The company set up an appointment for installThey canceled the night before due to van issuesThe next available date I could do was about a month laterI receive a call again, the day before, and now they don't have any product left to installNot a great business to work withThe representative from the company continued to tell me how this is just how their business is operatedThis is now the second time and my house has been packed up since the first date since stuff has to be moved for the installI asked for a refund and they said they will not do thatI will never purchase from this company again

I had granite counter tops put inThe sale's guy was great, on time and friendlyThe next day install was perfect! Counters look great!! Here's where it goes bad, during the install the installer accidently put a dent and a scratch in my fridgeHe told me right away and apologizedAccidents happen, these installers did a great job otherwiseWhen I called 651Carpets to work out a resolution to the damage I had to leave a messageThat was on a Monday (12/18/17) and I did not get a return call so I followed up on Friday (12/22/2017)I had to leave another messageThen I get a call from the installer (12/22/2017)He said there is nothing that he can do to fix the damage and said that 651Carpets is going to take it out of his payWOW, you would think that companies like 651Carpets would carry insurance for these type of things??? No, they make the sub-contractor take the hit! I guess the next thing I'm not please about is, why am I dealing with the sub-contractor?? I hired 651Carp

Recently had granite countertops installed in our kitchen The install team did a great job, clean, fast and it looks great! I would recommend them to anyone! (I was also very happy with the price)

Carpet installed on Monday, 6-19- Installers had no respect for property, damaging walls and furniture As I was sitting in basement, I could here them yelling at each other, dropping items (believe furniture), to the point I thought they where going to come through the bsement ceiling Their vacuum broke, asking me if they could use mine, which isn't designed to pickup that much carpet pileAfter they left I did some additional vacuuming, notice carpet short in several places, paint chipped off wall (behind dresser they moved back in place), dents in walls (furniture dropped against), and paint chipped of kitchen walls (where they tried to shove furniture)Bedroom furniture all dinged up
Justin came out on Friday, June 23rd, to fix carpet that was short (another day I had to take of work) After I finally was able to able to put furniture back, is when I noticed all the dings to the furniture Called Justin back, I wanted some compensation for damages done to furniture

I am rejecting this response because:
I reject the business response, because they did lie regarding the size or color chooseYes, we did choose Uba Tuba but the product we get it not Uba Tuba, also the size he show us just the sampleThe color is not close to the Uba Tuba we saw at all the granite suppliers in MNWe did I ask Jamie about the color and he conformed that the Uba Tuba they will install is the same as the Uba Tuba at HomeDepot or other suppliesIn addition, they charged us $2,for $productWhen I confronted Jamie about the price and he will get back to me when he reached his office, until now I didn't hear any thing from himAlso, they said that the installation was perfect, but Jamie saw the installation and admit that the finishing not done very well when the connected the two granite by the sinkI texted him the picture tooIf they will stand with their product they will accept a check when they come to install but they won't install anything until we pay the final payment on Cash or Credit card, I get forced to text the picture of my bank card to my wife and the contractor to charged the final payment that show that they don't stand with their product. I So I disagree with their statement, I over charged and they installed wrong Uba Tuba in my kitchen and I am still need my refund from Carpets.

on november we had a salesman come to our home so we could pic out some carpet my wife and I decided with the help of the salesman Will *** from 651Carpets Peppercorn was the Carpet we Decided on because it was Dark and wouldn't show the Dirt so we Signed Papers I took my Copies Folded them as we Shook Hands and he said we would be very happy with the peppercorn because it was more plush alsoNovember I came home Early and Seen the installers bringing in a Roll of Carpeting I Stopped him and said that he was installing the Wrong CarpetingThe installer showed me his paper work and when I found mine it said the same thing OxfordI called the salesman Will *** and asked him if he recalled the Carpeting we Decided on he Say's to me wasn't it Peppercorn yes that's what we decided on but you wrote the wrong name on the paper work so he told me to call 651Carpets so I did the Product manager told me to let the installers install the rest of it and they would

We are trying to file a claim in order to have our carpeting replaced upstairs I have been emailing Alegra for over a month and have gotten no where I can't even get out of her what kind of carpeting we had installed This has been a huge hassle The price is good but knowing what I know now I would not go with carpets again

I had countertops installed by 651carpets and asked to view the product prior to installation But before I had the chance to view the product, the installers were ripping out my old countertops I was told that the countertops had already been customized and since I had already paid that was what I was getting

We are sorry to hear that the repair specialist was unable to address the concerns that you had. After speaking with him he had said that he took care of everything that David had requested he address while he was in your home. We apologize for the misunderstanding and would certainly
like to take care of any other installation concerns. Our quality control manager has made attempts to call the number provided to arrange another time, but has not been able to get in contact with you as of yet. This message was forwarded on to him and he has assured us that he will make another attempt to contact you today. We look forward to getting this issue resolved for you, and we again apologize for any miscommunication

