I had Quality First install all new dual pane windows in my homeI can’t express enough the difference these windows have made in the overall comfort of our homeThe house stays much warmer all winter and I can already tell the house isn’t heating up as quickly as summer approachesI have already seen a reduction in my utilities and my heater ran way less this winterThe price was more then some of the bids I got but the value of the quality and the warranties plus my experience with the sales people who did a great job showing me the window and explaining the benefits the upgrades would have convinced meI am glad they didThe installers installed windows in one day and other then the new windows and much quieter home by the time they left you could tell my house had been under construction that dayIf you buy windows from this company I highly recommend you pay a little extra to let them handle all the work with your blinds, I did a few myself and them decided to pay the installers to finish the rest, well worth the cost to let them do it professionally! All in all a very positive experience, great product, professional quality installation I have my permit signed off by the city and love my new windows!

The experience we had with Quality First Home Improvement was unfavorably memorable and as a result will mean I will no long look for the other services they off as we continue to upgrade our home Our estimated completion date was March Today is April and we are still looking another two weeks to finish the job they startedYesterday they came out to finally install the windows only to find they either measured wrong or placed the order for the windows incorrectly After their years of experience and with a name like Quality First you would think this company would have worked out all the minor kinks in business operations and attention to detail aspects or product order One bedroom window had to completely reorder due to the wrong size The quick casing for all windows and sliding glass patio door were the wrong size and will take another weeks to fix and installSpending over $15K for windows and doing business with the name of Quality First I was expecting much more professionalism and attention to detail Instead of writing a delightful satisfied review I am writing a review of dissatisfaction with no attempt from previous emails to make up for compensate for this lack of quality and professionalism

I am rejecting this response because: at the time of the incident of the roof leaking I have pictures and proof that the roof leaking I also have proof that there'sdamage in the hallway due to the leaks and then also I have proof of the customer which is myself being hurt because it leaks in the hallway until thehallways fixed and the medical expenses are compensated for I'm not going to accept it as being okay I lost days at work and also was laid up for a few days due to my injury due to the roof not being 100% sealed Proof and also it is not done because we do not know if there is any more leaks until it rains again and also I asked to get bids from them about cement due to the fact quality first is a good company they just hired a shotty roof person to do my roof but if quality first is saying they don't want another job opportunity that's fine too I could find other contractors that could do the cement like I told *** from quality first that why I contacted the Revdex.com is do the sheer fact that I wasn't getting no responses from the company I know quality first is a good company because they did my windows before but like I said When I paid for the roof the $14,roof there should have been no leaksNo Exceptions there was leaks I got hurt and now there's damage to my hallway because if so and I don't know if it's 100% done because we haven't had a major rain storm yet but once again if quality first feels like it's my fault because roof leak that I could easily take my business somewhere else that's no problem at all to me getting a 14k roof and to have them put it on and it was not installed and seald the right way is way way different then haveing them give me a estimate for a new job for cement like I said before I know quality first is a good company they just hired a shotty roof installer

Quality First installed triple pane windows in our house in February The windows are dirty in between the panes The window seals are particle board and when water touches them they lose the paint on the window seals The caulking they used is now darken It does not have a shiny surface and is feathering The last time I spoke to the office was 9/12/ Previously we have called them at least a dozen times with no results They sent two people out in September 2016, they took notes and took pictures and we have not heard back from them

My experience was very good
The techs were very knowledgeable, pleasant and quite professional

In March 2017, I signed a contract with Quality First for a new roof, including new gutters, insulation removal and installationThe process was long, complicated, and frustrating due to lack of clear communication and follow throughWe had to have the insulation company come out several times to properly remove and then install new insulationDespite the fact that I confirmed at signing that the old damaged insulation would be removed, this information was not passed onto the people actually doing the work
The roof was finally completed in July 2017, but in November it started leaking in the living room causing damage to the new insulation and the ceilingI contacted our project manager, ***, immediately requesting someone come out to check the roof and make any necessary repairs to it and the ceilingIt took several weeks to get someone out and when they did come out they said that the leak was due to the style of our roof that let in sideways rainThe worker then did

