Granite was installed at incorrect height for my slide in range, resulting in range standing 3/of an inch above countertop Also, Dishwasher was not accurately secured to granite causing it to tip forward when open

We are sorry to hear about the lack of communication from the granite manager, and we are already in contact with the customer. We will resolve any concerns that need to be addressed-

Carpets installed some carpet on a stairway for usDamage was done to new drywall by their installerI called Carpets immediately to bring the damage to their attentionAs this was was a newly remodeled house, the stairway drywall was in perfect condition and now had huge gouge right in the middle of the wall I have since left messages and forwarded a picture to a customer service rep and have gotten no response from themIt has now been weeks and still will not get a return phone call to repair the damage done to our home

I'm a very patient positive person, but this experience working with carpets has been horrible We had work done in October and it's Jan and we still don't have our carpet install fixed I wish we NEVER used this company to purchase our carpet I leave messages and I don't get calls back I get put on hold for a very long time and then to voicemail I don't think anyone works there The salesman talked us into a carpet that couldn't be installed the way we wanted They removed all our oak qtr round and didn't replace it, now we have goofy looking transitions that look like WE installed the carpet and did our trim work We can see the seem that transitions from our dining room into our living room They do not back their 100% satisfaction or they will replace

I wish I would have read some of these reviews before I had this company install my carpet & laminate flooring I had a scheduled date to get both installed, took a day off work, made sure everything we needed to disconnect and move was done, and found a place for my dog to go for the day so she wouldn't be in the way the carpet installers never showed up that day, I called twice asking when they would be there the 2nd call was to Justin, he told me he had no idea where his installers were, he couldn't get ahold of them and not getting a call back (they must take after their managers) I was told by him and the first guy I called that I would get a callback when I could expect them....never got a call back
the laminate crew showed up at 3:30pm..I thought at least I would get that part done..I WAS WRONG! the ripped up my old flooring & carpet and told me it wouldn't be installed until the next morning they left carpet nails, staples, splinters of wood etc all over the floor no way we could bring my dog home or walk with out shoes(thank god I don't have little kids to worry about) so I had to make arrangements for my dog to stay overnight and all the next day at 5:I called the rep who quoted me and told me how wonderful their company wastold him it is 5:and I have nothing installed, he said he was busy and would call me back........NEVER CALLED BACK...SHOCKER!
the next day ( a Saturday) the laminate guys showed up, after about hrs they informed me that they didn't have all the materials they needed, they had to drive to Zimmerman to pick up what they needed and would be back in about hrs (after telling me they should be done by 11am, and apparently both of them had to drive and get transition pcs???)
when they returned they worked for a few hours and then one guy left??? leaving one to finish the job by himself not sure how one guy planned on moving the furniture back in place.....luckily I had someone there that could help him...even though part of the payment was to include moving of furniture also delayed the job getting done, so it didn't get finished until 3:pm...another whole day of MY TIME wasted and plans had to be changed during all that the carpets crew (not the managers) called me to come over, they were an hr later than they told they would be that morning (hrs late from original appt)
I have called different people, the last one is Maxwell, I was told I would definitely get a call back about my concerns and lack of communication, told them I would like some sort of discount for my time and inconvenience of the whole situation (the fact I had to take off work and had my house all rearranged and nothing was completed per the signed contract) and guess whatSTILL NO CALLBACK
if I was the owner of this company I would be embarrassed and disgusted with the lack of customer service his employees give to his customersof course I did ask to speak to him on one call and was told that was impossible I would not recommend this company to anyone, not for the products but strictly for not showing up to do the job they signed on for, and total lack of customer service & support

There was no transition pieces installed with the wood flooringThey did not have them A piece of wood was layed as a transition at the bedroom unevenly so that one side is higher than the other with a big noticeable uneven gapWe complained and we're told by installer that they would fix it before leavingThey did not
Carpet we ordered was short an entire 16' × 13'bedroomThey had to order more to finish the jobWe were told that they would order more carpet and provide & fix wood transitions at the same timeCarpet installers arrived with carpet for a closet and had no idea that they had to finish a entire roomThey also had no idea about any transition pieces to fix the wood even though we've contacted the company and spoke to the same person(Justin) each time and he assured us they would all be fixed on he same day

I had a terrible experience with this company and would not recommend themThe sales person was pushy and told me I had three days to cancel my order if I changed my mindThe order was placed on a Ipad mini and was to be emailed to meI never received a copyI called the office right away the next day to cancelThey told me I needed to call my sales personThe sales person told me he needed to call me back, but didn't return my call or answer when I tried calling him back several times that dayIt took three days and several calls to him and the main office before they would cancel my orderWhen my statement came that month there was still $on my card, when I called them they told me it was a cancellation fee

