Patrick Riley Cooling, Heating, and Plumbing

I have used multiple air conditioning companies and none were as good as Patrick Riley Cooling, Heating, & Plumbing. The check up prior to the summer resulted in adding some Freon indicating but indicating that nothing was wrong, this was normal.

I now feel that I have a true and honest checkup. They found that there is a Freon leak, and suggested some very reasonable approaches to resolving this issue. Patrick Riley is the first company that used a thermal scan of my ducts in the attic, and at each register in each room. This pointed to several duct leaks. Over the last 18 years, I've never had a air conditioning company use a thermal camera.

The service technician was very friendly, knowledgeable, and wore booties over his shoe, so as not to track dirt in the house. I was impressed with the knowledge of the technician, and would strongly recommend Patrick Riley Cooling to anyone looking for a honest and professional company.

We had a problem with our air conditioner not cooling. We called Patrick Riley Cooling, and they sent Freddy out within an hour. This was later in the evening, and he was very prompt and knowledgeable. He checked the air, and diagnosed the the problem. He had the parts with him, and could fix the problem immediately. Within a couple hours, we were back to normal. Freddy gave us a bill with the equipment description, cost and terms. We even got a warranty on some of the parts. We are happy with the service we received.

I would highly recommend Patrick Riley for any type of plumbing or air conditioning service. Chris Palmer was great! He was already waiting for me outside my condo when I got home. Travis F[redacted] at Patrick Riley came to inspect our Heating & Cooling units last week. He diagnosed our problem and took considerable time to answer our questions and walk us through solutions. I have never had a better experience with a company providing home services. I fully trust Travis and Patrick Riley, and recommended both to all of my neighbors.

The service technician was responding to a request for an advertised FREE A/C tune-up. He was very personable, respectful of me and my home, and apparently did a very good job of inspecting and cleaning the appropriate parts of the system. He recommended a new condenser fan motor due to a likely failing bearing, a surge protector, and a "compressor saver". All of the quoted prices seemed very high, and totaled nearly $2,000. Perhaps these are standard prices in the industry, but they seem inflated to me.

To be clear, dealing with the technician was VERY pleasant and the total charge for the service call was indeed ZERO.

Curtis was on time, professional, courteous and thorough.

Freddy, from Patrick Riley Cooling and Heating serviced my AC unit yesterday. He was very professional and diagnosed the problem and made the necessary repair in a timely manner. The lifetime parts warranty was a nice surprise and the extended service contract means "No worries for the next 7 years.

The tech that took on our problem, was very knowledgeable and keep me informed as to what he found as a problem, at which time we discussed a solution and repair. We called Patrick Riley after getting a suspicious quote from different AC service provider (stating we needed a new unit!). They gave us a second opinion with a detailed description of the actual problem, which turned out to be much more affordable to repair. Freddy was friendly, professional, and thorough.
