It is now more than 2 weeks since the cancellation. This service is nothing more than a scam. I am embarrassed and forced to deal with the mess created by this scam.

I enrolled in wyolaw, summit law at the time, to handle my debt. They have a website showing the progress of my debt and it’s never moved from 0%. 3 months ago I agreed to a settlement agreement that was supposed to have me paid off in September 2020 and I’m still showing no progress on my account. I’ve emailed several times and never receive any response. Then I go on Revdex.com.org to find their accreditation revoked with a F rating. I feel taken so advantage of. I have been enrolled since 2018.

Good afternoon. I represent Wyolaw in the above-referenced matter. I am happy to report this matter has been resolved to the client's satisfaction. As such, I kindly request that you deem this matter as closed or resolved in your office. Thanks,Tim

I began working with Summit/WyoLaw firm back in December 2018 looking to have help with paying off my credit card debt. My complaint follows everybody else who has come before me. I began making monthly payments of $481 dollars in which almost 100 percent of that has been taken as fees. I have paid this company just about $5000 dollars at this point. This money would have paid off a third of my credit card debt. Instead I am way upside down and owing more and more money. I would have been better off negotiating with my creditors myself. My credit score has tanked, I have become EXTREMELY overwhelmed with creditor calls (in which they told me to ignore completely), and am now extremely depressed and wondering how I am going to overcome this.
I have sent every negotiation letter from my creditors to WyoLaw and no one ever reaches out to me. I finally had a great negotiation with a creditor and WyoLaw had me do a recording saying I would accept it but they needed an ADDITIONAL 500 dollars from me to pay them off. Well today, 10/1 I call them after I have paid the $500 dollars additional to the $481 a month just to find out the negotiation fell through. They were not able to make a deal with *** because they did not receive a negotiation letter from them. They never called me to tell me this deal didn't go through so I asked for my $500 to be refunded. They took a statement from me today and said I will be refunded in 5 to 7 business days. I would like to totally remove my self from this "program" before Discover takes me to court and take my $5000 dollars I have paid them so far to pay off a creditor and do it the RIGHT WAY.
I feel scammed, mislead, and robbed of my money.
