Revdex.com:
For the time being, the response from 651Carpets is sufficient, as we finally got a responseHad they contacted us to discuss the claim, we might have known that the process might take up to monthsHad the individual responding to this complaint actually read my complaint, she/he would know that the lack of certainty about when and if a claim was submitted was due to the complete lack of response on the part of 651Carpets, and due to the fact that we were asked to resend images we'd already sentNowhere in my complaint does it state that a claim was NOT submittedMy complaint also states that we were aware of the distinction between INSTALLER and MANUFACTURERAgain, it is and was clear to us who is responsible for the carpet, as opposed to the installationThis is why I'm regarding this complaint as being sufficiently addressedFinally, the claim may not have been unattended, as 651Carpets states in their reply, but there was no way for us to know since no one would respond to our callsIt took a complaint on the Revdex.com website to get someone's attentionThis, and the snide comments made in their response to my complaint are examples of the poor customer service we experiencedWe trust that future communication will improve

Subcontractors used by Carpets to install my countertops did not shim up the countertops correctly, did not recenter my stove between my cabinets and took a hacksaw to one trim piece to the left of my stove, for no reason, as well as scuffed up/marked up my pantry cabinet as it was a "tight fit" (their words) to put that granite piece in They did come back to shim up one side and that is satisfactory but I have never had such a horrible experience with a crew as I did with this crew of subcontractors Not only that, they stole something from my garage - not of much value but they were the only people in my garage the day of install and it's the principle of the matter If those are the types of people Carpets hires out for subcontractors, then they need to find different crews of subcontractors This was by far the WORST experience I have ever had with a home/remodel project

We hired 651Carpets after sales person Robert had visited our house and was able to quote us and confirm that his bid was comparable to the other bid(s) we were sharingQuoted was vinyl floor planking, carpeting and granite countertops
9/4/ Crew was supposed to start at 9am-930amDid not showI called Amanda who said she needed talk to the granite manager Was told they had car trouble but did not communicate it They arrived around 12:45pm that dayThat day, the main piece of granite was broke by the workers The quality of other material installed was not goodThe thickness of the granite was also questioned as we are not the experts but it appeared thinEspecially when having a large island with an overhang My wife tried to communicate with workers but there was a language barrier and no one available by phone to discuss The work is not acceptable and we have communicated The sales person felt we were buying based on price and quoted us a lighter product withou

I hired this company to put in granite counter tops, carpeting and plank flooring in my kitchen We were asked to put 1/down on the job and assured "you can back out at any time and get your money back" which was a lie We decided to back out after seeing several bad reviews and were referred to "DaveDirector of operations" Dave spoke with my wife and basically called her a liar sayng "our sale reps would never say you can get your down payment back" Our choice was to walk away from bucks with nothing or muscle through this We chose the latter and it was a huge mistake The person who came to the house to measure everything, measured the counter tops wrong (thanks for the big unsightly seam in our granite!) and if that wasn't bad enough they measured the carpeting wrong too The carpet layers they sent out, one could speak no English and the other very little, did a really bad job laying the carpet, screwed up the threshold from the carpet the to the kitchen flooring (which cost me another to get fix and done right by another carpet company)
If I seen these guys coming up the driveway to do any work on my house I would rather strike a match and burn it down
I would never let them darken my doorway again
Don't walk, run away from these clowns

carpets installed a stainless steel kitchen sink that I purchased from them as "new" but it has rust on it
I have tried directly contacting them to have them install a new stainless steel sink WITHOUT rust but was not successful
I then tried to have the issue corrected through my MasterCard which was also unsuccessful as all carpets had to do was "respond" to my complaint, which they did- by accusing me of putting "dye" in the sink
They also noted I signed checklist after installation but I informed that when the workers left my countertops and sink were full of dust and I could not see the rust until I had my plumber out to connect the pipes so I could clean the dust out of the sink
I immediately contacted them once the rust spots were visible
So the checklist I signed should actually be null and void as I could not see the finished product due to the dust
I am only asking for what I paid for which is a new stainless steel sink WITHOUT rust
Being a business own

