The customer was kept appraised of the special engineering for his project which was required by the building department. Unfortunately, all companies are at the mercy of companies which do engineering, as their schedule does not always meet our schedule. Per our contract, the
installation timing of any project is subject to the timing of external forces which are required. Quality First has and is meeting their requirements on this project. See attached notes

I signed a contract with Quality First Home Improvement to build a sunroom at my homeThe construction includes interior and exterior lightings, in other words, electricals
When Quality First apply for the building permit with the city, they did not indicate the job includes electricals in the paperworkI noticed that error in the copy of the permit they forwarded to me and notified Quality First immediatelyThis was before any work beganThey assured me that the error would be correctedIt turns out that they never didWhen the bulk of the job was completed, the city inspector came to inspect the job, his paperwork did not indicate any electricalsHe also requested a few changes to the electrical installation that was already doneThe workers decided to come back later to make those changes and have the inspector return when they are doneThey are also supposed to come back to reinstall the gutters they removed for the project, and bring a replacement of window screen that

This is my fourth time contacting ( OR trying to ) contact Quality First regarding a warranty issueI had to threaten to go to the California Contractor License Board, in writing, before they respondedThe time before this (third) the deadline was on a Friday, so on that Thursday evening a repfrom QFshowed up, with a flashlight, to look at the coating they misapplied, twice beforeI made approxphone calls to have no responses before the threat to the CCB

I have been told multiple times that Quality First would repair damages they caused to my home after installing the wrong roof and they haven't
Quality first employees have made multiple verbal promises by multiple employees that they have not kept
I have made multiple attempts to get this resolved and it still isn't
this was supposed to be a to day max job and it has been months and this is still not completed
The VP of operations *** *** told me he would fix the damages and hasn't
I have left msgs with no return call, *** said he would call me on numerous occasions and hasn't
there has been multiple people over without an appt or the correct phone number asking for final payment
that have no prior knowledge of the project agreements and they didn't even know the amount is to be determined due to the massive violations of the contract which they voided multiple times, mistakes, promises, damages etc

We were initially contacted in the winter of to consult for new windows No one showed for the first appointment We rescheduled and no one showed for the second appointment We then told the business to not contact us anymore We have received at least phone calls soliciting roof repair since that time Although we have stressed we do not want to hear from them anymore they have continued to call
We do not want any repair to our roof
We consider this harassment
The most recent solicitation occurred 6/8/at about 1:p.m I asked the caller (no name) to give me the name, phone number and address of the business She was extremely reluctant to do so She claimed she did not know this Eventually she gave me the information but refused to give me the contractor license number

The company , and I especially, express our most sincere apologies to this family for the actions of our representative. The representative has been terminated by the company for totally unacceptable actions. This household has also been placed on our Do Not Solicit list. The
department head for this division has also personally contacted this family with his apologies

The representative was good at explaining the warranty and benefitsThe workers were friendly and had a strong work ethic to get the job done quickly! They helped me get financed to get the job done! Thank you Nick and crew!

2/22/ ,,, I own a home in Newark, California (Bay Area), recently on Thursday 2/22/, I was approached by a representative from your company [ Quality First home ] , he told me about your company and services availableI then informed him that I was looking to sell my home sometime this year because of over crowding in this area, I stated that there were "way too many people living in this area" I also said how I was born and raised in the area and have lived here for over years and remembered all the open spaces we had back thenI told him I was looking to find another area out of state that was less populatedWe were talking about it and when I said "I want to find somewhere with less people" your rep then said to me, and I quote ,,, " You mean the wrong kind of people" (Note this was said in a very condescending tone and was completely unwarranted.) It was completely unprofessionalNot once was I disrespectful or racist to him, your rep was African American, I don't know if he was having a bad day or faced some kind of discrimination, but never from me, I was very upset with his remark and will never do business with your company If this is what I can expect from reps from your company I will passI will also be telling my family and friends about this and will not be recommending your company ,,, thank you for your time

At the time of sale of the solar system to the customer, it was the decision of the customer to accept an 80% system, as is shown by his signed system addendum This addendum did show what a 100% system was vsthe 80% system His installation concerns were principally during the
installation itself, and were all addressed It system readout shows that his system is actually generating more power than was anticipated His higher bills most likely come from the fact that electricity now costs more, the usage tiers have been modified by the power company, and most likely, the customer's usage habits may also have changed Our company will honor his requests and no longer call him This past week, he has been called several times per his request to no avail, his voice mail was reached each time

I have lost count as to how many phone calls these people have given me! Before my wife died we both decided not to use their servicesie roof repairThey hounded us several times for over a year and a half! My wife died last SeptemberThey have called me no less than times since! I've threatened them with law suits , Revdex.comAnd even put two bad reports on their website and ***! Several years ago Quality First approached me with a proposition to install solar on my homeWe discussed this for several weeks, probably over a month before I decided to hire themThere were two things that I insisted on that really were non negotiableFirst was the integrity of the roof of my houseI wanted no water leaks when they were doneThat was a nightmare!!! Once they installed the solar panels my roof was a shamblesIt took me weeks to get them to correct all the damage that they had inflicted on the roofI will say that they did not give up, but only because I was so insistent on it being done properlyMy second and really the one that has bothered me for years now is that the solar system that they installed doesn't even begin to cover the cost of my energy usageDuring the negotiation phase I kept telling them that I wanted a 100% system and they kept telling me to only buy an 80% system and that would be enoughThey kept telling me it would keep me in the tier

The door damage and installation was inspected. The door was found to have been installed properly. Upon the violent forced entry, it was found that the frame broke where it would have been expected to break, at the weakest point. On all wood frame doors, the weakest point is where the striker plate is mounted. A hole is drilled into the frame for setting the striker plate for the door latch, and the striker plate is mounted with two screwsIn this case, the frame cracked and broke at that point and the balance of the frame remained intact. Both the manufacturer's warranty and the Quality First installation warranty (years) preclude any coverage for "acts of God or man". This is purely an insurance issure for the customer

Quality First Home Improvement put a new roof on my house back in November 2017, and I've been having problems with them ever sinceI paid $1,down plus a $15,cashier's check on 12/14/They put up all new wood and tarpaper the first dayIt rained that day, and at night it leaked inside the houseThey came back a day or so latter and put up the shinglesWhen it rained again, it leaked inside the house againBoth times I called and talked to ***They came out to try and repair the roof, but it still leaksI called them every time it leaks and left messages on their voicemail, but they don't return my callsI called again about two weeks ago and they gave me a work order number, but they didn't show upThey seem like they don't care
