Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me provided the resolution is successfully completed in the time specified.

This complaint really made our VP of Operations unhappy because he personally went to the customer's house and met with him.  The installation permit was signed off by the county but SMUD won't sign off on the connection because the panel doesn't have a sticker on it (not our problem,...

missing when we got there).  The only solution was getting a licensed electrical engineer to do a load calculation and verify the panel.  Our VP did so and spoke to the customer last Friday.  The customer called again this Monday to complain that he thought he was getting the run around and our VP spoke to him again and told him that he wasn't and that our VP should have the letter by today (which is expected).  Nothing else can be done, this should resolve quickly.

Thank you for your help, [redacted].As you know, in February we thought this case had been resolved because a date was set for the completion of the job ordered on 1/14/14. Well, a VERY nice gentleman, [redacted], came to the house. He repaired the very ugly caulking job that had been done on the windows. He said he didn't have the stickers he needed to put on the inside of the 7 windows and 2 doors; he would order them and be back to put them on the windows and doors. He gave me a copy of the service request/invoice (attached) indicating installation of sill and apron stickers still needed to be done.  On April 8 [redacted] called to say he had the stickers and will be in Redding in May. [redacted] has been working out of Nevada and has told me on numerous occasions that he hasn't forgotten me and will be out to see me--that he has just been swamped in Nevada. In August I spoke to [redacted]. He told me he no longer handles Redding. He said that [redacted] would be in Redding on Sept. 16 and lead me to believe my job could be handled at that time. He gave me [redacted]' phone number###-###-####. I called and left a message for [redacted] stating I was hoping to have him complete my job and asked he return my phone call. I never heard from him or anyone else.My cell phone number is ###-###-####. If I am unable to answer my phone, I am diligent about checking for messages. Obviously this situation has continued on for WAY TOO LONG--20 MONTHS. I certainly appreciate whatever you are able to do for me. I understand that my next step would be to file a complaint with the Contractors Licensing Board. Hopefully I will not need to do that.Once again, thank you for your help.[redacted]

Customer states: I have reached out to the company to get this resolved four times but no one has contacted me back to get this resolved. I would like them to contact me and set a time so we can get this resolved.

Customer was called, was seen and purchased windows this past weekend.

I am rejecting this response because: I do not accept their answer because I had requested a 100% system to be installed on my house and they (being the experts not me) talked me into an 80% system. I would have purchased them at the time but I now have 3 payments a month for energy for my house. Would they like me to have 4? I really believe their salesman mislead me. If they really believe that the system installed on my house is adequate then why have they tried for the last 4 years to sell me more solar panels. I'm sure that I am not the only one with this complaint. So Yes the system in non-high demand months covers 80% of my electricity but in high demand months and overall for the year it does not. Not the solar system that I was promised. Would they like to look at my PG&E true up bill each year because that proves it is an inadequate system.

I am rejecting this response because: I did not receive an email nor did I receive a refund.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. We are very happy with all of [redacted]'s help ,and I don't think we...

would have done the purchase with out him. We are very excited to be getting our new windows and can't wait for the final results. Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

In that to do the project correctly, unforeseen items had to be addressed, requiring a change order and more money for these items.  Our CEO and our Reno Sales Manager both talked to the customer on a conference call and discussed this situation;.  The customer decided that the additional...

cost would preclude doing the work and agreed that in this case, he would cancel his purchase.  We would have honored the contract, but with the unforeseen making it impossible to complete the job, per our contract, there would be an additional charge, which would have to be covered with a change order.

During the process of attempting to get the customer's solar installed, the city of Redding required several revisions with the engineering.  Had the city addressed all the adjustments they wanted initially, the installation would have been accomplished much earlier.  Upon submitting a...

required engineering adjustment, the city would review and then require another engineering adjustment.  This occurred several times.  The final adjustments have been made and we estimate completion of the installation on Monday, January 12th.

Our (my) most sincere apologies go to this customer for the unwanted calls. The appropriate disciplinary steps have been taken with the offenders and this customer has been placed on the Do No Call list.

There wer problems as were outlined.  Quality First is refunding the customer in the amount of $530.70.

We are not surprise [redacted] (V.P) of not accept responsibility, that he and his manager [redacted] did not follow through with [redacted] (not metering agreement and customer authorization) [redacted] and [redacted] knows they did an incomplete job with us and our friend [redacted]) But [redacted] got refund for her electrical cost but not us.[redacted] you told me ([redacted]) [redacted] is not working as manager anymore. I wonder why!!! Maybe too many foul ups, incomplete jobs and do not follow up.[redacted] what about [redacted] told me no email to [redacted]) and also (Nov. 29th 2016) [redacted] email [redacted] B. (manager) stated incomplete paper work and no respond from her. Why, she did not call and inform us then 2016. Do you think is fair to put the balme on your customers. On 7/27/17 [redacted] you send us a package SNEM papers completed by [redacted] dated 9/1/15 and don't you think is way too late, we did not know all this information which should be given to us 2015. We were in the dark for 16 months!!![redacted] you wrote to [redacted] on 7/21/17. Stated: 12/01/15 - follow up call - spoke to Homeowner, they stated they "Can't locate the paperwork." Re sent documents by email and sent paper copies by U.S mail. [redacted] we never talk to anyone from your company and also no paper copies by U.S mail. What happened!!! because its make up stores to cover your backs.3/17/16 - follow up call - Spoke to homeowner who stated "The [redacted] documents were sent to [redacted]." [redacted] why do you have to stoop so low to be dishonest, because we did not talk to anyone from your company.[redacted] V.P (Q.F.H.I. Inc.) and staffs with all this well worded documents, emails, and conversations - must of this are cover ups and full of untruth, incomplete jobs. Maybe your boss [redacted] believed you but not me and others.I am positive in your heart, you know, you are being dishonest and I wonder how money customers have the same problems like ours and [redacted]!! Hope you can live with it. [redacted]

All the service work has been done for the customer.  We are providing the customer with a $299 gift card.  Customer stated that she will withdraw her complaint.

Quality First has been attempting to schedule this customer for installation since November.  Apparently, the customer was out of country and has not contacted us to let us know they were back.  The customer has the responsibility of obtaining [redacted] approval prior to our being able to...

install the patio cover.  To date, we have not been provided with any suck approval.  The patio cover in question has been in our warehouse since early winter, ready for installation.  Currently the customer is in breach of contract due to the fact that [redacted] approval has not been received and the customer has not contacted us.  Our contact number is [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: They started the service work on Monday, but they never finished. They left with a promise to come back to finish the job, but they have not come back. I called the...

business on Monday and left them a voice mail. Business returned my call on Tuesday.  When I asked when they expect to completed the work, the business office representative to me that he will check the schedule and call me with an appointment date. I am still waiting for the call from business. The water leaks have already started to cause damage to the drywall and and base board. Any delay in addressing the water leak issues could make the situation worse and cost thousands for repairs and potential mold remediation, if any.

This customer has their name on the DO NOT CALL list, which will be enforced.

Final permit inspection os scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 14.