We paid carpets a deposit of dollars for half of the service to install flooring in our kitchenThat was back in the end of September and have only received calls back from carpetsWe have made MULTIPLE attempts at reaching them at any of their numbers, and even tried calling the sales representative who never answers nor calls backWe have left multiple voice mails as wellThe only time we got a call back was when we mentioned taking different course of action to get our money back after failing to answer their phonesWe have called twice in the last two days repeating the same voice mail (that we would take a different course of action) and received calls back VERY shortly afterIt was only than did they decided our phone call was important to themWe haven't been able before that to reach them to talk about canceling our contract or even being able to make an appointment for installation

I got an initial quote for granite with different prices based on the size we used for one section of countertopsI said I wanted to move forward with getting our counters and asked about a breakdown of cost from the quote (because all I was given were final numbers), financing etcI was able to schedule my install, but never got any more info on what I would be chargedI told them I needed the price and that I wanted to put part of the cost on my credit card and finance the rest
The day of install came and the crew had no idea that I was supposed to pay themI called the granite manager while they were installing who didn't answer and never called me backInstall happened, and I had to mark that I had paid (even though I hadn't)I continued to reach out to the granite manager and the main office, both of which didn't return my callsLast week I called again and was told no one but the granite manager can give me a breakdown of the prices I was supposed to be charged, but he

It took over months from quote to finish and still no itemized billThe operations manager Dave was about as rude as they comeThe sales rep quoted me $and was going to send me something the next day in writing as he knew this was a insurance claim
QuoteI asked to have the owner call me several times but that never happenedThe poor young subcontractor pulls up In a big white unmarked truck and I had to explain what he needed to doAnd on top of that the quarter round was wrong so they had to have a carpet guy come out with his tools to finish the job and use a hot glue gunI couldn't believe it! I asked why and the contractor said tells us to make it workI can't believe there isn't more complaints on this awful business!

We hired Carpets to install new kitchen flooring in our home When the installers arrived, they inspected our existing floor and determined that the floor was not level, and so they would be unable to install the new flooring as planned The installers explained that because they were unable to complete the work, they would be cancelling our order and we would not be held accountable for any payment, since the services were not completed
Carpets billed my credit card $2,for services that were never completed
I have contacted Carpets on multiple occasions to no avail My calls have not been returned as promised, and I have not been able to get anyone there to acknowledge the issue in any way
I disputed the charge with the credit card company as well The credit card company contacted Carpets to investigate the dispute Carpets provided the credit card company with a copy of the original contract we signed showing that the cost of services was $2,

I have had an amazing experience with carpet and my installation hasn't even happened yet!
Everyone I've encountered has been so accommodating, helpful and friendly in answering questions, working around schedules and providing awesome customer serviceThanks to all!

I had Carpets come out and install new carpeting on October 19th, The gentlemen that came to install our carpeting could not confirm that they had the right carpeting Told us we had to pay anyways up front It took them over hours to lay our carpeting We found massive cracks and gaps in our carpet padding that we purchased When they were done and we were putting things together we found all the damage The whole master bedroom pieces were damaged, a $chair was broken and the front storm door was broken I called the sales rep right away Monday morning (Robert) and he sent Andrew out to take pictures of the damage After that, I called Andrew and Robert daily and NEVER heard from the company They both kept telling me that they were putting calls in and speaking to management I finally called Carpets directly and reached Amanda in Customer Service She apologized and did not know anything about my situation They refunded $for the horrible pad a

We ordered and had granite counter tops installed in our kitchen There were multiple issues with installationWhen contractor pulled old backsplash off he destroyed walls so he was unable to put new back splash on, we did not get promised size of counter top, there was a large seam in the middle of the counter top(Which we were told would not be noticeable) and two pieces on the same counter did not match upWe were told it would all be replacedJim the granite manager told us our sales person was not experienced leading to many miscommunications Now, we've been promised new counter tops and no one will call us back(We have made many calls to Chad, Jim, Amanda and left messages and texts and nothing in return)I asked to speak to owner and was told he does not take calls