No communication, poor work n customer service, demaged items n missing parts

This company installed hardwood flooring, after they demanded all their money up front, now we have no leverage for them to complete the workThe work order states remove and replace hand rail and toilet, our toilet is still sitting by our front doorwe have trim work missingMy daughter slipped and fell in the foyer from the step that's missing wood because they did not have the wood to finish the jobWe were not properly informed about the purchase of the wood, after we made the purchase they said the wood was on back order and was so for months after the purchaseOn the day of install they said they will not install unless it's all paid in fullWho does that? No contractor does this! Its despicable, how they appear to be a stand up company with an A ratingThey should have an F rating, and should be in businessI am frustrated because my work is unfinished and they have been paid in full
Their sales guy Will, misrepresented himself and the sale to begin with, he did not

Granite was installed at incorrect height for my slide in range, resulting in range standing 3/of an inch above countertop Also, Dishwasher was not accurately secured to granite causing it to tip forward when open

The thinnest granite countertops I have every seen! So disappointed What a waste of money Do you research on granite before you buy The sample I saw that I picked from was thicker than the countertops installed!

On 7/20/had the carpet in two large rooms stretchedOzzy was very professional, and did a great jobVery pleased with the service he provided

My carpet is pulling up and hard floors contain defective boards, didn't receive all materials and installation that was paid for
On 2/6/Aaron *** accepted a check for $towards the total price of $5750, the rest was paid in cash to the installersWork began on 2/25/and I was told it would last daysThe carpet is bubbled and pulling up around the living room transition, the dining room floor has a noticeably defective piece, the kitchen floor has gaps in the doorway exposing the old floor, and my entryway floor was left with a nail poking through Brian, one of the installers, cut the nail so it isn't sharp but I was left with the damaged floor piece still installedOur 1/round was cut improperly in many places and there is a gap in the joint between the old and new, and the old shouldn't even be on there, I didn't receive all of the materials I paid forI have called and their contractors multiple times to have this rectified but I haven't heard back from any

Subcontractors used by Carpets to install my countertops did not shim up the countertops correctly, did not recenter my stove between my cabinets and took a hacksaw to one trim piece to the left of my stove, for no reason, as well as scuffed up/marked up my pantry cabinet as it was a "tight fit" (their words) to put that granite piece in They did come back to shim up one side and that is satisfactory but I have never had such a horrible experience with a crew as I did with this crew of subcontractors Not only that, they stole something from my garage - not of much value but they were the only people in my garage the day of install and it's the principle of the matter If those are the types of people Carpets hires out for subcontractors, then they need to find different crews of subcontractors This was by far the WORST experience I have ever had with a home/remodel project

On Aug29, the said company installed new countertop in my home While installing the counter top the installer ruined my existing back splash , which was not being replaced at present time Because of this I now have to install new back splash on one wall The installer also scratched my new stainless steel stove The negligence of their installers was entirely the reason for these mishaps, resulting in my having to invest in new back splash and ordering a new panel for my stove I contacted their customer service on the same day of the installation and advised them of the problemsI have had to leave messages on five different occasions to try and resolve this issue A manager finally came out two weeks ago and looked at the problems He agreed that these things should not have occurredAs to date they will not return by call to see how they are going to correct the problems Whenever I call now they always tell me the manager has just left on three different occasio

We had carpet and flooring installed September 30th Carpet seams have started to separate and flooring seams are present and catching on materials on socks
We have called their customer service rep (Justin) to have someone come out and fix the problem before it gets worse
Justin said he would have to find out who did the install job and get back to my husband I called back and informed the person answering the phone with the names of the installers (my husband was present during the installations) Never heard back from anyoneI called back a third time and requested that someone return our call to discuss As of this date, we have not heard back from anyonePoor customer service foll

We are very pleased with our experience with 651Carpets! Our sales person did a great job providing us with lots of optionsOur capet was installed todayWe love itThe installers did a great job too!! The price and service all the way around was exactly what we hoped forCan't wait to get our new countertops now

651carpets installed vinyl floor in the kitchen and baths of a homeIt is a loose lay product not requiring adhesive as verified by the product manufacturerThe flooring has buckled and has many ridges and bumps651carpets refuses to repair or replace the defective vinyl and/or defective labor