We had a remodel of our bathroom done in May and the work was excellent We really appreciated all the friendly people and the sales girl Bonnie was very pleasant and felt like I had know her for a long time We were very happy with the results and have had so many compliments from friends as well

Had roof put on house Bad Job took inspections yr repairs not completed damage to home inside and out promised to repair now is threating to sue and put a lein on property San Jose crew can not be found, sales person died a person, Scott Gaberee come out promised the world and did not come back lot of damage needs to be fixed

My experience with Quality First has been the absolute worst I am still waiting to get repairs done on a faulty roof that was installed in It leaks all around the perimeter and has caused dry rot problems After several calls, someone came out yesterday to look I'm still waiting for a date for repairs to begin High pressure all the way Talk, talk, talk...no work Slow to return calls I paid $16k for a roof that leaks I want it fixed! If you hate headaches, DON'T do business with these people

I have contacted Mr*** and set up the service for him, even though the service waranty has long ago expiredWe will be doing the service at no charge for him

I am rejecting this response because: It does not address the key issue of improper installation of the door jamb reinforcement plate performed at time of door installation, specifically installed to compensate for this type of door jamb failure, and additional evidence uncovered during repair assessments that does not support the company position that the door frame was properly installed
The door installation included provision and installation of a reinforcing steel plate that was to provide the additional strength to the door jamb at the weakest point
The reinforcing steel plate was inadequately, and improperly secured by the company, as pictures provided attest, negating the ability of the plate to significantly reinforce the door jamb, and directly resulting in a door kiattack to be successful when it should not have been
Additionally, during the company representative site visit to inspect the installation and damage, due to expanded foam insulation covering the installation on the jamb side, he would have been unable to see any detail of the installation of the actual door frame to the frame of the house, with exception of where the reinforcing plate, screws, that were clearly not substantially in the house frame, and surrounding insulation, had been thrown out due to the inadequate and improper installation of the jamb reinforcing plate by the company
Attached are additional pictures of the jamb side of the door frame and the total of two (2) screws discovered holding the jamb side of the door frame to the frame of the house, without any shimming or reinforcement, over a significant gap, as discovered after removal of the remaining expanded foam insulation; this is an exterior entry door
The additional evidence indicates improper and inadequate installation of the door frame as well due to the large, unshimmed and unsupported gap all the way down the door frame, the minimal number of screws holding the frame in place on the jamb side, and the resulting amount of actual screw thread, from the screws used, actually connecting the door frame to the house frame on the jamb side; ~1/inch of actual screw penetration into the frame of the house with over half the screw length totally unsupported between the door jamb and the house frame
Based on this additional discovery, the company claim the door frame was properly installed cannot be considered accurate by any reasonable or professional metric
Between the inadequate and improper installation of the doorjamb reinforcing plate, which the company keeps failing to address, and the newly discovered inadequate, improper, and unsupported installation of the door frame to the house frame on the jamb side, it would appear the expanding foam insulation has been what has been holding most of the door frame in place to the house frame
The company needs to step up and acknowledge they did not properly install the reinforcing plate, as well as, now, the door frame, and, at a minimum, provide compensation for the damage resulting to the door frame, and for its proper correction and restoration

The guys did a great job and installed my Solar very quicklyThe salesman offered really good information and helped me understand the solar process

***, from Quality First called me to schedule a time to come and look at my problem.We set an appointment for 2/12/between 12:and 1:with the understanding that if he was unable to locate materials to complete the work on the inside of the house we would have to reschedule. *** called me back to say that he might not have the materials by 2/12; so we rescheduled for 2/17/between 9:and 11:am. I will keep you posted.***

I had quality first come and put in a new fence and do concrete removal for meThe fence guys caused multiple leaks in pipes as they were workingThey told me after the fact that they fixed a couple of those leaksThey agreed to come back and fix the other leak after I had a leak analysis done and a plumber come out to tell me where the leak wasThe sub contractor agreed to have someone come back and fix the leakThen yesterday they refused to come back anymoreThis has been going on for a while, and all I want is for them to come back and do the fix that they agreed to do
