I am utterly disgusted with this company. I submitted a hardship withdrawal for my home purchase on October 3 and the processing is only supposed to take 3 days. I have never received any information from Vanguard regarding the status of my request unless I called them myself. Every time I've called, they've asked for something else other than what I was originally told they needed to process my request. Today is now October 10, and now they need something else, which starts the 3 day review period all over again!!!! This is MY money!!!!! I want my money without all the runaround!! I have never been so livid in my entire life.

I am rejecting this response because: Vaguard has made no attempt to contact me and a resolution to this issue has not even been dicussed. Vanguards response to the Revdex.com claiming that they have contacted me and resolved the issue is an outright lie. I am shocked that a company this large can act in this manner.

My contributions should have resumed in November. I feel I should receive at least the interest I would have earned if the contributions were resumed accurately.

I am rejecting this response because: I received a phone call from an Executive Team member who apologized to me for the two letters and two responses here from the company. The first letter stated my wife and I had only received two letters in error. This is laughably false. From 2010 to 2016 we have received about 15 letters for many different reasons, such as requesting updates to our beneficiary statements. In this day of rampant identity theft I bothers me that of the 12 mutual fund companies we had and the 3 brokerages, only Vanguard kept sending us many letters after we closed all our accounts and moved. They sent letters to the old address for years in spite of my changing my address with them both on the phone and in writing numerous times. All the other address changes worked 100% for us, even the garbage company, but not with Vanguard. In asking them repeatedly many times over the last six years to stop sending us mail as if our accounts were still open I've gotten nothing but excuses and in some cases unprofessional behavior, in spite of my remaining courteous the entire time. This response is the least courteous of all the other communications I've had with them. I'd fed up with them and their excuses. And here I was trusting these people with our money.

Vanguard has done nothing since the filing of the complain other than to state they already communicated with me. That is not acceptable.  If I was already satisfied I would not have filed a complaint.  Vanguard's policies for transferring assets following divorce are confusing if not impossible to follow.  Vanguard representatives repeatedly gave me and my ex wife incorrect information leading to great stress and angst and delay in an already stressful time. Vanguard acknowledged growing pains and is aware of customer service issues.  As such I would like to be compensated by having some or all of the fees I've paid to Vanguard refunded.

I am rejecting this response because: the monies requested was nor received due to they company stating a withdrawal was already made in august.  That should not matter as this MY retirement that I accumulated so as long as I have documentation , the monies should have been received.    Also they take the fill 3 business days EVERY time and wait until the very last day at the last minute to review and this is critical. I called multiple tomes on 9/15/17 and they did nit reciew it until 5pm and I never received a phone call that it was denied.  Now I'm pending additional attorney fees because the monies weren't released from my account.   The attorney fees wete also inckuded in the docukentstion and not give to me out of MY own money. I am not satisfied with their Decision to deny my request.   Their business practices of taken 3 whole days to review is ridiculous. And if additional documentation is need, they wait another 3 whole days to review.  That is unacceptable when someone is pending a court case.

Dear [redacted]:I am writing on behalf of Vanguard Marketing Corporation (“VMC”) in response to your August 28,2014, complaint to the Revdex.com concerning fees related to your brokerage accounts. In your correspondence, you indicated that you...

were charged S60.00 in fees after you were told that no fees would be charged if you chose to receive paperless statements. You stated that you had never turned off the paperless statements and that Vanguard, refused to refund you the fees incurred.We reviewed your accounts and determined that you were charged the annual account service fee of $20.00 for each of your brokerage accounts, three accounts in total, on June 10, 2014. Yon contacted us regarding the fees, and you were informed that in order for the fees to be refunded and avoided in the future, you would need to change your mailing preferences to e-delivery on each of your accounts, which you elected to do. The $20.00 service fee for each account was then reversed on July 7, 2014.Upon further review, we determined that each of your brokerage accounts was erroneously reimbursed $40.00 for the service fee instead of $20.00 per account, resulting in a $20,00 overpayment in each account. Vanguard realized the error in August and subsequently debited each brokerage account by $20.00 on August 5,2014, to offset the additional credit. As a result, all of your brokerage accounts now reflect zero charges incurred for the annual account service fee.Based on our research, we can conclude that you have been reimbursed for the annual account fees incurred in June 2014 for all your brokerage accounts. Additionally, VMC has reviewed your mailing preferences and you are properly set for e-deliveiy on all your brokerage accounts so you will not incur the account service fee in the future.I trust that this information is responsive to your inquiry.