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/02/01) */
We are sorry to hear that the customer thinks he was taken advantage of in any wayOur salesman came out to the property to show him a variety of products that we offerHe gave the customer numerous options to choose from both in carpet and
hardwoodA salesman does not know what materials are underneath the existing floor or what condition a homeowner's floor may be in under any type of floorThey are experts in their field of sales...they are by no means installersSalesmen do not carry tools to take up floors, and our company would never allow them to do anything of the sortNo customer would want their home to be left with a floor that has been taken up to see what is underneath the vinylImagine if the customer decided to not get floors from our company and the floors were taken up? This is the responsibility of the homeowner to either know or investigate what they need/want for their projectOur salesman only presented options to the customer, and then the customer decided which product they wanted
As stated in the signed contract by the customer (attached), a 50% non-refundable deposit is made for all ordersWe purchased the special order product for this particular project and when the installer arrived for installation the customer decided that he wanted to keep his uncovered wood floorsHe refused the installer to do any work and turned him awayWe still have the special order product in our warehouse and we are unable to return these goodsIf the customer would like to cancel the order and keep his existing floors he certainly can, but he would be obligated to pay the original deposit for the materials
We are confused as to why the customer thinks we run our business incorrectly, or that the salesman was doing anything other than trying to help the customer get the product he wanted at a fair price? We are very clear about our policies, and they are nothing different than "industry standard"No business would allow a consumer to cancel an order of specialty goodsWe have contracts and checklists in place for these very reasonsWe would love to install the flooring that the customer ordered, but he has made the decision to not allow usWe are actually disappointed in the fact that the customer is trying to tarnish our company name when we have done nothing wrong
We will not refund the customer the money for the deposit, and if he does not want to pick up the product he does not have toThis was offered as an incentive, as we normally would house the product and have to sell it at a discount when/if possibleAgain, the customer has the choice to either have his hardwood installed under the terms of the contract or he can cancel his order with a 50% restocking feeWe will deal with the credit card dispute in the same way
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/02/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am so sorry to hear that the company is still confused about my disappointment for not receiving a professional assistance on time from their flooring consultantThe company stated that "Our salesman came out to the property to show him (me) a variety of products that we offer." The company continued,"...He gave the customer numerous options to choose from both in carpet and hardwoodA salesman does not know what materials are underneath the existing floor or what condition a homeowner's floor may be in under any type of floor." Finally, the company concluded, "...They are experts in their field of salesthey are by no means installers"If that is the case, I am even more disappointed that the flooring consultant (this is his title, according to his business card) was only focused on selling me a product disregarding the fact that installation was also part of the dealI want to clarify that he was not selling me a piece of furniture that I could place wherever a wanted in my houseThe product that I was buying was going to be installed by the company in an area that he was supposed to study previously and make calculations about how to do it in a professional mannerIf the flooring consultant (now identified by the company only as a "salesman") didn't know anything about installation, the company should have sent somebody with that expertiseSomebody who could tell right away that there was already hard wood floor under the vinyl, without having to take up floorReal experts do not need to dig into floors to make an educated guessHe saw the other rooms in the second floor and noticed that they had hard wood floorHe recognized that in his work he had visited more old houses in West Saint Paul and that they shared similar featuresWith a minimum experience in that field, he should have suspected that there was hard wood floor in that room alsoThat is why, I wanted to hire a professional firm that was in a position of power to offer a piece of advice for its customer's best optionClearly the company did not fulfill that expectationThey seemed to be more interested in just selling their products and ignoring the implication of offering an installation service that requires a more careful calculation
I restate my initial position to cancel the order without owning anything to the companyIn addition, I still think that I deserve an apology for how upset this entire experience has made me feel

Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/02/15) */
I believe that the customer is confused as to what the role or responsibility of the salesman is? Again, no salesman would know what is underneath an existing floor without taking it up to seeThis procedure is not expected (or condoned), and is impossible to do without the proper tools and risk of damage to the existing flooringWe have a variety of customers with requests for many different materialsWe offer products that the customer requests to seeWe replace, repair, and recover many floors with hardwood and other materialsWe have no idea what the subfloor is, or whether or not the existing materials underneath an existing floor are salvageable for any type of useWe would assume that the customer has already looked into the project they are requesting to be done?
Again, the salesman gave the customer options to choose from and the customer decided to go with new hardwoodThe price was given for the project and the customer signed off on the terms of the contractIf the customer would like to cancel the order, there is a 50% restocking fee (as stated and signed off on in the contract)The other option would be to have the original work order done for the hardwood installation for the contract priceThe company has done absolutely nothing wrong to this customer, and the company is extremely disappointed to have negative feedback on a site like Revdex.com-

Let’s begin with the issues of my specific case: On March 3, I paid $14,via credit card to for carpet, hardwood floor, and granite countertops I was told to schedule with Max within one week of my order I scheduled installation of carpet, hardwood and granite all at the same time On March 16, the granite counter tops were installed, however not before any issues The installers came to my home without enough product therefore I incurred an extra seam in my granite countertops About two weeks later I notice chips and pitting in the granite This chips and pitting are not natural to the stone, this is only natural to a sub-par productI was also to have a 4-inch granite backsplash installed at the same time, which was not doneI contact Robert, sales representative, via text messages and phone calls to both his personal and work cell phone I received no answer As of August 24, 2018, we still have not yet received the backsplashI began calling cu