I am very angry and Disappointed with 651CARPETS Wrong Carpet installed befor last thanksgiving salesman had the wrong name on the paper work and when I called him to ask what carpet we agreed on he knew and when I told him what he had on the paper work he told me I had to call 651CARPETS and tell them what was going on I am wondering why I'm doing this salesman's Job so I called and the guy said let the installers install the rest of the wrong carpeting and they would come out at a later Date to switch it out when they left they hung the wrong doors and also left a big mess nails and carpet strands all over the place January 651carpets calls me says he would call me with a date to switch out my carpet it is now March and still waiting on that call #They have very poor Customer Service # when they put me on hold or transfer me to some one else it hangs up I will never do Business with this company ever again I've made payments for carpeting I don't even have installed yet this is not Right Signed a very Angry and unsatisfied Customer !!!

We had a very positive exspirence with Carpet
Sales man was very professional even came out and met with me times to make sure the carpet was what I wanted The guys that installed were great also Great price and great service I would for sure use them again

I had a terrible experience with this company and would not recommend themThe sales person was pushy and told me I had three days to cancel my order if I changed my mindThe order was placed on a Ipad mini and was to be emailed to meI never received a copyI called the office right away the next day to cancelThey told me I needed to call my sales personThe sales person told me he needed to call me back, but didn't return my call or answer when I tried calling him back several times that dayIt took three days and several calls to him and the main office before they would cancel my orderWhen my statement came that month there was still $on my card, when I called them they told me it was a cancellation fee

I purchased granite counter tops with their salesman Robert *** on Friday, March 16th, I was VERY CLEAR that if they could not get the counter tops installed by the end of March, I wanted a refund of the $I put down and to hold off until later in the year as I have a hectic travel schedule I was told "no problem." The required install date was written on the contract and agreed to be March 23rd March 21st I get a call from Max the installer wanting to schedule but he claims he can't install until mid to late April I told him what my agreement with Robert was and he agreed to call me back No call back I called & texted Robert the next day, no call back The following day I tried both Max and Robert Again no call backs I then called my credit card company to have the charges reversed, sensing that this company was no on the up and up produced a copy of the agreement and had to reverse the charges because, I am told, they responded and are required t

The company installed scrap granite without our knowledgeWhen we complained, it was acknowledged that they did this due to an inventory shortage (not disclosed when we paid) and that their installers were supposed to allow us to see the slabs before they put them in (they did not)Now, we have mismatched granite in our kitchen and instead of rectifying the problem, their management suggested we change the lighting in our homeThey also told us that if we had an island in our kitchen (instead of a peninsula), we would not be able to tell the difference as muchNot only did the company knowingly do a horrible job, they treated us first with aggression (coming to our home and pacing, raised voices, etc.) and then with dismissiveness (lying that phone calls had been made, ignoring emails and requests for calls) after they realized we had a valid complaint
If I could select two things in the "nature of complaint," I would have also selected customer service because on top of feeling

Absolutely amazing! If I could give them stars I would! Excellent customer serviceI was very indecisive but they were patient with me and helped me every step of the wayTrue Minnesotans, every person I worked with there was fantasticMy granite looks perfect, I couldn't be more happyI'll definitely be returning!

We bought flooring and granite counter tops from Carpets and are mostly satisfiedThey suggested a sealer and cleaner to spray on the graniteWe used the product and now have yellow marks where the seams come together on the granite at different locations on the counter topI have called Carpets numerous times and have emailed them several times without resolve to our repair issueAt one point I got someone live on the phone and he said the repair guy was out on vacation that week but would contact me that next weekThat was over a month ago and I have had no return contact from Carpet to repair the granite

It took over months from quote to finish and still no itemized billThe operations manager Dave was about as rude as they comeThe sales rep quoted me $and was going to send me something the next day in writing as he knew this was a insurance claim
