Carpets is scamming customers by overcharging them for product and services, but then secretly changing the measurement numbers and delivering fall less carpeting When questioned numerous times prior to the installation and after for a detailed breakdown of our charges (e.g., cost of carpet, pad, installation, etc.), we were told numerous times they would email us this information However, now that the carpeting is installed, we were informed Carpets will never provide a detailed breakdown of their charges Subsequently, we are unable to ensure that we received the KQRS $credit for mentioning their ad through the radio, but yet the initial work order states a 10% discount without detailing what that amount is from the original cost
However, as you see on the initial Work Order, which is the carbon copy, it stated we needed square feet of carpeting and moisture padding for a total amount of $2,904, which we questioned twice since the amount of carpeting seemed w

We were certainly sorry that we were unable to satisfy the customer's timelines for install. We refunded the customer as requested for the uninstalled productThe refund was issued (via check) in full for the money put down for the cancelled portion of the order. If there is any issues
with the carpet installation we will gladly address those and remedy. We will have our Quality Control Manager contact the customer as soon as possibleWe hope that the customer has received the refund check and anything else can be resolved in a timely manner

We have been in contact with this customer, and have tried to help out as much as possibleOur Quality Control Supervisor has been on site at the home, had numerous phone conversations with the customer, and has explained the situation at depth651Carpets sold the customer vinyl
flooring in March of 2015, and it was installed in April of 2015. The customer asked that we "loose lay" the vinyl flooring and not use glue to adhere the floor. We told the customer before any work was performed that this is not the proper way to install the floor and that we were not comfortable doing the floor in this fashion. Again, he insisted that we install the floor in this manner regardless of any manufacturer or installation warranty voids. We at 651Carpets offer a lifetime installation warranty, but not when the floor is installed different than our company standards (customer's request). The customer is now having some issues with his "loose laid" floor just as we had warned before the installation, and now would like us to come out and re-install the floor. Unfortunately, we are unable to honor this request without a charge for the labor to be performed

I am very angry and Disappointed with 651CARPETS Wrong Carpet installed befor last thanksgiving salesman had the wrong name on the paper work and when I called him to ask what carpet we agreed on he knew and when I told him what he had on the paper work he told me I had to call 651CARPETS and tell them what was going on I am wondering why I'm doing this salesman's Job so I called and the guy said let the installers install the rest of the wrong carpeting and they would come out at a later Date to switch it out when they left they hung the wrong doors and also left a big mess nails and carpet strands all over the place January 651carpets calls me says he would call me with a date to switch out my carpet it is now March and still waiting on that call #They have very poor Customer Service # when they put me on hold or transfer me to some one else it hangs up I will never do Business with this company ever again I've made payments for carpeting I don't even have installed yet this is not Right Signed a very Angry and unsatisfied Customer !!!

Let’s begin with the issues of my specific case: On March 3, I paid $14,via credit card to for carpet, hardwood floor, and granite countertops I was told to schedule with Max within one week of my order I scheduled installation of carpet, hardwood and granite all at the same time On March 16, the granite counter tops were installed, however not before any issues The installers came to my home without enough product therefore I incurred an extra seam in my granite countertops About two weeks later I notice chips and pitting in the granite This chips and pitting are not natural to the stone, this is only natural to a sub-par productI was also to have a 4-inch granite backsplash installed at the same time, which was not doneI contact Robert, sales representative, via text messages and phone calls to both his personal and work cell phone I received no answer As of August 24, 2018, we still have not yet received the backsplashI began calling cu