David *** came out and gave me an estimate of $ I ordered/signed a contract and paid their required 1/down at time (February 26, 2018), heck #I was told that the remaining balance would be due at the end of the installSo we proceeded to get it ordered/scheduledI was called and left a message the afternoon of 3/stating that my service was scheduled for the next day for the install and that the balance would be due BEFORE installingI called back later that afternoon to confirm the install but that I wasn't comfortable paying the entire amount until it was finished The gal said that she didn't know what other business do, but that is their processShe stated that I could see the carpet in the back of the delivery/install van ahead of time, but that the installer wasn't going to go ahead unless I paid up front for it and that I couldn't pay with check, it had to be credit card or money order! We have been issued a complaint from the above customer, and we are confused as to why… We have installed the exact product that was chosen at the time of the sale, and we have installed it in a timely & professional manner.
The end result of the installation is beautiful, and nothing was installed incorrectlyAfter the installation occurred the customer made a call to our office stating that there was a height difference between the countertops and her appliances. We cannot control which appliances customers choose to have in their home, and we only have one size/thickness of granite that is ever installed. Again, the customer chose this product to be installed and had the exact sample in their hands before the purchase. The only options for the customer to level everything if they so choose, would be to raise the cabinets that are existing or get different appliances. Neither of these options are items that we could help withOur granite manager has been in contact with the customer numerous times and has tried explaining the situation in all different ways. We strive to make all of our customers happy, and we have done everything possible to satisfy this customer as well. We cannot offer any type of compensation as we have fulfilled all obligations with this order. We have installed a quality product in a quality mannerWe would be willing to come back out and resecure the dishwasher and add the granite strips as requested, but we cannot give any monetary compensationPlease advise as to when we can come back out to help the customer

We are sorry to hear that you believe this is an issue651-Carpets advertises many different promotions and sales, and we honor all of them fullyWe do not however combine any offers or promotionsIt is clearly worded on our website
saying either "not valid with any other offers" or "exclusions apply"We are sorry if the radio ad that was heard came accross in the wrong way, as we work diligently to make sure all of our ads are accurate
When this issue was brought to the attention of the owner, he did talk with the customer and agree to give him both offers ($700) off of his price matched estimate to make the customer happyThe problem then arose when the customer would not provide the salesman or owner an estimate from a accredited retailer on official letterheadThis is the procedure that we follow for all price matches that we do here at 651-CarpetsFor obvious reasons we can not take a customers word on an estimate or honor hand written estimates from non-retailers
The other problem with the customer's job and estimate was that he wanted to use an old piece of carpet that he had to place in the basementWe never install product that we do not sell! This would be a huge liability if something were to go wrong, and 651-Carpets is unable to fulfill any such requestsThe owner explained this to the customer in the best way possible
All in all, we are confused why these negative comments were made and posted when we have made every effort possible to satisfy the customer? We will still honor the $discount (which is above and beyond what is normally done), but we need to have the official estimate from another retailerWe are also unable to install any used product that is not purchased from 651-CarpetsThis is our company policy and it will not change
We hope this can be resolved in a timely manner, and we hope the best for the customer if he decides to go a different direction

The facts as they have been outlined by the business did not take place and the offer to honor the ad was deniedThere was never any mention or direction given in the ad to visit a web site
I did in fact show the Salesman the written offer I had from a competitor, and the best he would do is go $less
In my conversation with the owner, he infact invalidated the written quote I had stating that it was not from a Big Box, Brick and Mortar storeHe would not honor any quote from anyone else if they did not have a store
Conditions that were not outlined in the ad
as for the additional work for carpet I do have, he originally told the salesman he would do it but then totally denied saying that in my phone conversation with him
Ironically it was his company that was reluctant to leave a bid and the saleman just wrote the final price on the back of his business card
His confusion only comes from the fact that his story has changed as well as his ad

We paid carpets a deposit of dollars for half of the service to install flooring in our kitchenThat was back in the end of September and have only received calls back from carpetsWe have made MULTIPLE attempts at reaching them at any of their numbers, and even tried calling the sales representative who never answers nor calls backWe have left multiple voice mails as wellThe only time we got a call back was when we mentioned taking different course of action to get our money back after failing to answer their phonesWe have called twice in the last two days repeating the same voice mail (that we would take a different course of action) and received calls back VERY shortly afterIt was only than did they decided our phone call was important to themWe haven't been able before that to reach them to talk about canceling our contract or even being able to make an appointment for installation

On 7-9-Installers came to our house to install the Granite countertopsWhen they were finished they told me that they ran out of clear sealant for the countertops and that I would have to go purchase my own from Home Depot...we paid in full alreadyWe complained to the company that we will not be purchasing our own and that they need to come back to finishOn 7-18-we had installers from 651Carpets coming to install our LVP floor, the granite installers also came to finish their jobIn the end, the LVP floor installers told us that they ran out of the floor and that they would have to come back to finishWe called multiple times and no one would contact us back about our floorFinally, on 7-31-we got ahold of someone and got it set up where they would come on 8-1-to finish the jobI had appointments that day that I needed to leave for by 11:AMOn 8-1-they told me that the installer would be there at AM to finish the flooro'clock came and I called the comp