I wish I would have read some of these reviews before I had this company install my carpet & laminate flooring I had a scheduled date to get both installed, took a day off work, made sure everything we needed to disconnect and move was done, and found a place for my dog to go for the day so she wouldn't be in the way the carpet installers never showed up that day, I called twice asking when they would be there the 2nd call was to Justin, he told me he had no idea where his installers were, he couldn't get ahold of them and not getting a call back (they must take after their managers) I was told by him and the first guy I called that I would get a callback when I could expect them....never got a call back
the laminate crew showed up at 3:30pm..I thought at least I would get that part done..I WAS WRONG! the ripped up my old flooring & carpet and told me it wouldn't be installed until the next morning they left carpet nails, staples, splinters of wood etc all over the floor no way we could bring my dog home or walk with out shoes(thank god I don't have little kids to worry about) so I had to make arrangements for my dog to stay overnight and all the next day at 5:I called the rep who quoted me and told me how wonderful their company wastold him it is 5:and I have nothing installed, he said he was busy and would call me back........NEVER CALLED BACK...SHOCKER!
the next day ( a Saturday) the laminate guys showed up, after about hrs they informed me that they didn't have all the materials they needed, they had to drive to Zimmerman to pick up what they needed and would be back in about hrs (after telling me they should be done by 11am, and apparently both of them had to drive and get transition pcs???)
when they returned they worked for a few hours and then one guy left??? leaving one to finish the job by himself not sure how one guy planned on moving the furniture back in place.....luckily I had someone there that could help him...even though part of the payment was to include moving of furniture also delayed the job getting done, so it didn't get finished until 3:pm...another whole day of MY TIME wasted and plans had to be changed during all that the carpets crew (not the managers) called me to come over, they were an hr later than they told they would be that morning (hrs late from original appt)
I have called different people, the last one is Maxwell, I was told I would definitely get a call back about my concerns and lack of communication, told them I would like some sort of discount for my time and inconvenience of the whole situation (the fact I had to take off work and had my house all rearranged and nothing was completed per the signed contract) and guess whatSTILL NO CALLBACK
if I was the owner of this company I would be embarrassed and disgusted with the lack of customer service his employees give to his customersof course I did ask to speak to him on one call and was told that was impossible I would not recommend this company to anyone, not for the products but strictly for not showing up to do the job they signed on for, and total lack of customer service & support

There was no transition pieces installed with the wood flooringThey did not have them A piece of wood was layed as a transition at the bedroom unevenly so that one side is higher than the other with a big noticeable uneven gapWe complained and we're told by installer that they would fix it before leavingThey did not

I got an initial quote for granite with different prices based on the size we used for one section of countertopsI said I wanted to move forward with getting our counters and asked about a breakdown of cost from the quote (because all I was given were final numbers), financing etcI was able to schedule my install, but never got any more info on what I would be chargedI told them I needed the price and that I wanted to put part of the cost on my credit card and finance the rest

I received a call the day prior to my installation, confirming my appointment and letting me know that the installers would be at my house between 8-10AM on Saturday Nobody showed up during the window that they confirmed I called the office multiple times to see when they would be coming, nobody answered I finally got in touch with a sales person, who passed along my message to the installation manager I get a call from the installation manager telling me that his crew didn't show, and asks me if I can reschedule for a week day during the following week By then I had blown my whole Saturday waiting for them and trying to track down anyone that could tell me what was going on
I was also told by the sales associate and the installation manager that I would receive a call the next business day to talk about my poor experience, but haven't heard from them since

We had a whole house carpeted today The carpet was exactly as we had ordered The carpet layers where on time, and did a wonderful job They were very professional, and checked back to make sure things were done to our satisfaction Recommend them

The customer has been contacted and everything has been worked out. While we are always disappointed to have mistakes happen, they are nonetheless a part of any business. We are happy that the customer was serviced and helped through the process. Hopefully we have earned a repeat

I got the best service and quickest response from the amazing staff at 651-CarpetsI had a minor flood in my carpeted basement which required pulling up some of the carpet and removing some of the padWith call, in two days my carpet and pad are reinstalled and looking great! We ordered and had granite counter tops installed in our kitchen There were multiple issues with installationWhen contractor pulled old backsplash off he destroyed walls so he was unable to put new back splash on, we did not get promised size of counter top, there was a large seam in the middle of the counter top(Which we were told would not be noticeable) and two pieces on the same counter did not match upWe were told it would all be replacedJim the granite manager told us our sales person was not experienced leading to many miscommunications Now, we've been promised new counter tops and no one will call us back(We have made many calls to Chad, Jim, Amanda and left messages and texts and nothing in return)I asked to speak to owner and was told he does not take calls

On Aug29, the said company installed new countertop in my home While installing the counter top the installer ruined my existing back splash , which was not being replaced at present time Because of this I now have to install new back splash on one wall The installer also scratched my new stainless steel stove The negligence of their installers was entirely the reason for these mishaps, resulting in my having to invest in new back splash and ordering a new panel for my stove I contacted their customer service on the same day of the installation and advised them of the problemsI have had to leave messages on five different occasions to try and resolve this issue A manager finally came out two weeks ago and looked at the problems He agreed that these things should not have occurredAs to date they will not return by call to see how they are going to correct the problems Whenever I call now they always tell me the manager has just left on three different occasio

Carpets installed some carpet on a stairway for usDamage was done to new drywall by their installerI called Carpets immediately to bring the damage to their attentionAs this was was a newly remodeled house, the stairway drywall was in perfect condition and now had huge gouge right in the middle of the wall I have since left messages and forwarded a picture to a customer service rep and have gotten no response from themIt has now been weeks and still will not get a return phone call to repair the damage done to our home
